The one eyed reaper gave each of the approaching parties a rather cold stare, as if he's judging them. "Oi. Put on the blindfold. You get one shot to hit the target. If you get it, you get a prize. If you fail miserably, I get to use you as tar--"

He pauses there and lets out a soft grunt.

"If you fail miserably, you get snotcorn dumped all over you."

While making sure everything was in place, Shun looked to both Estel and Lock. He motioned them over, then spoke lowly.

"Aside from running this. I'm giving you an additional task, as your mentor. When distributing the prizes, do so in the most discrete manner. If they don't realize it, then you've done a good job."

With that said, he slunk on back and away.

Letting Wally near knives was probably not the best idea, but there was no one here to stop him.

He tied the blindfold around his head and threw the knives kind of randomly. When he peaked to see how he'd fared, he discovered that he'd missed the target entirely. Snotcorn was dumped on his head, and he caught a few pieces in his mouth.

"Delicious!"

Shun watched the first few people try their hand at the activity. He eyed Wally and just slowly shook his head.

It seemed that, for some reason, Naoki wanted to try her aim, again. Despite how dangerous this game was, the demon attempted, failed (as she always did with these kind of things), and then quickly was dosed in pink glitter. Her arms were half raised, rigid as the demon simply stood there in complete horror before, with a gasp, she fled to clean the glitter off. Didn't these people know glitter never came out?!

Weapons of any type were a bit of a mystery to her. Even more so knives. She never understood the fascination with throwing them or carrying a gnome's butt load of em around. But this booth looked interesting none the less.

So why not give it a try.

The ghoul approached and promptly blind folded herself. Of course, her hands fumbled around a bit to find one of the throwing knives. Perhaps she should have picked up one and put it where she could find it before she blinded herself. Oh well.

"One..two..three...look out!" With a light whip of her arm she sent the knife in what she hoped was the right direction.

This was, perhaps, the first time Mathias had really gone out since returning from being kidnapped by Parker. For the most part, he had stuck to taking classes and hiding out in his own dorm room or Jove's, not liking to be alone for long periods of time, always paranoid that at any moment, he could be snatched away again. After all, it had been so easily done the first time. What was to stop the convict from returning and taking away those who had escaped, to make them relive that hell all over again?

But slowly, things were getting better. Tension was easing, and the stress was melting away. Slowly, he was feeling like he could be comfortable out in public around strange creeple again.

His hand was wrapped around Jove's as they made their way to the carnival grounds. He was holding on a bit more tightly the closer they got, and kept his gaze low, but for once it was more of an aversion tactic than a general instinct to keep his eyes off of ghouls. At times, he would catch glimpse of a flowery bracelet that Jove was wearing on his wrist, and his lips would twitch up into a small smile. It was something so small, but feminine, and strangely, it helped with his other condition despite being nearly nothing at all, giving him something to focus on.

From what glimpses he took of the various booths they walked by, Mathias finally stopped.

"Is interesting." He murmured, glancing over at Jove. "Vould like to try?"
