Lucas Purevelion

Stepping through the portal that the scroll produced was Lucas Purevelion first, he stepped through to find himself in the Archives, where the syndicate record everything has or may happen. They're all their own texts, all except for one book that Lucas had taken from the Grand Library of Kuj'anast several months ago prior to him vanishing for some time. "I have to admit... that scroll has never been known to do something like that, Ruby" he said, gesturing to the portal as Laxion and Alexis followed.

Maybe its the power of the White Jewel Lucas pondered.

__________________________________________

After only a short time, all of them were scanning through countless piles of books, climbing too many ladders to think about and coming up with small pieces of informatio that have slowly come together like puzzle pieces. And as Lucas had thought, the beacons at each city of the Guildeam had been lit, beams of white, red, blue, green and grey... and Purple, were all piercing the stormy clouds covering the world. This was a distress call, and Valorius had been summoned to the High Court with the other leaders of Occulas to discuss the events, Lucas even heard that Declasia was asked to join, too. Was this the beginning of a new alliance ebtween the Land of Crows and the Lands of Occulas? Laxion hoped so.

"I found another!" cried Alexis, Laxion meanwhile almost falling asleep over the laborious book and countless scrolls he had before him. Alexis pulled herself from her table and ran over to the others, "There's a chapter in here from the Order of Injustira, uhm. That guy, the one that commanded the stronghold south of here"
"Orysted" Lucas corrected her. "Right, him, yeah. He has written an account on each of the Greater Demons of Hell, when they invaded they each had signature motif's so to speak. En'radial; fire and anguish, Dantézan; destruction and chaos, Lucifial; darkness and mystery. " she then planted her finger down on a depiction of the demon. But this was centuries old, he could have changed by now, many demons did. He was shown to be a giant, humanoid cloud of darkness with bright yellow eyes. "That was how he apparently showed himself when trying to scare off the Order from a distance."
"By Injustira, I think this is who is responsible!" Lucas gasped.

Ruby

The white cloaked instructor failed to mention the functions of the scroll because portal summoning isn't part of its setting. Ruby mere suggested a way to travel and the way her sentence was interpreted by the White Jewel it made it happen. There is so much information submerged between her connection with the jewel that would have to wait until this mission is secure. The library resembled any other with books of different languages, philosophical ideas, remnants of past predicaments, and piles of dust to seal the package. The albino wasn't keen on reading and most of the time there, she discreetly lingered over to the window watching the beacons light one by one. She was scared but refused to express it much less say a word to her fellow mates. Eventually, much to her dismay, Alexis came across an article advising all of them to listen to her findings. Apparently, the masters of Hell went by many alias' to describe their malicious features and she should know because they were almost charred by En' radial. At least she lived up to her reputation despite being the weakest among her excelling brethren.

During the enthralling conversation, Ruby wondered off to the refreshments set up for them when they arrived. The management of this place seemed a little to excited of their visit instead of subjecting themselves to the prevail befalling Magic Earth. If she was working here, she would have fled home by now to spend whatever time she had left with her family. Pouring creamed coffee into a Styrofoam cup, she handled it to the wary Laxion by positioning it into his hands herself. He looked like he was going to drop it and spill it all over the ancient irreplaceable documents. Ruby wasn't totally obvious to the information and remembered the man named, Orysted, in case it became relevant later. Lucas believe he cracked the code anyway so now he needed to spit it out before they all had a heart attack from anticipation. Ruby once again wondered over to a bookshelf as if she was disinterest, but that wasn't her intention.

Her chest was pounding and it felt like the air was being ejected from her lungs. The jewel began to glow a hot white meaning something was on its way towards them and would be here soon. She collapsed her hands over the light hoping it would die down before the others noticed.

Ruby, during their time in the archives seemed calm and collected, yet what none of them could see what she may really have been thinking or doing, however none of them paid her too much attention, as they all had things to do and worry about themselves. One of them was Laxion. He had trained for war, but now he was really going into one, and he wasn't sure how to feel. As much as he wants to help, and is determined to protect Magic Earth - war scared him. He was kind of grateful that it wasn't a civil war, or with another land, but it was no better that they were going against Hell, an unstable land, with demons as powerful as gods. The past year that he has had to endure, listening to Nyru recite his battle with En'radial, and remembering his own, he had to wonder if Angels existed, too...

... But they do. Yes, he remembers, how could he forget? Everything has changed so quickly, so much, he almost forgot about Lysandiel: High Angel of Redemption. They met him, as Lysander, a Monk of Timol'bet, and he revealed himself as an Angel. But he left. Now, in the darkest of nights Laxion would be grateful to see the Heavens pour its light into his world. But it would seem only Lysandiel would ever be interested. According to Injustirian history, Injustira: High Angel of Justice only aided against the Evils to stop it from spreading to the Heavens.

Lucas finally let out his opinion. "We have to be up against Lucifial, the Lord of Betrayal." he said, "He is the most manipulative of the Greater Demons, we've never been able to udnerstand what he truly wants, but darkness and lies are what he does best. It was lucky you found this Alexis"
"Well, if i could travel back in time and thank him myself, i would" she almost chuckled to make light of the dim situation.

Lucas looked over his scroll, and he found that information from the High Court had been made. "all of you" he said, grabbing their attention, "I've word from Valorius, and the Guildeam has come to the conclusion we are facing a world-wide crisis. The sovereignty have surveyed Magic Earth's skies and all is in darkness. The source - Zakernand. The Oracle has asked for urgent help from any and all heroes that can purge the darkness... " then he seemed surprised, "and by Injustira - The Oracle confirms we're up against Lucifial"

Alexis nodded, as did Laxion, but he had less of his attention focused on Lucas, he was pondering over at Ruby, she seemed to be hiding something, was it her Jewel? What did that mean? Then he thought of something crazy, btu cut-in on Lucas' conversation and almost nervously asked "You uh... haven't been attacked at Skyfall yet... have you?" giving a sheepish face as he awaited the bad or the worse answer.

What if the battle was coming to them, like it had done everywhere else so far?

Ruby

Once the light died down to the point where it was barely visible, she walked out and listened to Lucas intently. Lucifial, the master of deception, was their next enemy but would they have the power to beat him? En' raidal came in the form of a spider so what will be this lord's appearance? Hopefully, he wasn't an enormous ogre they fought at the fair because although they lacked in intelligence, they absorbed the groups' time and energy. The the time two were down, everyone was exhausted, and the jewel wanted to push her to her limits. Lucas dove into the depths of this demon's assets and it was no surprise that the beast fed off lies and darkness. When she looked over to Laxion, he seemed like he was ready to run out of the building screaming his head off. Alexis was praised for her research ethics, of course, but this sort of thing was her forte. Honestly, reading was a waste of time and Ruby wanted to be on the battlefield more than anything.

The scroll activated again, and a message from the High Court was imprinted on the parchment. A distress cry for their help in Zakernand, the place where Alexis' father disappeared. The Valorius and Guideam have been scanning the skies and areas around them continuously just to confirm what they already knew. That's not much help in their department because anyone could look outside and notify that darkness is above them. At least the Oracle gave specific information that they were in fact battling Luficial and not observing the atmosphere.

Laxion suddenly became aware that Skyfall was about to become one of the biggest war grounds in history. The waiting around was making her anxious and when she stepped over to the window, the city below was polluted in dark clouds. "Lucas, what should we do? All of us go to Zakernand now or stay? I think we need to split up." She intervened on Laxion's under answered question skipping right to their duties.

With Laxion's awareness moving to the city they stood in, Lucas began to realise what kind of jeopardy the labyrinthine city below them could be in. This was the closest this in the world to the Heavens, so one person would think that demons would run, but many like Lucas knew this would be the first place to destroy. "We have-" Lucas stated to Laxion but Ruby intervened with duty, "Not yet" he added in his mind as his hand curled around the handle of his blade. Ruby raised an important question, Lucas pondered it, if they split up they could aide Zakernand as well as here for the moment. But what good would that be, he thought? They were but a small number against hordes of demons and probably the undead. Demonic energies would often writhe the dead and cal them from the grave, mindlessly.

"Splitting up may be our downfall" Lucas began, he then drew the Purevelion blade from his waist, "The Elites from Unum shall be able to hold off any large threats until more elites and Guardians from Occulas can arrive... For now..." he said, looking out to the window that Ruby stood at "we serve Skyfall".

Then Laxion felt somethign change in the wind, and instantly his mind reacted like the snap of a cobra, whipping hi head round as he shouted "Ruby! Get away from the window!!!". At that, everyone reached for their weapons, and dark clouds rose up from the city below and like giant spears pummeled the windows, Laxion hoped he was quick enough to have let Ruby get away in time. The dark clouds rushed into the archives, some hit and destroyed bookcases, others directly struck the ground and gave birth to vile demonspawn, small critters that jump and poke, whilst several others also arrived. These were that of the Watchers, some of Lucifial's stronger demons, they had snake-like bodies and heads made of skeletal arms and hands, inside the centre were a singular parge purple eye that glowed. These were his servants that observed and obscured. They raised their arms and commanded the critters to attack!

Ruby

Lucas clutched the handle of his invisible weapon for dear life. The darkness was upon them and the only reason she knew this is because her jewel warned her earlier. The angelic instructor rejected her idea knowing that it was best to defend the territory they are in now. She understood what he meant by their downfall because of the massive armies of creatures that will be resurrected one person cannot repel them alone. Besides, they were Team Elixier for a reason and without them acting as one unit they would have been defeated in their first trial. Drawing his weapon elegantly, he assured her that the Elites from Unum and the Guardians from Occulas would subdue Lucifial until more aide could be administered. Ruby has seen the Elites in combat and their elemental powers are nothing to sneeze at because they could have obliterated Laxion, Kyne, and her in a second. Although, that was the most exciting encounter to come out of that rescue mission. To bad they no longer had Kyne's pyrotechnics to strengthen their side, but the four of them combine worked just as well.

The window was cracked open about an inch or so and a chilling sensation clung to the back of her neck. Her white hair stood on end when Laxion called out her name, exhorting the danger behind her. The glass shattered from behind her as balls of misty darkness came barging in. Miraculously, she didn't get one scratch on her even though she was practically in the line of fire. They rolled across the marvel floor resembling smoke bombs and began to take shade. The demons had a reptile body for the lower part, but no torso. A skull with one purple eye like a cyclopes with bony appendages sticking out of either side made up the rest of the monster. Accompanying the larger reptiles, were smaller demons that looked like aliens with enlarged foreheads clawing on all fours.

The child drew her twin guns in unison with her teammates, ran to their sides, and smirked. "You know something, its been a long time since we've fought together like this." Cocking each gun, she aimed and said, "Its rude that they didn't knock. I think our grotesque guest need to be taught some manners!" One of the smaller spawn hissed at her with its jagged mouth before she shot it in between the eyes with a bullet causing its head to explore and guts flying everywhere. This made its allies angry judging by their howling as they dove for the group in a wave of monsters.

With a sigh of relief Ruby was okay, and sooner than later by their side drawing her own weapons to fend the demons of Hell away! Laxion and Alexis nodded with a grin of excitement over their faces. Sure, this was scary, and perhaps a war, but they were still going to have fun winning.

If only they knew what kind of trouble Claudia and Nyru were facing in Southmarch.

Then as Ruby rang out with her thoughts, her bullets began the fight! The hissing demon found a bullet it's head, and even then it wasn't completely dead, but then it exploded! In a flurry of guts and blood, they all entered the fray. First, Laxion let loose a burst of speed, almost flashing from his space with his allies to dash forwards and impale a demon through the gut. Lifting it up, his turned his spear around and plunged it into the ground, the impaled demon with it! He released a burst of wind that knocked all the smaller demons to the ground. Then, with a groan, Laxion pulled his spear from the carcass and spun it over his head, releasing both the spear heads too to create an upward tornado affect, thrusting all the smaller demons into the air for a few moments!

Next came Lucas' turn, who saw the opportunity attack and yelled "STEADY!" as he rushed forwards and flung his sword behind him, that ignited the Purevelion Blade in a bright white light. "In the name of Injustira!" he yelled, "be purged!". He swung his blade into the air before him, and a massive lashing of light set free to slice the demons that Laxion had lifted into ashes! When the ashes dissipated, Alexis emerged like a fearsome warrior, scythe held high above her head as she came down on one of the larger demons. When she landed, the bottom tip of his scythe plunged into the demon's skull, right through it's one purple eye. With a simple spell, she was thrust from the demon's shoulders and into the air as she landed on the ground behind the demon. Her scythe had slipped under it's legs, and she heaved her blade to pull it over her head and into the ground before her, the scythe's blade now plunging the demon in the chest against the ground. "Ruby!" Alexis cried, using ehr spare hand to release her arcane bindings across the floor, "They're immobile!" she explained, her magic had glued many of the demons to the floor for Ruby to dispatch!

((feel free to take semi-control of my characters for combos! Hope you like this! It's just like watching an episode of RWBY, all the combos, all the itneraction! Also, what did u think of the last episode?! So emotional, poor Jaune!))

Ruby

Ruby felt arrogant at the moment and decided to take a small break by watching the others kick a**. Laxion was deftly a formidable opponent by combining his elemental powers with his moves. First, he penetrated on of the demons through the abdomen and thrust it into the ground, cracking the marvel accidentally. Gust of wind shot from the grounded spear like a sonic wave flinging the insignificant nuisances back giving him some space. He shoved the corpses off with the sole of his shoe, like a boss, and spun his double edge spear above his head. His long black locks flapped widely and the entrails from the demon was flung into oblivion. A hurricane was conjured and sense there was nothing the creatures could grip onto other than bookshelves, they got sucked into the vortex.

Lucas wasn't to shabby either considering he hadn't been in the field for a while so she assumed he would lose his touch. Nope! With a justifiable statement and a blade that shined brighter than the Heavens, he swung Purvelion releasing a wave of pure light. The hot white strip zoomed towards the tornado ripping apart everything in its path, mixing with the swirling turbulence, and turned into a furnace. The lot was cremated and their ashes rained over the rest. Alexis flew threw the curtain of ashes, she scythe reflecting the miserable hoard before their demise. Burring the tip of her weapon into one of the Watcher's bulbous eyes, and then jetted off of it. The skeleton screeched and didn't even notice the woman's cat like reflexes landing behind it. Siding the blade in between its legs, she lifted the scythe over her head, bringing the demon along for the ride, and then nailing it to the floor through the chest. The blonde was more brutal than she remembered, but she empathized with the knew side of her friend. Now, it was Ruby's turn and half of the Hellish army was incarcerated making them easy targets. "You rang?" The albino said, as she ran pasted Lucas and Laxion using their each of their shoulders to get a boost upward.

She formed ridiculous faces to make her two teammates laugh before seeing Lucas pull a 'quit messing around' look. Her two guns were already aligned together transforming into her infamous sword. Lifting a hand into the air while spend up high, she summoned the crystalline fire sword giving to her by Kyne. Crossing the blades, both were enveloped by white flames that didn't burn her as she plummeted towards the demons. On impact, flames spread out into different directions charring all beast in its path similar to her instructor's attack. The ones left alive were cut down by decapitation or one good stab through the back. Dancing through the demons that jumped for her, she sliced them right in two with one swift swing. At some point, she tossed the crystalline sword in the air like a javelin letting it pin a Watcher to the nearest wall by its chest. If it has a heart it would have been dead immediately.

Switching back fluently to guns, she killed more creatures. "Laxion, make a tornado around me." The demons began to build a wall enclosing them in which was a huge mistake. "Lucas, give the tornado a sample of your light and Alexis pin down as many enemies as you can. After that all of you duck or take shelter!" Ruby began antagonizing the swarm of demons, the ones that weren't collaborating with the others to build a fortress. They attacked her inflicting scratches and some of them cause a great deal of injured. She didn't fight back in the slightest, in fact she let them toss her about, stab, and bite her until the pain began to grow. This would active the jewel and force it to go into a protective state. A Watcher stood over her while she was on the ground, ready to strike, but when she opened her eyes they were lit white. A white aura encased her making the demon cower in fear. "Now." She said to the others, her voice distorted.

(Alright, how does this sound? I did watch the last episode and I felt a little more sad for Pyrrha. She gives so much for Jaune and expects nothing in return. Humble and a true friend to the ever end. Sorry, I made Ruby so cocky. You may use Ruby however you like.)

Lucas Purevelion

Letting loose their torrent of power across the marble paved library was just as easy to unleash as it is to say. As soon as the combo from the others was over, Ruby summoned her blades, one mechanical, one made of crystal that could cut through butter like a flaming hot knife. As she hit the floor it was as if everything rippled like water, flames spread and scorched all in its path like an atomic bomb contained by her power, emanating by the white jewel within her.

She then went swiftly to cut through many more demons, they screamed and hissed as they fell to the floor, some turning to ashes, others releasing their souls that screeched, many more spilling their blood on the floor. Then Ruby came up with a plan to finish off the rest! She caught Laxion's attention, and giving her a moment's time to speak, he nodded and began spinning his spear over his head, conjuring the air around him before, like a dance, pulling his spear back and thrusting it towards Ruby where the tornado curled and formed around her. Then, after Lucas sent a ball of light dashing to one of the vermin, he heard his name, both he and Alexis then nodded too.

Lucas swung his blade before him several times, the energy singing through the air like the chords of the angels speaking from the heavens, pulling his sword down and thrusting it into the air released white light that leapt from the ground and got pulled into the tornado like a black hole would pull in an entire galaxy. Without further though, Alexis finished off a few demons beside her with her scythe, before whipping the blade behind her as the blade straightened out to a spear. Pulling the blade across the floor sparks lit and blue lightning stretched across the ground, in small amounts zapping all the demons around her, doing nothing. But then she lifted it, turned the blade upside-down and thrust it to the round. But the tip didn't penetrate the marble, it 'tinged' against the floor, releasing a blue light that flashes and instantly grappled all the foul monsters to the ground, their feet rooted like animals in a bear trap.

Laxion was becoming panicked though, Ruby was letting them get close to her, and he wanted to lash out, and he almost did. He began to run forwards and reached out wiht his hand only to have his shoulder pulled back harshly, Lucas was calmly standing as the air whipped his hair side-to-side, he said "She's okay! She's letting them do this, she's letting them do their worst so that her natural defence will kick-in. That's what makes her special!" and then he stopped for a moment, Laxion giving one last look to Ruby before it happened, just as Lucas added "She's the White Jewel!"

((finally got round it it xD ))

Ruby

Laxion twirled his double edged spear like a baton until a tornado was gliding over to her. She stood in the middle of the storm's eyes and if she didn't have the white jewel in her the air would have been sucked out of her lungs. Her stringy white hair ripped through the turbulence wildly and her light weighted armored dress clanged together along with the belt accessories. Through the crevices of wind, she could see Lucas swinging his sword expertly and summoning the burning light from his blade adding it to the tornado. The swirling furnace brightened the dark room, and it resembled the fire tornado that God sent down to warded off the Egyptians from pursuing Noah. Expect, Ruby wasn't a holy apostle and the closest person to the heavens in the room was the angelic Lucas Purevelion. Alexis was equality as graceful as her scythe scrapped the tile cause sparks of neon blue to fly. However, the ear scrapping sound it made was music to her ears or at least what she could perceive of it over the wind. Glowing blue incantations circled the demons freezing them permanently, waiting for Ruby to annihilating them in one big bang. She wondered if they regenerated back in Hell, but either way the abominations were wiped from the surface of the earth.

Laxion twinged at the thought of her being mangled, but at least Lucas understood her plan advising the student that everything would be okay. Hopefully by now, they all took shelter somewhere far in the back of the building behind a bookshelf. All of the demons incarcerated near her, wanted desperately to snuff out the light; and bring the world into darkness. The albino detached her guns, but didn't bother to load any ammunition into the barrels. She could transfer the white jewels power into enhanced bullets that would catch fire and use the tornado to curve off into multiple directions. Anything that was located near the vortex would be pumped full of holes or ripped to sheds in a matter of seconds. This is unfortunate for the documents, but maybe there were never meant to be read and their secrets now reside with the departed. Flinging the guns out to each side, a white aura outlined them, she inhaled, and when she exhaled bullets were fired.

The demons screams and graveling reached her, but no sympathy was given to the hellspawn. The syringing holes burned outwards swallowing some of the demons until they were charred statues that soon crumbled into dust. The sound of bullets contacting demon's flesh, wood, paper, and ceramic vases were all picked up at some point. While Ruby was in spiritual form, inside of her mind, her body was curled into a ball and encased by a crystal formation. The substance around her will shatter when she regains control of her body again. The last bullets flew and with one last shebang, she put her guns together and slammed her blade into the tile, penetrating it. The flaming tornado distrust, taking any demons left with it, leaving Ruby behind. The ambiance of the jewel faded from her chest and eyes as the girl fell to her knees depleted of energy. She breathed heavily as she review the destruct she inflicted on the archives. Her sword slipped out of its upright position and automatically shifted back into the guns which she placed into their holsters.

Climbing to her feet weakly, she dragged herself over to her crystalline sword that was protruding from the wall, and reclaimed it. She leaned against the partially destroyed wall, exposing the outside, and waiting for the others to come out of hiding. The moment seemed to silent and tranquil to last and before she saw it coming a demonic oversize owl flew through the opening. The feather, sleek black skinned bird slammed its moving veiny claws into the already cracked titles. It had four red eyes with a glowing yellow pupil in the middle and mounds of winkles around the sockets. The wings were paper thin as well as deformed with sharp points at the ends, the same for the tail. The black beak looked like it was forged out of metal while its rib cage was visible; housing its rotting organs. By this time, Ruby pushed away from the wall alerted by the threat but was powerless to defeat it.

She ran towards the beast only to have it wrap a wing around her body, constricting her, and then throwing her to the ground. She hit the marvel so hard the it knocked the wind out of her and blood seeped onto her porcelain chin. The crystalline sword transformed back into a bracelet because its flames were extinguished needing time to rejuvenate like her. The jewel didn't have the strength to protect her any further so she was at the mercy of the owl. The malevolent demon pinned the girl down with its foot, the weight was crushing her anatomy, and it scooped her into its balled talons. Drawing in a crawl, the owl spread its wings and leaped out the opening carrying the unconscious Ruby with it.

Lucas Purevelion

((That... was an excellent post... man! That was insane, that's all i can say. It felt so real))

Accepting Lucas' reply, Alexis ordered them to find cover, pointing over towards some large bookcases made of the very marble the walls were, jumping down from her table she led the way as the others followed. Laxion pressed himself against the cool stone behind him and held his spear infront of him, Lucas followed swiftly after as his layers of white, silver and cream cloth settled around him. From the roars and chants of the demons, suddenly, there was an outburst of power. It blasted the round, dust lifting from its place, the sound of bullets demolishing all it could, light shone everywhere, into every nook, every cranny leaving no darkness a place to hide. At the heart of the cataclysm was Ruby, with the White Jewel completely controlling her body. Alexus had to cover her face as shrapnel and debris flung past them, around all the corners, dust following and th eoccasional demon's body that was flung against the walls nearby before becoming incinerating by the infused light Lucas had given Ruby, it hunted them down like eagles preying on mice.

And then it was all over, but it took the others some time to get it back together, to finally realise it was okay to ge tup. When they got around the corner to find the devastation, Ruby wasn't alone. "Ruby!!" Alexis cried, but the giant winged demon got her first, its grotesque body holding her own close to it, before whipping her back to the ground, Alexis tried to rush forward and let loose a torrest of arcane missiles, but it stopped them with its own torrent o black feathers, as sharp as daggers!

Then Ruby got up, and she was actually going to try and take it on after what she had just done already. Laxion couldn't imagine what she was thinking, her bravery was surpassing every other emotion, ache or pain she could have been feeling. But it deflected her, knocking her to the ground again,a nd the others didn't have enough time ebfore it plucked her from the floor and left through the crevice. "No!!!" Laxion demanded, jumping forwards and rushing towards the gap in the wall, Lucas tried to call him back but it was too late, as he neared the edge his eyes went grey and he summoned the power of his elemental blood, he summoned the power of his fae magic to combine with it. He was a half-breed, half elemental, half fae, and that was less often deadly to others than it was oneself. Jumping out he dived through the air, only to jump against ht eair itself and be lifted high up above to find Ruby.

"I can't stay here and wait, Lucas. I waited before, and im not losing my team!"
"Alexis! You can't-" but she was gone too, she leapt from the building and conjured all her training to create arcane steps below each of her footsteps, running, following Laxion towards the bird, but it was so fast, so strong. Ever her arcane cannons weren't enough as she chased it, Laxion's efforts to send the wind cascading towards it failed too, it was an expert flyer and its demonic strength was unimaginable.

Until the heavens crackled. The black sky above them was screeching, being ripped apart, and heavenly rays split through the smallest of gaps. Alexis had to cover her eyes, and Laxion had to stop running, he had to let the wind spiral around him like a small tornado to keep him safe. But just then, the sky rumbled, a chime sung through out Skyfall, and back in the archives Lucas could see this revelation happening.

It was a rare event, all of a sudden his mind and heart calmed, this was the sort of event Daywalkers, let alone the Syndicate, waited for their entire lives. That above them, was a gateway to the Heavens themself, and from it would spill an angel. From the rays of golden light that beat down upon the monster holding Ruby, came one figure before it was forced closed once again, it was the one and only angel that would ever want to help humanity because he... was... Redemption. After the light was gone, the giant demon suffered a great wound, Lysandiel, High Angel of Redemption held a zweihander deep within it's body, the blades golden light burning it deep within. The resonating, singing voice of Lysandiel, that family old man come from within the hood that covered hsi would-be face, now merely a black abyss in his true, Angelic form. He said "Ruby! Jump!", knowing the ugly, foul bird would have to let her go, if ti didn't, the Angel would merely give it more pain to handle.

Laxion and Alexis would surely catch her, they would never let anything happen to her.

((omg... is there going to be an insane RWBY finish here, i ONLY JUST THOUGHT OF IT BUT OMG ITS PERFECT. I hope your okay with me bringing Lysandiel in, i thought it was a perfect moment! ))

Ruby

Alexis' addressing her in terrified screams was the last thing she heard before everything went blank. The owl brought up its wing and impacted the missiles with its sharp flying needles without flinching. Once it was outside, its wings flapped up to the surface of the cloud coverage and its goal was to bring its prey to its master. The once wise creature pivoted its head all the way back seeing that it was indeed being followed by the elemental. He used the wind to his advantage, skated across the clouds, and his hostile gray eyes forced on its rear end. The older woman of the group, used an ancient form of magic that had been adapted over the years to fit ones personal assets. The male shrouded in white refused to pursue the owl which means he only had two to deal with. With the abilities of Hell that Lucifial himself bestowed upon him, the owl could defeat any potential threat. After all, the wise owl soul his soul in exchange for eternal life by trading its white amber tipped feathers, but it was aloud to keep its knowledge. The owl was no ordinary servant and their were many others like him in the underworld.

By adverting more of Alexis' missiles and Laxion's gust by aerial rolling or tipping from side to side. Fools, they couldn't catch the Spirit of Wind, which was he referred to as in Hell. It cranked its maniacal beak open, filling its dried lungs with air similar to a vacuum bag, and shot a beam of compressed air at the two. Unfortunately, they had techniques of their own to avoid his attacks. Suddenly, the ambiance broke away in front of him and when he turned his red eyeballs were blinded. The others had to cover their sensitive vision two, but if he wasn't so busy boasting to himself he would have seen this coming. The owl jetted back and flapped in one place as the rays of light cringed his wrinkled flesh.

The owl could flap as hard down that it was in pain and lowed itself loosing its grip on the child. An angel without a true identity plummeted down from Heaven's gateway, and stabbed a blade into its back. It whaled in distress knowing that it couldn't recover to the Redemption seeker's attack. Lysandiel called to Ruby to jump and dangled near the tips of the limping claws. Almost like a sleepwalking sequences, the girl lifted her body and leaned forward uncontrollable as gravity guided her downwards; not a jump but close enough. She would land safety into her friends out stretched arms and hugged tightly to their chests. The owl's stiffened exterior cracked and writhed making uncomfortable expressions before it started to fall back down to earth as well. Curse the light. Welcome the darkness. If only the owl capability of speech because those would be his last words.

(So much Rwbyness! I'm so glad you're enjoying yourself. Sorry this post isn't so good I was struggling on what to say. Next one will be better.)

Lucas Purevelion

Lysandiel, the High Angel of Retribution was here to bring peace and redeem the innocent, bringing the demon pain and suffering in his wake, serving justice, that Injustira would have been proud of. As Ruby got herself free, she was almost like a loose doll that fell, and began plummeting towards the earth. And for a moment it almost looked like she would get so fast, so close to the ground that she wouldn't be able to defend herself. If she was well, and filled with strength, this fall could be easily recovered from, but she was weak.

"Ruby!" Alexis cried, seeing her one of her closest friends fall in the short distance. Her heart was pounding, she could almost feel it beating in the back of her throat and it forced her mind to stretch to limits she thought exhausting, just to get to her. Bringing her scythe around her a cannon of arcane energy surrounded Alexis, and with a single bolt of power she was thrust into the air, soaring for Ruby. When she got close enough, she opened her arms wide and as soon as she could she clutched a hold of her, but a plaza below was getting closer! Alexis had no time to react, she just curled herself around Ruby, hoping to fall onto her own back instead hers. Alexis didn't even realise she had dropped her scythe in the act to save her. Above, the half-fae half-elemental watched as both his friends fell like shot birds. He thought to himself, he can't be quick enough, it didn't seem possible! But he had to try something, Skyfall city wouldn't cushion them, no matter how white as a cloud it was.

But he did it, Alexis opened her eyes when she thought she should have hit the ground, Ruby was still within her arms as well, where was she? Her crystal blue eyes looked up to the rooftops and spires, and she saw Laxion holding his arms stretched towards them, he looked... like he wasn't there, but completely focused on saving them - which he did. Floating them like a majestic being, Alexis thought, and she could onyl sigh in relief, to suddenly be jolted back to life when her scythe swung beside her face and stabbed the ground with a great 'ching'. Laxion slowly floated down to the ground after releasing the cushion of air that had made Alexis' and Ruby's descent safe, and he dropped to his hands and knees as his grey eyes recovered.

None of them got to see how Lysandiel finished off the demon, not even Lucas. The highly respected scholar of the Injustira Syndicate didn't even stay to watch a High Angel do his work, instead he was already makign his way down to the plaza, where he met with the team. Shortly after, Lysandiel descended with his great glowing wings made of fibres of light and sound, and his hood with no face, just a blackness, greeted them. His sword then flashed away as he stood silently for everyone to recover momentarily.

((hope this was okay :3))

Ruby

As Ruby descended, she was completely unaware of what was going on outside of her. Inside her mind, Ruby was stranded in a white void with a crystallized version of herself in front of her. The twin grimaced at her counterpart as cracks chipped away at her once beautiful complexion. "Why would you damn me? To me times has my essences been exploited for your own benefits. I gave you life and I can take it away!" The yelling from the illusion pierced her ear drums as Ruby backed away from the terrifying image. She felt like reverting to insanity, if it would scare her enough to wake up from this nightmare. Usually, the jewel blessed her presences and showered her with protection but this time it was angered by the way she exploited its powers. But, this time when she used it she had ever intention of saving the people closet to her so why didn't encourage her efforts? "There was no other way. The demons would have devoured them. Are you saying me using your powers is an damaging you? Believe me when I say, I know how to control your powers and won't let you-" The jewel growled and stomped its foot down shattered its leg into pieces.

"It's to late. You abuse me! I am dying..Ruby. I'm being pushed to the limit and will be pushed further because of this darkness. I'm frightened because you're frightened. You know its coming. By the end of this battle I won't be able to substance myself or you. The light will fade, and I will crumble sealing out fates. You will die." The albino's eyes shuttered and tears rolled down her cheeks. This isn't real!? What will happen to her teammates and instructor if she is no longer there to protect them!? The ground underneath her turned transparent like glass and with on step it broke causing her to fall down into nothingness. No, if she had more time to explain herself maybe there was a way to figure out how to restore the jewel. She wouldn't allow herself to die not when her friends still needed her by their sides.

Ruby awoke gasping for air when she heard the sound of a scythe penetrate the ground. Her vision concentrated on Alexis as she whispered her name automatically. She looked around to see Laxion on his knees exasperated and Lucas shortly coming up behind him. Lysandiel, the faceless angel, drifted down with his golden wings of virtue. She had no idea what became of the owl, but instantly wiped her forehead of sweat and her chin of blood. "What happened?" She asked with wide eyes and a shakily demeanor. She was in no condition to even move, but she tired to get out of Alexis' arms anyway to go to Laxion and the others.

(I love your post! Lysandiel is so cool. My post...I wasn't sure what to say, but may this can cause more conflict or something. I don't know. Tell me if your okay with it.)
