THIS RP CONTAINS: Carneli- Zia/Zircona Ivynian- Thraen Ryuthulhu- Kairatos LizzyMoo- Iris & ********* following Forging on"They're pretty easy. Polaris live with Niflhel last time I checked there and Iris lives with ********* and Camelot hangs by the library and he lives with Shallot and I think maybe Chaonis I dunno and I don't know where Castor lives or even what his civilian name is but you know he hasn't been back in town very long and someone told me Chronos moved out of town and--," Zia was babbling on, powered down as soon as they were back down on earth.
Tonight was not a night for aura fishing, she did not want interruptions. They had found something big and now they were on a mission.
"Come on, it's this way!" She squawked, grabbing his wrist before they started running.
Zirconia's creepy little lair carved out from a storage structure on an unincorporated property that had its development ceased with the economy crashed and never resumed was still intact. It had been neglected. The days when she spent long nights there in an est of blankets meticulously going over her notes and files and hoarded documents were past, but it was still a place where she kept things she either didn't want or didn't have room for in the penthouse apartment she shared with Xanthus.
The corrugated metal walls were lined with boxes and book shelves, but she went for a desk drawer and pulled out a box. An unassuming wood box that needed a key, but as she was fiddling with her key ring, something inside started banging around and warbling with a high, mechanical tone.
"Shut up," She hissed to it just before opening the lid. A familiar ball shot out and needed to be caught before she frantically started pushing the button camouflaged as its nose.
"*********!" She nearly screeched. "Nn-- g- th--... I need Iris, we gotta go to the moon!"
Now that her mind was clearer, being back on earth, the weight of what was found up in the moon palace had finally sunk in, and it was preventing her from using proper words and complete sentences. Most of what Zia vocalized after this point was incoherent babble.

All the ********* Pi let out was a familiar voice.
"Roger that! Meet up at the Park!"
___________________
********* honestly had no idea when she had been contacted by Zia that Ellie had company over. So when she was at the park, the manx cat was perched upon the shoulder of Kairatos rather than Sailor Iris.
********* had been accused of being too fat for Iris' shoulder again.
"I don't really see why goin' t'the moon is so important tonight..." the blonde senshi grumbled as she remained at a lamppost, arms crossed as she leaned against the pole.

"I dunno, whats at the moon? I haven't been." Kairatos shrugged. The moon, and its relics, were still a mystery to him at this juncture, but he'd gathered that there was something exciting there. He reached up to pat ********* gently, not finding her too fat for his shoulders at least. Of course he minded the cat considerably less than her Princess attested to. "I would ask what the worst is that could happen, but I'm sure you have some examples."

Well, at least if he ever needed to, he had a vague idea of how to maybe locate other Highly Powered Individuals- he knew where the main metropolitan branch of the Library was, and he had met Niflhel thanks to the Ferry. The prospect of needing to was a gutwrencher- even if for purifications. Every glimpse, every sniff of a General Sovereign, a Mirror Royal, or a White Moon Royal signified that whatever was going down was going to be a SNAFU for everyone involved (other likewise individuals included.) With any luck this will be fast and painless since its Zirconia. Not that there's any telling if that is a plus or minus in anyone's book for helping play with scream-silent Mirrors on the Moon. Woah- Being dragged along was a new experience. At least running to follow and keep up was easy enough. The facility she led to was more of a sociopath's end of the world bunker than he was expecting our of any Mauvian, let alone one with bangles. The cat-ball was just terrifying. Its appearance, and Zia's explosion at it got him to back a step towards the door. Whaaaaaaat IS that thing? And then there was an answer from *********. "What an odd...gruesome little device, " it was ostensibly a communicator of some sort. Why make it so The French Terror Meets Children's Play Ball? After that, it was to the park and ineffectually trying to keep Zia from either exploding in puddle of babble pudding, energy, or yanking his arm out of socket. "Iris is the easiest to contact, I take it?" Of course. It would be Iris. Other options abound, but Iris has to be the princess du jour.

"Isn't it awful?" Zia had nothing but agreement for the blight on her life that was the *********. Ever since it had become attuned to her it was a constant annoyance and occasional identity borking danger as the levitating, warbling caricature of ********* had shown a willingness to fly through the atmosphere of Destiny City just to bounce against her skull.
"It's a direct line to Iris' cat, though," She clarified. "And Iris is a grumpy and unpleasant creature, but I don't know if Camelot would work since he's a knight and the other two would take too long."
She had found her language skills on the way to the park and seemed to find some modicum of normalcy in speech.
Approaching Iris and her companions at the meeting place, she shoved her hands in her sweater pockets and beamed a smile that seemed to emanate some degree of mischief. There was little love between Zia and Iris, but the temper that the princess of rainbows sported made prodding her anger an indulgent past time.
"Buddy! Pal," She cooed and rolled on her heels before offering Kairatos and ********* a genuine and quick greeting.
"There's something on the moon, but it's grumpy and wants a royal. You up for princess power tonight?"

If Iris had been grumpy before, her grump meter was now off the charts with the presence of Zia and the accompanying senshi as well.
She didn't even bother to hide her annoyance.
"................why th'f*ck is that d**k here?"
"Iris!!!" the cat scolded openly from the knight's shoulder. Turning back and offering as best a smile she could (though there seemed to be a hint of embarrassment to the expression), the manx greeted "It is a pleasure to see you both, Zia, and Thraen! If I were to guess... the answer to Iris' question is that Thraen was Zia's escort to the moon?"
Iris didn't even budge from her grumping position. "...this is the moment where ya tell me what th'f*ck this something on th'moon is... last I checked it was just ruins t'the Silver Millennium..."
Granted, her information may have been a bit dated since she only really checked up on the Moon immediately after that ambushed meeting held by Polaris.

"Well if it's just ruins that means it... probably... doesn't have fangs..." Kairatos suggested, only half joking he reached as though he were considering patting Iris in an attempt to calm her down, then decided pat ********* again instead.
"Can we at least find out what the thing is? I haven't been to the moon yet, and the other options for royals are pretty short."
He hadn't seen the others he'd heard mentioned, other than... well... the one he didn't want to be within sight of.
"C'mon. Are you at least curious?"

Name-calling and swearing by way of greeting- more than half a year later and she remains perspicacious as ever. I wonder if it is just last December's run in with each other, or if ********* informed her that I was the civilian with Bischofite. It matters little in the end. Where we stand with each other is quite clear."*********. Iris." 'The Roman one, as you call him - Kairatos' "Knight of ...Mars- We haven't formally met. Thraen of Gardens." "********* is correct. I was the ride up." More was pointless to relay. With a greeting like the one already turned at him, his two cents on just about anything could only hinder rather than help. He did look over to the wedgie-c**-woman, curious if she was going to rely on curiosity as the pure draw for getting Iris to play ball or if she as actually going to spit out 'there is a mirror there and we want you to muck around with it'. With Iris, he wouldn't predict telling her later when they were staring at it to be more likely to get her to do anything with it than telling her in the park. The difference was just if she refused later they'd have also wasted the energy and time of getting there. If anything was certain, the pretty princess was well-versed in refusing what she didn't deign in her personal repertoire without rational reason relayed.

"Thraen has been lovely company, chauffeuring me around," Zia said with a dramatic presentation gesture. "And Kairatos is correct, it doesn't have fangs."
She folded her arms behind her back and rolled on her heels innocently as she paused, trying to think of the correct way to present what she wanted without sounding like doomsday.
"Paths to parallel universes rarely have fangs. I'll explain more once we're up, there's no time to waste," And she powered up at her urging.
---
"There's only limited time moon travel is possible, right?" She asked, as if it was to confirm her last statement about the lack of time. "It's a relic, I think. I think it meant something during a previous excursion, maybe a previous timeline, I'm not sure, there's just this big fat darkness in Zirconia's memories. It had something to do with dreams. A circus? Well now I'm just babbling," She waved everything off with a flick of her hand. "It's down this hallway here."
She lacked the daze in which she had pursued the Black Mirror-- or at least its twin-- and it's call. Now she simply walked with a self assured strut down what was at one point a forbidden hallway in the palace.
LizzyMoo Sorrrryyyyy trying to kind of nudge this along.

Zia's power up and casual explanations did nothing to ease Iris' suspicions. Though she was easily able to follow up to the moon with her own Moon Pearl, assisting Kairatos and ********* tag along. However, her expression never softened from the wide flat line that formed her mouth.
"...you sound like a lunatic..." she grumbled, arms still crossed as the eternal senshi stalked forward, following along while still trailing towards the back of the group.
"I am pretty certain anybody who is associates with talking cats comes across as a lunatic these days..." the manx commented from Kairatos' shoulder. Where as Iris seemed to be absolutely focused on being infuriated with the whole situation, ********* eyes were dancing about the hallway, taking in all the details. It truly was a glorious palace!
Despite enjoying all the eye candy surrounding her, the manx was still able to remain focused enough to ask about certain business.
"So would it be a stretch to say that you have not seen this relic yet yourself, but you are relying on Zirconia's memories about this relic?"

"Ok I think we got the point, you don't like Zia." Kairatos sighed. He was trying to enjoy the scenery, which, while dead like his own wonder, was still... it was a entirely different animal. "She doesn't sound like a lunatic." He added, with a hint of annoyance. He liked both women as friends, and his patience for listening to people fight was a bit thin after dealing with Castor and Pollux. "I've heard my share." The talk about gateways to a parallel world sounded interesting though. "Do you mean like.. Zirconia's parallel world or is this a whole new... I don't know." What would even happen if there were another parallel? Was there a world where Senshi were born of chaos and the negaverse was Order? He had no idea, though late night television provided plenty of fodder for the imagination... though a lot of it drifted back toward that pile of tortured bodies. Had Zia really found a way back to her own place? Maybe it had... he didn't know... something to help. Even if it was more 'true' parallel souls like Zirconia. He didn't know how he'd cope if one of them tried moving into his head (could you even stop it if one tried?) but if it would help them stop Castor and push back Chaos, he imagined there were those who would put up with a hell of a lot. Hell Babylon had done it... sort of... in the most insane, suicidal, chain-of-bad-ideas-possible.

"Related to Zirconia's, " seemed to be the answer since she'd been able to hear it and mentioned memories specifically related to it. "She could hear it, and this path seems opened to her. What the key is to other paths inside the castle proper, whether people or items, is probably still in the air. But its a start. At least we know it can be done. " "And seeing what, if anything can be done with the artifact would also be a feather into the cap of having a better grasp or history, the universe and all things going on. " "Have either of you had much experience with the Mirror or the Dark Mirror? I haven't, so have little expectation of either magic- embodied in person or artifact. " It was posed to both ********* and Kairatos, Iris if she felt like having it address her, as they traveled the paths to final looming of the mirror.

"Truly, you are a ray of sunshine on this bleak fall night, Iris, precious," Zia cooed as she walked, hands folded behind her back.
"It's my belief, and this is just a theory since I haven't seen the Black Mirror supposedly resting in mirrorspace, that this might be the um. The original, so to speak. That this was how we came to this universe before. I mean-- they. Them, Parallel souls. I'm not Zirconia," The girl in the Mauvian body coughed awkwardly.
"Their purified incarnation in which they joined the war this go round was something often lauded as a second chance, from before. Unfortunately Nehelenia would be the one to ask about that, as Zirconia had died before the timeline shift and doesn't remember much of... anything. When she does it's just flashes of fragmented images that don't make sense, but it was Chaos, and it's one of the reasons she rejected Ares' offers back before I got control over the body back.
"She doesn't remember the whole story, but she was aware it brought nothing but suffering and death to her, and that to waste the second chance brought on by purification would be foolishness. The answer to suffering is not to increase your suffering, being the general idea behind the fact I am not currently chasing catnip in a Dark Mirror's home as their sworn mauvian."
She gave a bit of an over the shoulder wave to Thraen with a nod, "Which makes you an excellent control subject for observation. Without too many misconceptions or preconceived notions one way or the other you don't seem to be as blinded to things. My knowledge of the mirror would not have been dissected as it was, because I seemed to just know. Like some sort of internalized programming. I didn't realize it didn't make sense until you pointed it out, which allowed me to think a little more in reality and not what has been artificially implanted."
She hesitated at the entry way to the room which housed the mirror, in spite of cheeky demeanor in her approach up to this point. She leaned in and took one, cautious step in, cringing at what seemed like pressure. An intense spark of magic in the atmosphere that seemed to almost suffocate, especially given her sensitivity to its call.
"Hello," She called ahead, almost meek.
She nervously drew her hands up close to her chest on approach and started to reach out, but retreated after thinking better of it, gnawing on her lower lip all the while.
"Iris," She whispered harshly over her shoulder, "Now might be the time for go go princess power, please and thank you."

A good portion of the story was not news to *********. She had heard from Zirconia herself what she remembered of her own history when they were both in the Surrounding. The tailless animal hummed gently as Zia offered what she knew of the whole ordeal, only bobbing her head two times.
It was only as the cat-earred girl slowed to a stop and seemed to wince that the manx's fur seemed to bristle a bit. Her ears were absolutely alert and seemed to catch a vague unknown sound.
"...Zia... A-are you okay?" she squeaked out, leaning out a bit to get a better look at her momentarily cat-earred companion.
For a moment, the yellow suited senshi just stood there at the new stopping point, looking straight on in an unamused manner. Holding up one hand, she used the other hand to pantomime turning a crank. The other hand's middle finger rose up slowly in Zia's direction. There was a pause before she put both of her hands down again.
Silently she inhaled, closing her eyes. The tomboy's tiara faded to reveal a glowing symbol of a rainbow with a star upon her forehead. Her fuku glowed and seemed to melt to the floor in a hot white light. Her hair sprouted out until the strands framing her face were now touching the floor as well. With two light steps forward, a pair of wings forced their way out of the skin of her shoulders. Iris held in the mild pained grunt as the wings twitched behind her.
As she opened her eyes, her outfit seemed to cool back down to the familiar yellow dress she wore in this form.

Zia had expected to brandish Iris' royal crystal at the large and imposing mirror as an offering, thinking that would be what was needed.
But the hum that resonated in the two feline's ears suddenly rose in volume and could be very audibly heard now as the intense atmosphere thick with magical energy suddenly waved and pulsed in reaction to the princess's aura, almost seeming to intensify and cluster around Iris.
"Oh, it likes you," Zia exhaled in a breathy whisper, meant to be sarcastic but the gravity in the room seemed to suck all of the vinegar out of her tone. But it recognized the royal, even if she began to sense rising confusion. She was not a recognizable royal, not one it was looking for.
She saw opportunity and moved quickly, laying hands on the mirror's surface to interact with it. She grit her teeth with the effort, putting forth all of the magical energy she had in her own pool as she felt it give and ripple. And suddenly in a great wave, it opened. The mirror's reflective surface was replaced with an image as if it were simply a window into a beautiful starlit sanctum. Another room in the palace, one new and vibrant with signs it was still a place people walked through and lived. As if the universe's being bridged suddenly equalized, the intensity and pressure vanished from the room.
Starry eyed and exhausted, feeling something similar to the after effects of blasting an opponent with energy, the mauvian stumbled back and fell on her a**, propping up her back with her elbows. "Oh, holy s**t, it worked."
Although her brow knitted in confusion a moment later as Zirconia's memories were given brief consideration to what their window into the other universe appeared to be. "Wait... that's not the moon, that's--"
"Who's there?"
A woman approached in the sanctum, rushing to answer the call of the mirror on her end. However, when she saw what the window had opened to, she looked confused. Until her eyes focused on the lilac haired Mauvian. Her expression changed, and not to something kind. She had opened her mouth to, ostensibly, shout something. But Zia had moved quickly to touch the mirror and close it again, its reflective surface in the pale light of the moon palace restoring itself. The magical energy had not returned even with the mirror being closed. The door had been unlocked, Zia felt confident it could be opened again.
However, she shouted in a nervous laugh, "Nevermind!"
She stood up and brushed off her skirt, looking dubiously at the mirror. "Wrong number. We should definitely call it a night and go home, though."
