 Diesel was almost downright depressed. He'd been on a big slump and he wasn't sure he could get out of it. But spotting someone who'd defeated him before he narrowed his eyes and dove down, wanting to rectify that matter badly. He swooped in to try and bowl the squirrel over. HP: 20

 HP: 16 With a squeak of pain and alarm Wilhelm was sent rolling across the ground. Hopping to his feet he blinked at Diesel. "Oh dear.... you again?" He asked as he swung his shovel scythe off his back and made a slashing attack at him.

All the squirrel would get as Diesel landed and turned to his opponent, was a quick nod of assent. There was no look of anger or malice, just steely resolution as the cursed warrior pivoted, taking a moderate slash as he brought his own weapon around for a slash of his own at the squirrel's chest. HP: 18

Wilhelm winced as he received a deep cut across his chest. He shifted his grip on his weapon and tried to jab Diesel in the stomach with the blunt head.

Diesel was already bringing his weapon up in an arc to prepare for another attack when he caught the blunt part in the stomach, and he grunted, wincing, but didn't stop, bringing his own weapon's non-scythe end down upon Wil's head.

Wilhelm's eyes crossed and he actually fell back on his a** as he was stunned. The squirrel sat there a moment, then with a flick of his wrists he tried to sweep Diesel's footing out from under him with his weapon.

Diesel leapt over the slice, wings aiding him, and he aims a leap kick at Wil's chin as he does so.

Sitting as he was there wasn't much of a chance of Wil avoiding the kick. His head snapped back and he groaned in pain. The squirrel rolled to his feet and attempted to slash Diesel once more.

Diesel took a deep slash across his chest as he landed from the kick, but wasn't about to back down. He grimaced and swung his own weapon diagonally at Wil, from shoulder to opposite hip.

Wilhelm had managed to get enough of his breath back to push out of the way of the slash, though only barely. Without stopping to dwell on how bad his cuts currently hurt, he swung the flat end of the shovel at Diesel as hard as he could.

Diesel brought his weapon up to block Wil's shovel, though the force of it made his arms tingle a bit. He made to pop Wil's weapon upwards, so he could get room spear his own weapon into the squirrel's stomach.

With a squeak of pain Wil doubled over the weapon that stabbed him. He coughed a bit of blood and his tail drooped as he tried one more time to clock Diesel with the shovel end of his weapon.

Diesel's expression had not changed most of this fight, when he wasn't wincing from a hit anyway. His face was the same mask of resolution as he once more moved to block the shovel with his weapon, and freeing one hand from his scythe, used it to try and punch Wil hard in the face.

With a hard crack Wil's nose broke. The squirrel fell to the ground and instantly curled into a bleeding ball of fluffy pain. his tail wrapped around his head and down his back as if to hide him from his foe.
