Hero's Harrowing Hover Course
feat. special guest star Justice the Sheep. Captain Hero floats heroically outside of her very barren booth. Her banner is nothing more than several sheets of notebook paper hung on a string with giant marker printed letters. She's dressed the same as always except for a gold-guilded domino mask that is serving as her 'costume'. Next to her, Justice the sheep floats lazily, chewing on the edge of her cape. Seeing the students approach she snaps into action. "YA YA!" Hero snapped her arms at Justice as if she were whipping him into shape... except there's no whip. "Come one come uh.. all! See the amazing feats of Justice the sheep!"Justice looks pretty annoyed to be treated like a performing animal but follows his reaper's prompting by hovering dutifully through a few hula hoops she lifts for him. Unfortunately neither of them fly so his death-defying tricks take place only a few feet off the ground.

The Course"C'mon scarelings!" She beckons cheerily, "Uh.. step right up and try your hand! Learn to fly! In a very very very safe environment!"On the counter of the sparse booth are a collection of remote controlled flying minipet toys. Choose a toy and fly it through a course of hoops that Captain Hero has set up! Show her your super safe flying skills!  Quote: The Game: Fly a remote controlled minipet toy through a series of hoops! Rules: Roll 10d10. If the total is ODD - You win! Your toy flew successfully through most of the hoops! If the total is EVEN - You lose sad Your flying skills are lacking. Miscellaneus Rules:1) YOU MUST RP IN YOUR POST!2) You have free reign with choosing/describing your flying minipet toy. 3) You may play ONCE every day. If you lose, try again tomorrow! 4) Be patient with prize confirmation! This player is running more than one booth! Prizes should be dispersed in the evening or next morning.

Being a big kid at heart, Marie couldn't resist the lure of the flying toy booth (not that she'd been able to resist any booth thus far). She grabbed a remote and flew the toy with a surprising amount of concentration (for her), tongue stuck slightly out of the corner of her mouth as she navigated the hoops. " Whoo-hoo!"

With captain hero's explaination, Uru stood there awkwardly with the tiny controller and the Woopat shaped contraption. It was cute and it moved its wings too. The little bat was able to maneuver through seven of the ten rings which was sufficient enough according to Captain Hero!

Wally screamed from halfway across the carnival grounds. The scream seemed to get louder and louder, until it was clear that he was running straight for Captain Hero.
"OH MY BELUGA. YOU'RE A REAL HERO! LIKE, AN ACTUAL REAL HERO!" He could tell, because she had a cape. A real hero cape that was so much cooler than his own. "I have a booth all about how to be a hero, but you're the real thing."
Were there stars in his eyes? Yes.
He picked up one of the remote controls, dead set on impressing her with his flying skills. He navigated his little hover minipet through almost all of the hoops, and grinned widely up at her.
"That was good right?"ToT Superhero Wally won the thing. did he impress u yet

Pausing by Captain Hero's simple booth, Quark clapped gamely for Justice's dutiful if not altogether death-defying performance. The lure of remote controlled fliers snared him soon after. As an avian demon, he flew, of course, but this was different.
Way too different.
The unfortunate toy scale sprite might as well have been on a roller coaster course. It dipped and soared, never at quite the right time to avoid bumping up against the hoops. Sometimes it missed the hoop altogether.
Catching the toy at the end of the course, he checked it guiltily for signs of malfunction. It did hit a few of those hoops pretty hard. Didn't look broken, but it was hard to tell. He set it down carefully. "So sorry about that," he told Captain Hero on his way out.

Lock grabbed for one of the controllers, slightly confused by how this thing worked. He remembered having one of these toys when he was little, but now ...

"Wow!" Captain Hero grinned as the students began filtering forward to play the game. "Great job!" The enthusiastic boil in the cape got a big heroic thumbs up. "Your a hero in the making!"Justice made good with distributing the prizes, each being handed a ticket or silver seed in turn. Wally got a pat on the back from the hovering trick-or-treater. "Are you a fan of Halloween Haunter?" She whispered. "He's the best hero that ever was.." Her eyes darted. "I have a mint-condition copy of issue number on-OOW!" Justice had butt stabbed her with his horns. "Oh uh.. haha.. look me up later! Maybe we can talk hero-business!" Wally got a wink. The Red Dame You won 1 Custom RP raffle ticket!! The first few rings were alright but then it just got pitiful from there. The little Woopat flying thing was good the other day... but today wasn't the same. Putting the controller down, he nodded to the booth runner and stalked off elsewhere.

Okay, so he was still the height of a scareling, but did they have to point it out? He was going to start Amity soon! Still, flying minipet toy, c'mon no brainer and boil would want to play here. Nova wandered up to the booth and chose a toy in the shape of a winged levitha. About halfway through the course he flew into a hoop and the toy dropped out of the air.

After a couple of losses back-to-back at other booths, Marie decided to revisit the hover booth. She greeted Hero and her sheep, then selected a black Batling toy and navigated it through the hoops.

Catching sight of a number of flying toys zipping through the air, Rojo approached them with a bounce in his step, listening to the Trick or Treater to make sure he was allowed to touch them before grabbing one and turning it on. The plastic winged skull he had chosen quickly rose into the air under the influence of the joystick under his thumb, but it only made it through two rings before he crashed the toy into a wall. Aw.

Today Nova tried the course with a toy shaped like a Demon Cat minipet. It was nice, with wings shaped like his. He started it up, bumping the booth a couple times until it was fully airborne. He got through a few hoops, missed one, bumped into another, but the toy didn't fall... got through some more hoops, missed a few more, and made it through the last one! He's finished the course!
