I wanted to make sure the rules of this guild were gotten down, for any of you who wished to take a part in it's splendor.
The Captain (Myself) And any Vice Captains may add any rules they feel is appropriate for this guild.
1. No txt talk, I lose my mind when I'm forced to endure this, so please try to post at least a couple sentences, if you cannot force an entire paragraph out. Even I have trouble forcing paragraphs out most of the time.
2. Treat the Vice Captains and Myself with RESPECT, the same goes for your fellow role players, no one will be treated badly here, and if I catch someone trying to ruin the experience for someone else It will be dealt with.
3. Be Active! This rule is highly important to me as I do not wish to see this guild die, like I've seen with so many others. I understand everyone may have lives, but I would like it if you tried to be as active as you possibly can.
4. If you have ideas for something you would like to try please message either Myself or one of the Vice captains, and we will discuss it before getting back to you.
5. Do not God Mod! If I catch someone trying to god mod you will get a warning, but if you do it again I will remove you from the guild for not listening. No meta gaming, or Auto Hitting/Dodging either. It ties into god mod.
6. Try to have decent grammar, I can understand if English is not your first language, or if you are tired and are not paying attention to your grammar, trust me it happens to the best of us. I would just like you to do your best with your grammar in your posts.
7. Have fun, that's one of the main reasons this guild exists. Other than to suit my twisted mind.
8. Follow Gaia TOS.
ALL ADDITIONAL RULES OR FURTHER EXPLANATIONS WILL BE ADDED AS NEW POSTS SO THERE WILL BE NO EXCUSES AS TO WHY NO ONE NOTICED. CHECK BACK OFTEN.

In Editing Rule 5 by adding on a few more things.
Note: I am rewriting the original rule below.
5: Do not God Mod! If I catch someone trying to god mod you will get a warning, but if you do it again, I will remove you from the guild for not listening. To go along with the no god modding rule, there is also to be NO META GAMING, no AUTO-HITTING and there is no way that you'll never be hit, so no constant dodging and never letting a hit land. Sorry but no one is invincible, If the other person has given you permission to do any of these things that's fine, but otherwise it will once again be one warning, and then you're out.
Descriptions:
- Meta Gaming: When a character or person knows something they shouldn't know or have never been told. This usually includes that they do something, say something, or react to whatever it is they don't know and SHOULDN'T know.
- Auto-Hitting: When someone writes in their post or whatever that they hit another person without giving them or anyone else a chance to react and either actually get hit or dodge or whatever else it might be that actually happens. An example of that would be this.
(Kyren grinned, his eyes sparking with malicious intent as he chuckled, the sound low, and filled with bitter contempt. There was no hesitation, no warnings as he was suddenly moving forward, pushing towards the other with full intentions of showing him the error of his ways. As he grew closer he leaped into the air and pushed his weight to the side, bringing a leg up and around so that it collided with the others head. He knew there was no chance that the person could dodge it. He wasn't quick enough to keep up with his movements after all, and as he landed carefully from the attack, he turned to see the male crash into the wall opposite him, and slip to the ground. It was a useless fight to begin with.)
^ That, perhaps was a little more direct than some people would do, but that is a good example of what NOT to do. You do not say that your person was able to just hit them and you definitely DO NOT SAY EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM AFTER. That isn't your character and you have no right to assume that your attempts are going to be successful.
The last thing on this should be obvious too. Just like people aren't permitted to auto hit, they also aren't permitted to never be hit. No one here is invincible, not even the gang leaders or anyone in the military force, and therefore neither are you. It's okay if you had it planned out that the person wouldn't be able to hit your character but it's not okay if you just assume it's alright that you're never hit. Everything here has to be agreed upon.
An Additional explanation to rule 8:
Rule 8: FOLLOW THE GAIA TOS AND TRY TO KEEP THIS RP PG-13 or something around there! Romance is okay, just try and keep it limited in the guild. You know what the line is that needs to be drawn, don't act like you don't. With violence and gore, they are both allowed, violence more than gore but none the less keep it reasonable. This has the potential to become a brutal sort of role-play but we really don't need guts hanging out or anything like that, at least, not in deep detail please and thanks.

A quick additional rule.
Rule 9: When trying to get a position in a gang or when trying to have a character in one of the gangs, please quote the vice captain who has the leader character for it and wait to be told whether you are accepted or not. Do not post until you have been given the go ahead please. If it makes it easier on you please send the profiles to the appropriate vice captain through pm and wait for them to accept it through there. Thank you.
Also, when trying to make a civilian character you may quote any of the vice captains in order to get them accepted, or if it makes it easier on you send the profile to them through pm.

Update on Rule 9 PLEASE KEEP IN MIND YOU MUST LET PEOPLE KNOW IF YOU ARE MAKING A CHARACTER FOR THEIR CITY AS WELL AS IF YOU ARE MAKING ONE FOR THEIR GANG.
IF YOU ARE MAKING CHARACTERS FOR A GANG DO NOT START MAKING ONE WITHOUT CHECKING IN ON WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THAT GANG, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE UNSURE. EACH GANG HAS A SPECIFIC RACE TYPE REQUIREMENT THAT YOU MUST FOLLOW!
If you are not sure if your race idea will be accepted, ask the leader of THAT GANG not any other vice captain or the captain unless it's her gang. If the leader of that particular gang asks you to do something specific, i.e Send them your profile before posting it up, then listen to them, they are the boss for their gang and city, not listening is breaking the rules.
Although the military is not technically a gang the rules still go for this as well, along with it's city. Below I will list the people in charge of certain cities.
PLEASE QUOTE THEM IN OOC ASKING FOR POSITIONS! QUOTE THEM IN OOC ABOUT WANTING CIVILIAN CHARACTERS!
It makes it easier on everyone because that way they know a person isn't just making a character without the permission of the other person. And if that person is not available you may be able to get help from others.

If you have any intentions of joining the militia group that is forming in Hinas you must quote me in OOC. There is a limited amount of spaces available. It has not formed yet however. IF you have question to ask about it quote us in the ooc. That is the purpose of the ooc, to communicate with others in the guild. Please use it.

PG- 13 EXPLANATION
Following the gaia Tos is a given, unfortunately they dont have an official guideline as to what those expectations are, in terms of pg-13, with the assumption that we all know. I'd like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt that we do, but in case we dont we're going to give you what our expectations are.
First I need you to imagine the most pg-13 movie with both gore and romance. If you can't think of one then think the Twilight Saga. Now that you have that in your head, lets continue.
Alright, we are fine with romance, it happens and things get steamy. We'd like you to keep these particular scenes limited, but incase you want to go there here is a small checklist on what you can do:
- mentioning of the chest (for females still only use chest), butt, but nothing in the lower front
- Kissing/biting but limited to upper body only (no nips though)
-Removal of shirt
- hands moving to ambitious areas ex: his/her hand wandered further down. (where exactly? They could be picking up a phone for all I know. Which is the point.)
- Non descriptive grinding (mention the verb but not what's being grinded on)
That's it, and from there fade it to black and pick up after the event happened. Though, to avoid any loop holes to this or any lingering on this, we ask that you keep it to a reasonably sized paragraph which is roughly 100-150 words or span it over a max of 6 posts from each person if its more of a make out session/gets interrupted.Conveniently the next paragraph and this one gives an idea on what 100-150 looks like. You are free to move it off gaia and go to skype, email, google docs, maybe you write a fic. However you do it we dont care. Keep it completely off gaia to avoid being banned.
As for gore, we understand this had the potential to get really violent, really fast. So, remember in middle school or perhaps a creative writing class that you were told to show not tell to the point it was like you were almost there? Completely forget that rule with gore, even then we don't want to know the exact anatomy that was ripped out or how. We also dont need to know the finer details of how it all felt or the sounds it made either. On top of that, this mess shouldn't stay around for more than five posts give or take depending on where they are. That person better be dead or have sought out some medical or makeshift medical help for it to stop being mentioned. This isn't The Walking Dead or the Game of Thrones, it's Twilight.
Fail to follow this and we will erase your post completely. Consider yourself lucky if we just erase where it starts and stops. If you ever find yourself asking "Is this to much or to far?" even after looking at this post. Then don't write it at all and find a different way to go about it.

Rule 10: Character Limit
Okay so this rule needed to be added. Not because we were afraid other people might make a bunch of characters, (Cause I mean, if you can bring some interesting characters to the table, by all means, do so. We would LOVE to see them. Trust me ~) but rather because of us Vice Captain's and the Captain, who, in all honestly, need to chill.
While Raven and I are the most guilty on this, we feel we should start to limit how many characters anyone can make because if not, who knows how much we will flood this place. (it doesn't help that so far we've turned this rp into a serious sausage fest, oh dear ~) Some more diversity would be nice, and with the way we make characters, I am not so sure that's going to happen. Especially when I myself hold preference over making male characters. As...anyone who has seen my page can probably tell. Heh. Guilty.
Anyways onward with the rule! Now I would make the limit smaller but I feel it would be unfair if I dropped the limit below the amount of characters the person with the most has in this rp. That person being Raven. Therefore the limit is now a whopping 16 characters.
That's right. You can have up to 16 characters in this rp, IF you can handle them all. Don't make more than you can!
Also I'm not sure if i stated this in the rules or not but starting off we would prefer to keep it at two characters permitted per gang, and two civilian's per in each city. The two per gang also includes the military. We don't want too many people taking up positions too quickly! Leave some space for others yeah? ~ For the military though we may let you request a third. The poor baby of ours could really use some love and attention.
