Chapter 6: Feed the Beast   || IC ||
Beside the tents of the leaders of Tendaji, in a corral made from stiffened vines, is a massive creature. As tall as the rather intimidated leaf earthling standing beside its corral, the beast was was thick and long enough of body to hold three riders astride it, and much much longer considering its body, as well as its massive, finned tail.
As intimidating as its size would suggest it to be, the creature was not involved in harassing the earthling guarding it - instead it stood, shifting from clawed foot to clawed foot, making pained noises. Anyone who came close to the corral was met with wide eyes and a plaintive sound - it wanted something.
"I think it's hungry - it's uh... been doing that for a while now." The leaf earthling said uncertainly, frowning. From his bag he produced a hasty note from its owner, who is for now involved in heavy conversation in the tent, asking the earthling to provide her beast with food. "But how can I guard it AND feed it at the same time?" He grumbled.

||. The treats each have an affect on the beast, prepping it for battle - the more treats it gets the better it will perform!
||. This mini-game does NOT require rp. If you would like to get credit for Versatile Points, please do so in the main Tale Camp forum. That being said you are welcome to rp here if you like.
||. Each USER may roll once per day to find food for the beast. This means you may only roll once per day, NOT once per character per day.
||. If you only have Loyalist characters, remember that this mini-game is only for the Mystery Beast, not for the Oban Beasts.
||. Roll 1 4-sided dice once a day. The number of your roll determines what item you have found for the beast!
||. The mini-game will end when battles begin.

 Kie-ja [1]But... aren't Kie-ja poisonous? Well, apparently this beast isn't affected by it's poison - at least, according to the note. (36)  Tale Bulb [2]The bulbs don't seem to be a big hit with the beast, but at least it's healthy! (43)  Tale Nut [3]Ooh, a delicacy! The beast chomps the hard nuts like it's never eaten them before, but seems to enjoy them nonetheless. ( 52 )  Tale Grub [4]A nice, big juicy grub just like good ol' mom used to cook! ( 56 )

There were few things in the world that couple completely silence Aysun but standing there before him in a makeshift cage was one of those few things. He eyes were wide, mouth agape, and he seemed to have forgotten what words even were until the one in charge of watching over the massive lizard cleared his throat and seemed to wake Aysun up a bit. Blinking a couple times he took a step forward, "Wow! Where did you get that? Can I have him?" A question met with a stare, one that said he wasn't getting the giant beast any time soon. Maybe he'd try to conquote a grand scheme to steal him later he thought to himself, clapping his hands together in delight... up until the thing gave a rather pathetic sound, one foot pawing at the ground.
"Eh?" He heard the guard saying something about the creature being hungry but him being unable to guard the beast and fetch food for it. It was something that had Aysun's eyes lighting up, "I'll do it!" He said in an excited manner before he turned on his heel and rushed off to find something for the large creature to eat. He wasn't sure what it might want but one thing he did know was when it came to making friends with various beasts the best way to do so was with food. All he had to do was win it over through a delicious meal or two and then it would be his best friend and follow him home! At least that was the dream the halfbreed was currently having as he searched around for something that might appeal to the large lizard. After rooting around for a while along the edge of the camp he was able to find a big, fat, brightly colored Tale Grub that he knew to be tasty and he was on his way back to where the creature was being held with it in his grasp.
Upon arrival he smiled up at the big creature and said, "Look what I got for you!" Holding his hands out flat with the grub on it. The big creature leaned in closer, inspecting the worm for a moment, before slurping it up with that long tongue it had. The fact that it seemed happy with the treat had Aysun bouncing in place, "Oh man! You are so cute!" He declared, not caring about the looks the statement got him, he loved the giant lizard already and meant to bring it all the treats he could find for it!

(Foraging: Oct 1) Ikkio decided to give the creature something nice and filling, not that it seemed to make any difference in it's hunger. Whatever, the bulb had just been sitting there. It did more good in the creature's stomach.
”You certainly are a hungry beast...” she murmured, stroking its nose before setting out to find something more.

Kauff approached the creature with a grin. He'd heard about the Oban's beasts, but he'd had no idea the Resistance possessed one of their own. He only hoped it could be coaxed into fighting for them when the time came. The prentice followed the lead of the ones who had come before him, offering up a kie-ja with gloved hands.

With her hand clasped with her father's, Padma shuffled close to the beast, the Tale nuts held in her hand. Before she could raise the morsel to the curious beast's mouth, Uquin knelt and gently took the nuts from her, smiling. "I don't know if it's safe, darling." He said softly, petting the top of her hair despite her pout, and offered the nuts in his daughter's stead.
He may not like creatures too much, but he was glad to do it for his daughter.

rolling for 10/1 Yelena sees the cute beast and tries to feed it. She finds some tasty nuts and offers them to the beast. Giggles as it devours them and seems to like them.
