        Word of advice: don't fall asleep here. The land of the succubi, home of Lilith, is an odd one. For the most part, it appears to be one giant wasteland, dominated by an imposing moon, but in the center lies a great lake. In the center of this lake floats the capital of the entire realm. A busy metropolis, Gibbus never sleeps, and offers some of the most tantalizing nightlife in the Netherworld. It's essentially Vegas for demons... Party. C: But besides all that, the financial district of Gibbus has proven to be an indispensable part of Netherworld economy, seeing more flags from different lands in an hour than most realms see in a month or more. And so it has become a sort of cultural Mecca and artistic sanctuary as well. A city like this couldn't afford to sleep. Of course, in order to get there one has to cross the Sea of Declivity. The trading ships, as well as touring and the richer pilgrims, have a guiding demon to help them through. Those who don't face a truly harrowing voyage. The waters of the lake have special properties. In places, there are demons that literally change the tide into a hellacious malstrom. During those swells, the leviathan will emerge and tower overhead like a wave threatening to smash their boat. What will really happen is that the demon will suck up the vessel and send it up into the sky. The thing is, the sky is actually the surface of the lake. The heads of the demons turn to stone above the cloudy surface, and form the mountain-like structures seen in the pictures. The view of the realm from here goes on forever, seeming never to change. Maybe can avoid this trap simply by heeding the word of the touring demons. In effect, Gibbus has privatized the city not only to the Netherworlders outside the realm, but those within it as well. The rest of the realm is seemingly desolate, However, there are sparse outcrops of settlers. Be warned though, this is a trap as well. Trust me, you're gonna wanna get a guide and go straight to Gibbus in this realm, lest your reason fall asleep.

▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ζ▀▀▀▀I▀▀▀▀ζ▀▀▀▀I▀▀▀▀ț▀▀▀▀Ћ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀  In an inconspicuous building in Gibbus, Lilith lounged in her plush den, waiting for something exciting to happen perhaps, and thought about all the souls she still had to capture. It was greed, malice, or anything more selfish than self-preservation that fueled these thoughts. She had a quota to fill, and it was getting late.
She pulled out a watch, special in that it was the only one in the dimension that could tell the time of the outside world, which is how the systeme worked; at midnight each night, 100 demon child of Lilith must be sacrificed. She sighed and got up.
I guess it's showtime,she said as she threw on some clothes and walked out the door.

"Adrian... Adrian...!" Lilith's voice could be heard as the turbulence began to calm down. The two were in freefall, just like that, through a breaking cloud's blink above the capital of Lilith's state in the Nether. "We're almost there. What do you think?" The whole of the city could be seen curling around a tower in the center that looked like it could poke an eye out if one were to look at it too close, and the moon bouncing here and there painted dark orthogonals pointing back to their birthplace. The place looked like a sundial, and the time never mattered because it was always "time is money" for everyone, the industry breathing here. Or it could have been more like an atom with the curious hoverers and flying things and people creating a buzz all their own that, for the adjusted, became an alarm clock and a lullaby depending on how they put it in their mind.
"Ok...! Time to land!" Lilith began glowing--like for real--and in the moonlight looked like she'd been dipped in hot silver, and maybe a happy photographer got a hold of some violet lights to drain over her. In a moment she transformed into her Succubus form. She took Adrian's hand and prepared to land.
The Succubus simply nodded, and then started beating her wings. At first it didn't look like they were going to be able to stop and that the ground might shallow them, but eventually the two started to slow. The raging giant below slowed its angry growth until it acted more like a curious dog come up to sniff their knees. Two step. Safe at least.
"There we go... Not so bad."

Adrian Jones  Adrian calmed down his screaming once Lily had called his name but the screaming picked right back up after he saw how close the ground was getting. Once Lily transformed he knew he'd have to put his trust in her. Adrian did his best to calm down and not struggle but he was still very scared for his life and the ground seemed to get bigger. Adrian closed his eyes and eventually felt his feet hit the ground, safe at last. Adrian was trembling slightly, his eyes still closed. "I think it may take me awhile to get used to that." He sighed loudly, trying to calm his nerves down. Adrian eventually opened his eyes, glad to be at ground level. "Sorry about my reaction Lily, I have never done anything like that. My first time flying was on the way to the school from Wales." He couldn't believe that had just happened today, he'd only been in Death City for less than a day and he already met a demon who is now his partner and seemed to be in some form of underworld.

With that the two would start their tour of the facility. They started in the meeting sector. "This is where people come to drink coffee and talk business. Yes, it's as boring as it sounds, but you will have free everything here now that you're my partner." She'd forgot to mention it.
"...I should tell you, I'm the boss here. Everything you saw on the way down? Mine. Are you sure you didn't pick me as a partner on purpose?" she giggled again and continued the tour. The hoverpads helped a lot. They were always floating around the center of the tower. The big glass construction held a strange, glowing column that ran straight up the middle of the behemoth like a spine.
"And now," she said as she moved the craft toward the glowing backbone, "we'll see the heart of this whole place. Aren't you excited!" Docking on a grated pad, the hoverpad powered down and let the two off. There were innumerable levels and interns, lackeys, lab guys, prospecting buyers and tourists zipping around the place on jetpacks and aircrafts. In the middle, around the tower, was a control panel, where some of the busier, snottier people hung about with clipboards set to stun. One seemed unlike the rest. Her name was Zoey.
"Zoey! Hey~!" Lilith waved from a few meters out.

Zoey watched workers as they went through their daily duties. Every few seconds she'd jot something onto her clipboard, check her watch and then repeated her task of watching. When she noticed even the tiniest flaw she would have it corrected almost immediately.
Upon hearing her partner call her name she turned on her heel, a smile on her face. "Hello Lilith." She glanced over her shoulder to check everything again before looking back. "What brings you here?" ℬecause it can change people

Adrian Jones Adrian followed behind Lily, sticking close but he soon realized that almost none of them showed any interest in him. "So I guess you never took time off in your 6000 years, how long did it take you to build this up?" He smiled, glad he was friends and even partners with such an amazing person. Adrian blinked, looking in the direction Lily was, spotting the blond haired girl who Lily called Zoey. He decided to stay quiet for now and let Lily do the talking, he did however give a small wave at Zoey's direction.

"Zoey this is Adrian, he's a new partner here. He's got the right stuff. "Adrian, this is Zoey, she's the partner I met before you. She's been doing this for a few months now, so if you have any questions about anything, ask her."
"Well then! I think this calls for a little celebration. But first..." Lilith walked over to the giant column of ectoplasm and put her hand on the glass. A soft glow filed in soul by soul to greet the hand with a longing that was almost painful to watch, and yet it was so beautiful.
"This, Adrian, is where we keep souls. You see, souls are valuable to a lot of people, and we like to help people here. We give them a place where they can get as many souls as they want--for a price of course--and help those wanting to make a little money selling souls too. You'll note that none of these souls are very clear or light in color, and neither are there any that are exceptionally dark; these are regular old souls, which we get the old fashioned way. We don't kill if we can help it, and some of these actually get traded in by the owner... I hope this isn't too much for you to handle."
"Here, I'll show you how much these souls can help the world." Lilith snapped her fingers and called a name which was incomprehensible to everyone present. One of the souls shot up from the lower quartile of the stem and to a special bubble on the side of one of the platforms. Lilith said a few more arcane words as a big vat of clay began shaking. Within a moment it coughed up some clay, enough to make a body, and the soul rushed to pour itself into the new shell.
"Wake up." She clapped once and the new girl sprung to life.
"Hi!" she said cheerfully.
"Good morning, Amanda. And how are you today?"
"Oh, I'm good... Slept in a little. How can I help you today?"
"Before you do anything like that, what do you do normally?"
"I'm sorry, ma'am, I don't under--"
"If I don't give you any orders, what do you do?"
"Ohh! That's easy. I work to maintain balance. Especially as far as souls are concerned."
"Good girl. Now, off you go."
"Oh, can I stay up."
"Of course, go do what you're meant to do." She made sure to explain what had just happened to Adrian. This was old news to Zoey.
"Adrian, if you really want to help people this is the right place to do it. We do all the things Death pretends to do, If you're with us, you can do just what Illo said you could do and really make a difference. And of course, you'll still be affiliated with the school... You'll just live like a king and help change the world for the better."

Adrian Jones Adrian nodded. "I see, Hello Zoey." He was slowly learning to just kind of accept the things around him and while inside he did feel a bit weird he didn't want to be annoying with his fear and questions. Adrian watched Lily as she used the souls and explained what it was and what she did. "I-I see. Umm, I would like to opt out of killing always. I know you said 'If we can't help it' but I do not think I could do that ever..." He watched as she created a girl out of clay and souls. Adrian was feeling his body becoming tired. He let out a yawn purely out of exhaustion. "I-I see, that sounds nice. King ... I'm just a kid, hehe." Adrian was starting to believe he was actually becoming delirious, how could any of this be real? He rubbed his eyes and yawned again. "Do kings have beds? I don't to be rude, I am just, so very tired."

"Right this way." Lilith would guild Adrian down a complicated series of corridors and elevators to a room titled "Master Suite." Here there was everything one could imagine in a room. Jacuzzi, surround sound, a pit with pillow lining it under a 360 HD screen, mini fridge, mini bar, macro kitchen, macro bed, it had everything.
"Well, here we are. Don't worry, there's a good view too." Lilith opened the curtains to reveal a wall sized window which overlooked the entire eastern half of the city. "This is your room. I hope it's enough for you."
"Remember, you're the boss now. When you wake up tomorrow, just press that button," she pointed to a little intercom hanging near the bed, "and someone will come right away to get whatever you want." Then Lilith winked to the boy.
"You'll get used to it, no worries. Night-night~"
Later...
"Zoey, I really am impressed. You're really getting the hang of things here. How has everything been since I've been gone?" She was walking Zoey down to a coffee shop near the core. She like all three things, the core, coffee, and Zoey, so she wanted to stay close to all of them at the same time if she could, drinking in the conversation and energy abundant.
"...So how 'bout that Adrian?"

Adrian Jones On a normal day Adrian would have been very impressed and would have explored and enjoyed the room. Instead he found the most comfortable clothes he could, turned off all the lights, laid down, and fell asleep on the bed. ((OOC: Maybe I should take this chance to make a meister again, we'll see, lol ))

Adrian Jones Adrian groaned as he woke up, rubbing his eyes. He sat himself up and yawned. Adrian looked around the room and put his head in his hands, it wasn't a dream, none of it was. He remembered the words Lily said to him and looked over at the intercom she told him about. Adrian shook his head and got out of bed, walking over to the mini bar. He looked for some water, ignoring all the alcohol. He couldn't find any so he searched the mini fridge as well. "Mhh, there it is." Adrian grabbed a water bottle and took a drink. "I wonder if there's an extra tooth brush..." He sighed and walked over to the intercom. After awhile he pressed the button, waiting to see if there would be a response.

 After a little of waiting, just enough to start to really worry, the door of the suite opened. Out came a girl who looked like she belonged in a sappy romance manga. But she had the key... She must be legit! Yes, this girl was Adrian's salvation! "Hello~!" It must be a common greeting among these people. "How did you sleep, sir? The mistress has said that you might need a little time to adjust to the life here... But don't worry! She has also told me that the new czar is also quite capable!" This girl, unlike Lilith in most instances in recent memory, moved in a different way: driven from kindness and warmth first, in turn driven business in a soothing way over the reverse which Adrian no doubt had had quite enough of by, if only on a subconscious level.
"Well," said the help sitting down on the edge of the weapon's bed, "the day is yours. We will go where ever you want."

Adrian Jones Adrian was surprised when the door opened but smiled at the girl. "Hello, oh, I guess she's right." He watched and listened to her, nodding at what she said. "I see, umm, I was just hoping I could get a toothbrush." Adrian wondered where Lily was. "Oh, umm, also. Do you have the time? Or umm, do you know what time it is in Death City?" Adrian yawned again, deciding to stretch a bit. "I'm sorry, I just woke up. I'm Adrian by the way, what's your name?" He rubbed his eyes, wiping them on his pj's.

Breanna smiled, even laughed a little, at seeing the boy really was like Lilith had said.
"But of course," said the servile girl as she glided across the carpet to find a place labeled "guests" to find the toiletries.
"Here you are, Adrian. If you must call me by a name... Breanna." She really wasn't used to this type of treatment, human that is, with the names instead of numbers and so on. Not that any of that was Lilith's fault. It was easier to work with numbers, especially since each incarnation warranted a new name.
"In Death City it is precisely 11: 47... Would you care to see the paper?" Standard procedure, really.
