Hello all. Fox here. I don't want to see what I think the heart of Gaia is, die. Too many of our beloved features that make this website what it is have been cast into the dirt and buried. I'd rather not see the plot line become just another statistic.

What I love most about Gaia is the world they created by making the Manga, the NPCs, the background Story and all the places like Barton where Gaians (we all) live!
And now they want to abandon this..this very heart of the site (next to the community)??????!!!!!!!! I CANNOT let this happen! scream

My favorite thing about Gaia plots is how it can bring the community together to speculate over something or just even share opinions and ideas. 3nodding Not to mention I find it a lot more interesting than a random item pushed out every day. >x>;; I just like engaging stories. c:

Hi. I'm Arlette~ I'm glad to be here.
The Labtechs & The Secret Underground Lab Testing Facility is what drew me to Gaia. Gaia's core and what makes it unique compared to other forums has been the dynamic plot. I miss Johnny K Gambino. My favorite plot was Gambino vs the Von Helsons. I miss those girls terribly. xd

Hi guys! My name's Azzie. I found out about this place through Gumby Ningata, via Revolution Gaia.
zOMG was what brought me here, to Gaia, back in '08. And the story was what drew me to that. I adored the Frontier Skies storyline, and that got me into the site proper. I just... I feel like Gaia deserves so much more. Its stories deserve to be told.

Greetings fellow plot junkies. I can consider you all to be fellow plot junkies can I? You may recognize me as Chibi Halo the face of the Gaia Casimir Alliance. I know some of you might be asking yourself, "Self, what's this Gaia Casimir Alliance she's talking about?" The Airship Saga, that is what the Gaia Casimir Alliance, or GCA, is all about. We were born from two maybe three incarnations of the GCD Airport. We are the nameless masses that rose up and flew our airships to save the spoilage god in a fashion so awesome that we made it to the pages of the Frontier Skies manga.
Ah plot, where do I begin to describe my love for you? A plot junkie like me loves a good bull session plot thread. I love getting together with people and dissecting the plot seven ways to Sunday. I may be more wacky and cooky than any thirty-nine year old person should be but I take my plot seriously. Yes I know it's all in good fun but I love immersing myself into the world that is Gaia and using what the plot gives us to build upon the known landscape. It was my group that predicted floating towns before floating towns became canon and created Porta Denia the home of the GCA. That is the true fun of the plot around Gaia.
If you've seen me around the GCD you'll know that I'm the resident Pixie. I'm also a lover of all things Barton because as my OC will tell anyone that listens for five minutes "Barton is the best damn town to "fake" a wedding." Without the plot there wouldn't be such iconic things like a random user falling in love with an alien or an ordinary girl forming a bond with the Dean of a private (?) college. And without the plot we wouldn't have random fourth wall breaking site take overs and Olympic sized rants and we certainly wouldn't have things like Dropplr or the user run society mag Paparazzi. The plot inspires community and without it the GCD would be nothing more than items and discussions about the bad economy. The plot is our escape from all of that and that's why it's so very important to us and the site as a whole.
Oh and did I also mention I'm the resident rambler, barer of the bad news, reason we're all here, and quite possibly the oldest person in this guild. If you need an "adult" then I'm your tree hugging in more ways than one pixie.

Hallo! I'm B I B A X T which really sucks to type when talking to me so you can shorten it however you'd like. I saw the original thread link in Arlette's signature followed it read up posted there then decided to check out the guild. As far as why Gaia's plot is important to me; it's one of the major things that made me really start enjoying the site way way back when and it's always been something I've considered to be organically a part of Gaia without it there's nothing unique or fun or zany to set Gaia apart from other avatar sites.

Hey guys! My name is Mikino!
I just recently came back to Gaia with this account, after a loooong break.
Having been on and off Gaia since 2004, I have absolutely fallen in love with the characters of the site. I grew up with these characters, and I believe they deserve someone to fight for them! I am very excited to help anywhere I can. I do not want to lose the plot!! emotion_donotwant

Hiya, I'm Hop.
I loaf around and play old videogames.
I'm EXTREMELY bummed out to hear that they haven't made any preparations to continue the plot after the kickstart stuff.
The plot is a big part of Gaia. I don't want to see it go.
I love Gaia way too much. It's pretty much the only place I've mustered enough courage to post in a forum in.
I hope we can affect things and change it all for the better.
