Username: Derpy Seviper Time Zone: CST List Three of your Strengths: I enjoy writing and I am a capable writer on top of that, I am able to think up unconventionally creative ideas when needed, and I am cooperative in group settings. List Three of your Weaknesses: I succumb to stress pretty easily, when things don't go smoothly I can get a little upset, and I struggle to self-motivate sometimes. Experience: I was a co-host for 3 years (being in the whimsical dream for the dream ball, the detective agency for the literature ball, and the beach birthday party for Queen Pisces in last years ball). Outside of the ball, I am an avid roleplayer and have been doing so for the past 6 years. How often are you online? I get online at least once every day. Explain one idea (game, plot, contest, other) that you have for this room: It's just an idea, but since the theme is "supernatural," what if the circus becomes cursed? Where, rather than the members acting strangely, the materials they use in their performances act wonky. For example, a trapeze wire sagging or snapping, the stilts for the stilt walkers constantly changing sizes, the balls a juggler would use just refusing to juggle. Then the plot would be trying to figure out why the circus is cursed and fixing the curse. Do you have any talents that you're willing to put into this room to make it the best room ever? Vyite knows this pretty well, but I can most certainly bring forth some great sassy remarks and really bad puns. But if need be, I can do character art.

I, Xeari the Great, wish to join the circus! Username: Xeari the Great Time Zone: PDT/PST List Three of your Strengths: I consider myself a decent writer. I’m inclusive (I’ve had frustrating experiences with roleplays being hard to “enter” because everyone is caught up with their own storylines. I’d be inclined to go out of my way to include and engage everyone in the roleplay.). I like to think I’m not that bad at art ._. List Three of your Weaknesses: I’m pretty socially awkward in real life, and that sometimes carries over into my online interactions (which I assume isn’t very pleasant for the other party). I don’t work very well without plans/organization. Lastly, I’m a bit of a procrastinator (which can stress out other people), but I still manage to get things done in time as long as there are set deadlines. Experience: I participated in the ball last year (although I was only really active the first day because by the time I came back the second day, the stories had progressed so much and my attempts at re-entering the roleplays failed Dx), and that’s as deep as my experience with AURB goes. I have been roleplaying on and off for the past 7 years or so (basically since my pubescent years lol). How often are you online? I essentially live on my computer--I only spend a lot of time on gaia, though, when I have a lot to do on the site. Lately, that hasn’t necessarily been the case, but I try to log in at least once a day (to collect dailies, check messages, etc). When life is particularly stressful (i.e. during exam seasons), my activity declines.That being said, I’ve recently developed an “idgaf” attitude towards life and barely study anymore, meaning the inactivity during these times is something I can easily overcome lol. No, I will make you suffer emotion_donotwant jkofcourse biggrin Explain one idea (game, plot, contest, other) that you have for this room: Mystery box (or picture, item, etc) game: We can have a “mystery box” (represented by a graphic designed by the art committee or something) containing an item related to circus/AURB/supernatural/gaia/etc. The item inside can be some random item (e.g. a clown car lol) or an actual gaia item. Every hour or so, we can give out a clue, and whoever guesses correctly first will receive the (relevant) gaia item. There could be a set amount of mystery boxes that will be opened each day. Also, it doesn’t have to be a box--perhaps it could be a small part of a large picture or an extremely blurred picture from which users have the guess the picture’s actual contents. The item awarded should be something relevant to the picture. <--Okay, not sure how well I articulated this; I hope I was clear gonk Do you have any talents that you're willing to put into this room to make it the best room ever? I do have some experience with art/graphics, a skill that could be useful in creating special art/graphics for room events. First off, thank you so much to everyone who applied! Vyite and I had such a hard time deciding, however, after a lot of consideration, we have made a decision.
Before I let you know who we have chosen, we would like to explain that this room had the most applicants out of all of the rooms this year. That being said, we wanted to make sure that rooms that did not have as many applications had enough co-hosts. This means that if you did not get chosen for this room, feel free to pursue a co-host position in another room! We won't take it personally!
