(79=success! Rolling for Taming...)
Serenia was stunning in the sunlit autumn afternoon. It was a cloudless day, and the turning leaves of the Serenian forests – already a glowing gold naturally – were maturing into deep, translucent ambers and reds before falling to the ground in musty piles, perfect for children of all kinds to play in.
The beauty was lost on Naita's stomach. What did she care about the rustling piles and chilled air? All she wanted was food. Company to share it with would be nice as well, but Naita was desperate enough that she would settle for just food.
There!
It was a ghargon carcass, surrounded by a small family of Serenian Hastar – meat, without much effort: perfect for today. She dived down, falling like a stone upon them, roaring loudly and spewing a decorative gout of flame as she did so.
She laughed as the hastar scattered and she circled in for a proper, non-suicidal landing. ”Yeah!” she called after them, though they had retreated into the brush, ”Don't wanna mess with me, do ya?! Huh?” she did a little dance, taunting them. ”That's what I thought.” she said smugly, turning to the carcass and proceeding to stuff her face with meat.
The truth was, she probably could not have taken on the whole herd of hastar – ferocious clawed beasts that they were – and they were probably too far away to hear her taunts anyway.
But her ego was sated and, soon enough, so was her hunger. She sat back from the now much-slimmer carcass and licked her chops, pleased. ”Now that...” she said to no one at all, ”Was good.” She settled down to rest and digest, stretching out under the soft golden canopy and wondering just what to do next.
“Baaaaaa!”
She blinked her fuschia eyes and looked, puzzled, around her, her eyes meeting the dark, empty eyes of a strange, fluffy creature. “Baaaa!” it said again, nosing its way to a stand of fresh green grass. Naita watched it as it began to munch, carelessly, away.
”Well.” said Naita, amused, ”Hello there!”

(Successful Taming! Training is impossible.)
It was an odd, tasty looking thing, but as Naita watched it, she felt full enough to let it meander through the meadow. It was very fluffy, and watching it she wondered what it would be like to nuzzle into it's puffy fur. ”Hey...” she cooed, ”Come a little closer...”
It ignored her, staring at her briefly with his dark eyes before returning to the grass. It looked so soft and warm and...
Cute.
Naita made a purring sound deep in her throat – it was very cute. It began to meander to the other side of the meadow, and she realized she didn't want it to go away – if it left, it would leave her all alone, and she did not want to be alone. ”Hold up!” she said, standing up and pacing awkwardly towards it, ”Don't go!” She sat next to it as it looked up at her mildly, chewing. ”Stay with me?”
She gave it a nudge back to the center of the meadow and it bleated unhappily. ”Please?” she gently lowered her nose to it's fluff, poking at it. An idiotic grin came over her face: it was so light and squishy and fluffy. She poked it again with her nose, and it bleated in protest. ”Awww...” it was just so cute! She nuzzled it again, huddling it close to her. ”I'm going to keep you... but what to name you?” she hesitated, ”Fluffy? Too common... Whitey? Really stupid... hmmm...” she huffed, ”This is hard! You kind of look like one so maybe... cloud?” she bared her teeth, ”Auuugh! Why is it so hard to come up with a name.” she looked down at the now very nervous Leklan. ”Well, any suggestions?”
“Baaaa!” it said, trying to move away. ”Hey!” she said, scooping it closer, ”That could work. Lets try 'Baabaa' out for a while and see if that works.” she bowed her head playfully, ”Nice to meet you, matey!”
