Junior stretched, popping joints in his lower back and shoulders. It'd been a rough night convincing his mother to let him take Soliel out after only just meeting her. He hadn't exactly been the best brother in the world, especially since she was already so old and he'd been the last one to meet the new girls. Mom had just about ripped him a new one for that. But, the demon figured it was a given since he'd been so absent.
Shaking that line of thought, he looked down to his littlest sister, wondering if he should have attempted to take Siofra too. But she was hanging from the ceiling and while he was convinced his parents weren't sane anymore, they seemed to insist on her staying right where she was. But that didn't matter much, he was going to visist a very pretty naiad and her daughter. Was it her daughter? That little girl looked so much like he did it wasn't even funny. A flash of concern managed to make its way into Junior's mind. Soliel might think this was her sister, or a cousin, or any relative really. Oh that would be hard to explain.
He winced, trying hard not to think about the consequinces of doing this. It was all for the little girl. Aysel looked so much like she wanted a daddy, and Junior was determined to at least help out with that a little. Even if only for a day. A nice mild temperature for it too. Not too hot, not too cold, and even a little moist. Surely it would be comfortable for Nereus too. Maybe he could teach his sister to swim while they were playing?
With a smile, Junior arrived at their meeting spot. "Ready to meet your new friend Soliel?" He asked, still holding the girl.

Snuggled against her brother, the little demon yawned sleepily as she held her blue demon plushie. Ever since her parents brought it to her, she was inseparable from it. After all, the plushie made a much better Princess Jollibee than her sticks. Of course she also had Princess Paz and Mr. Angryface in the sack Junior carried. She liked that Junior was quick to play with her. "Mmm...sweepy." Last night it had sounded so much fun, playing with another kid. But thinking about waking up at dawn and actually waking up then were two completely different things. OOC: Sooo....I suppose when the plushie comes to life, her name will be Jollibee. It's been decided. By a toddler. BIC: Nervous, nervous, nervous Nereus! The naiad flipped about the little niche she shared with Aysel. Was she forgetting anything? Medical salve in case they got hurt, fresh bass for lunch, their water bladder for re hydrating, and Aysels new naiad plushie she had gotten for her at the carnival. She bundled everything into her small net before swimming out. "Mama?" SHELLFISH! She forgot the baby! She flicked back into the dwelling to scoop the sleepy eyed sprite up. "Sorry my little tadpole. I'm a little scatterbrained at the moment." With a soft peck on her forehead, she quickly swam back out to the surface.
The transformation from water to land was always strange to her. A once powerful, singular tail splitting into two for a pair of soft, sort of awkward legs. Spending most of her time in the water meant she was much more efficient swimming than walking, but Aysel wasn't about to let her tail get in the way of her love for air. Perhaps her little yellow love would be different, and have stronger legs than tail? She was approaching the time when she'd be able to transform. At least, as a naiad she would be. Aysel wasn't precisely a naiad though. At the sound of water splashing, Soliel looked up sleepily. Instantly her once drowsy eyes were wide open. "It'sa fishy lady!"

Junior was content to let Soliel sleep in his arms until she was ready to get up and play. She was a sleepy little demon, and he had gotten her up really early that morning. Just because the house was nearby didn't mean it didn't take time to get to the river Nereus and Aysel would be at. Okay, it took a while to get there. Poor Sol was just a tired little kid. At least until Nereus started out of the water.
The yellow demon tried not to grin like a fool. He was way more than excited to pretend to be a dad for a day. It wasn't like he'd be doing this for the first time, he'd already raised four children. He just couldn't help himself though. Little ones like his sister or the strangely winged little naiad girl reminded him so very much like his own daughters.
"Morning." He smiled, unable to contain it any longer. Only then did he hear his sister squeak about it being a fishy lady. Junior laughed, "She's a naiad Soliel. This is Ms. Nereus. Can you say hi?" He gently chided her for blurting out about Nereus being a fishy lady. Yes, she was a fish, but she was also able to hear the little girl.

She smiled tentatively back at Juniors greeting, water dripping down her face and curves as she made her way to land. "Good Morning." The little demon in his hands suddenly yelled, clear as a bell, fishy lady. Her smile broadened slightly as she chuckled. "Well, you aren't entirely wrong. But it's like if I called you a bat."Naiad. Niighh...add. Funny. She thought to herself at Juniors explanation. When the fishy lady began talking however, her face scrunched up. She wasn't a bat! Ohhh...that made sense. "Hi Ms. Ner...Ner..." Her name was HARD! Wasn't exactly easy to shorten either. Her face remained scrunched in thought. "...Fishy lady."The naiad couldn't precisely find fault in the youngster for being unable to pronounce her name. As she walked up to the two, she held a hand out for the little demon. "Nice to meet you batgirl. This is Aysel." She spoke while looking down at her bundle of yellow."Yewo!" Aysel happily chimed in after her mom introduced her. She then thoughtfully looked at the aptly named 'batgirl'. Though Yewo had distinctly said her name before, she already forgot it with all the talk of bats and fish.

Junior shifted his weight, setting down the bag of toys so he could get Soliel closer to Nereus and Aysel. "At least be nice about it Sol, Ms. Fish Lady." He tried, always be polite. He was surprised Dad hadn't gotten to her yet. Or maybe Cressy had gotten to his youngest sister.
"Aysel!" The demon grinned, holding his now free hand out to the little winged naiad. "You're up bright and early this morning~ Did you sleep well?" He asked, still smiling.

Nice about it? She bet Cressida would have rolled her eyes at that. But Junior was currently her means of having a real play date with a kid her age, so she decided against parroting her older sister. The little girl shook Nereus' hand. "Nice to meetcha too Ms. Fishy Lady." But she was more interested in the yellow fish in her arms. Her brand new best friend. She just knew it! "Aysel. Hiii Aysel. Hi!" The female stuck out her plushie. "This is Princess Jollibee!"She nodded happily as she reached out and grabbed his hand. "Daddy!" The sprite looked at the demonic in his arms, the batgirl 'sol', and looked at the plushie. She had one too! She stuck out the orange naiad.Instantly Soliel gasped. "You have the PERFECT Mr. Angryface!" A second ticked by before she grasped however what Aysel said exactly. She looked up at her brother, a frown starting to sweep across her face. "Uh...Daddy?" Come to think of it, the yellow fish did look an awful lot like him.She was beyond pleased that Aysel had taken so much of a liking to Junior. That is of course, before she suddenly blurted out 'daddy'. "Just for today Aysel." She gently reminded the sprite. This was going to get confusing quickly.

"Well, it looks like they've got a friend now." He chuckled, trying to play down the feelings Aysel seemed to evoke by simply calling him Daddy. He never should have asked to do this. It was one of the stupidest ideas he'd ever had. Junior was almost positive that this was going to wrench his heart further apart when he would return to simply being... What would he be? A friend to the lovely women in front of him?
He shook his mind of the thought. Soliel did bring a good question to light. He hadn't explained any of it to his sister or his mother. Oh that was going to bite him in the rear later. Ugh. How to explain this to Sol though... He pondered this as quick as he could, trying to think what would be the least confusing and most acceptable answer if his parents asked what was going on. And then he had it. A genius answer that came straight from the family reunion. He'd just tell her he was playing a game, like she was with Jollibee and Mr. Angryface. "Soliel, you know how you like to play Princess Jollibee?" Junior waited for her acknowledgement. "I'm playing Daddy today." The demon smiled, he did look enough like their father he could get away with it. Though he had a lot of their mom in him too, he saw it every time he looked at his reflection in the waters.

"That's right." Nereus was quick to assist the yellow demon. Best they clear this up as soon as possible. "It's make believe." She listened closely to her brother, as she was thoroughly confused by the term Aysel had used. She nodded in acknowledgement about her playtime. What did that have to do with anything though? He continued, and her face twisted in deep thought. As her mind tried to work it out, smoke could practically be seen from her ears. "So...if you is Aysels Daddy, are you my daddy too?" She looked up at Nereus before pointing at her. "And you play mommy then?"This was a great idea! They play one big happy family together. She let out an excited squeal.

Junior couldn't deny Sol's logic. If they were going to pretend to be parents, it would make sense to let Sol in on the game too. "That's right Soliel." He grinned, "But you have to listen to us like we were Mom and Dad okay?" The male warned, being stern for just a moment. Soliel was a very well behaved girl, he was sure they wouldn't have any problems.
"So, are you ready to play with your sister?" He asked, back to grinning at his youngest sibling. Thank the guardians Soliel needed a friend her own age.

What a direct child. The naiad blinked at Soliel, unsure of what she should do or say. This was highly unorthodox, playing house with a stranger. Perhaps she should try having Aysel become friends with another pae...but the sprite was so shy it was hard getting her to connect with anyone. So once again she pushed aside her reservations and nodded. "But...I'm not sure where we should start."This was the biggest game of make believe she had ever done before, ever! At the chance to do so, she quickly nodded to what ever rules Junior had. Something about listening to them and being a good girl. But the fishy lady was so clueless! She had to educate her. "Weellll, since me 'n' Aysel are princesses, you're the King and Queen! So you should hafta sit over there on your throne." She turned her little body to point at a fallen tree. "Then me, 'n' Aysel, 'n' princess Jollibee 'n' princess Paz, will come out and dance for you!"Finally, a great big family. As Soliel started talking though, her pink eyes widened. Could that bat-girl think up of stuff or what! She clapped her hands excitedly in agreement. "Yes! And sing!" She sometimes tried to sing like her mommy. Maybe Yewo would like her singing too?

Junior smiled, "Sol likes playing house." He chuckled, setting his sister down. "Shall we, My Queen?" Junior bowed, holding his hand out to Nereus. "We have the best entertainment lined up for tonight, Princess Soliel is the best dancer in all the lands. Princess Aysel has the most charming singing voice your ears have ever beheld. Princess Jollibee's skills with the harp are unmatched, and Princess Paz's skills lie in accompanying Princess Aysel in dance." The demon listed off random attributes for the two plushies.
According to his littlest sister, Jollibee was the fairest of the land, and Paz was her sister. Mr. Angryface would come in at one point during the day and try to woo Jollibee. But first, to set Nereus and himself up on the fallen log that Soliel had indicated.

What a vivid imagination the little blue demon had! Looking at Juniors outstretched hand, she slowly set down Aysel with her orange plushie before taking it. "We shall, m'lord." Nereus couldn't help but giggle as the title slipped off her tongue. This was positively silly! "Sounds like we are in for quite a performance." She followed the male towards the fallen tree, a smile spreading on her face."That's right!" She agreed with her big brother, grabbing Princess Paz -the doll of sticks- from his pack before being sat down. As the two adults started walking to the tree, she scooted closer to Aysel. "Okay. Game plan. I am gonna go out first, dancing with Princess Paz. Then you come in singing your best song. Take Princess Jollibee to play harp with you." As she spoke she handed her blue demon plushie to the sprite.Oh how exciting! How nervous. But how exciting! She squealed in delight when Soliel handed over the plushie. What song was she going to sing though? Her face crinkled up as she tried to think of a good song Nereus had sung to her. Or maybe, maybe she could come up with her own! Yes. She could totally do that. She was the best song writer in the land!

He'd learned to just roll with it. Soliel was a creative little girl, Junior didn't want to squander it because he wasn't sure what to play. Besides, when in doubt, let the kids decide. "Today will be most enjoyable. After the entertainment, we've got a fine meal planned. Only the best chefs in all the land to prepare our daughters meals." Junior's tone had turned regal, praising whatever it was that the two of them would do for the rest of the day. He was, after all, pretending just as much as his little sister was. It wouldn't matter how much he wished it to be the real deal, though he could do without the royalty part. Never quite seemed his cup of tea.
"Very well Princess Soliel, We should like to see your dance first." He clapped, relaxing in his seat next to Nereus.

She giggled a little more as she nodded before sitting down on the log. "Sounds divine. We really have raised two splendid daughters." It really was best to let the children do as they pleased. After all, Aysels beaming face made it all worth it to her. She held her hands up to clap twice. "Yes, yes. Bring out Princess Soliel!""That's my cue!" She whispered before running forward to the 'stage'. At least, in her mind it was. The demon held her arms wide, one hand holding the sticks known as Princess Paz. "This is, Dance of the Perfect n Wonderful Princess!" With that, she jumped to life. She jumped and twirled and pranced around in no real particular pattern or rhythm to music she only had in her head. When Soliel ran out to her dance, it meant that she was soon to follow. She took a deep breath, and started waddling over to where her 'sister' pranced. Her lower half was still a tail after all, which lead her to dragging it along. But she was used to it by now. As she got close, the female cleared her throat as she took a hand to start moving Princess Jollibee's hand. Strumming her 'harp'.
"I...ike...suwar n weets n all tings tweats. Own in my wader hoooommmme! But I've gots a seeeecwwwwweeeet! I'm reawey....SUPAH AWESUM SPACE GIRLLLLL SUPAH AWESUM SPACE GIRRRRLLL! Junior smiled, clapping for each of the girls when they performed. And of course, he had to complete the image of them being the king and the queen. While they watched the girls perform, Junior's arm had managed to snake it's way around Nereus' shoulders to rest on the tree behind it. It made for an almost intimate scene, one that he was sure the girls would take as them playing a good game of house.
"What delightful entertainment!" He called once it was all over. There was only so much they could do at a time after all. And their performances took up a good bit of the morning. Surely it was about time the girls had something to eat. "Are you ready for lunch My Dear Queen?"
