This is a long running Project of Kain's. He chose to remove as little plant life in the construction of his house. He used his powers to create this place. Among it all he has 25 rooms, an extensive library, a shrine, even a forge. (This is in the deep woods mind you, not in a town)

Kain sat in the shrine, statues of each God around him. Minus Kala and her ilk of course. Masamune and Marumasa were crossed on the floor before him as he kneeled Meditating. He sat with his eyes closed, he felt disturbed. Something felt wrong he didn't like it. There were forces in this world at work beyond mortals.
Exceed arrived, heading for the Shrine like the letter stated as he was a tad annoyed by the sudden disappearance of their king. But he took little heart in it as he sighed and walked inside to try and find Kain.

As Kain sat there he became aware that he was not alone. As the Human Captain entered the shrine, Kain stayed still meditating, his eyes remained shut. "Thank you for coming Captain" he said monotonously and calm "care to join me?"
He sighed as he walked over towards Kain before he sat down beside Kain when he was offered to join him. "What did you summon me here for? Surely it wasn't to sit around..." Exceed told him in an annoyed tone.

Kain sighed himself as he opened his eyes "I enjoy this peace, don't you?" he asked Exceed obviously leading somewhere. Being closer to Yuran he was privy to want had transpired. Korok taking his life for some reason and this new king of Nocturne. This peace will be shattered and the life he has come to love would be destroyed.
Exceed glared at Kain, being that he could feel calm when they were already in war territory. He looked towards the door before he soon got up and stared down at Kain as he spoke about the peace. "I'm a captain, I'm not a being known for peace.... with those heaven portals, this place's elves are at risk of death thanks to the oncoming angels! How can you be sitting here, doing nothing?!" Exceed shouted at Kain, the peace was never there to begin with, not even Korok would have all the knowledge in the world before he died to realize that Kranila would be the first one targeted by the Angels.

Kain kept himself calm "Listen Exceed" he started neglecting the use of title. "I am aware of the happenings around us, I don't need you to remind me" he stood up and faced Excced. "I love this land and it's people's" he then gestures to where he was just sitting "this helps my not become a genocidle monster" he said darkly. He points to Marumasa whispers could be heard 'kill him...' 'Slice through his entrails...' it hissed "I have made it my burden to carry that accursed thing til I perish, it's will constantly fighting my own when I have it." Memories flooded his mind, of blood and gore,,of lifeless bodies and menical laughter, his own laughter.
"Listen? You are aware huh?" Exceed stated as he approached the royal guard before he glared at him. "If you claim it as such, why are you still here? I don't care if it's to keep you from being a monster... don't wield that thing into battle, ya hear?!" Exceed shouted at the man, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt to lift him up.

Kain still stayed calm even as Exceed man handled him "please calm yourself young one" he said calmly "I didn't ask you here to fight." Taking a breath "I was here gathering my thoughts and myself..." he paused "the King is deceased."
"I noticed he is dead..." Exceed told Kain with a dark glare before he released the man, sighing a bit as he began to head to the door. "Gathering your thoughts won't help if you end up the same like him.... get your equipment. I have a new mission for you."
They arrived at a large mansion in the midst of the forest. Kylantha looked about foe a way to announce their pressence. Her eye fell upon a pull-cord, she gave it a tug "BONG!" the sound echoed through the compound.
"With this wind, I will swirl. With this fire, I will dance."
"With this water, I will envelop. With this earth, I will crush."
"Well, they'll certainly know we're here now...can't wait to see just what you have planned that involves whoever this guy is..." Elysia waits for someone to show up.
"And with this magic, I will kill."
"You sure you're ready for this?"

A man in a Hakama answered the door. He mainly looked like a human besides that one of his arms was covered with a gauntlet. But closer inspection would reveal that it WAS his arm. He looked over the two Young Dark Elves with his Hazel eyes "what beings you to my abode?" he asked them.
Kylantha bowed to the man "you are the Reaper Kain Leingod right?" she asked him "I am Kylantha and this is my partner Elyisa, I have a favor to ask of you" she added on.
