 HP: 20 Wilhelm was feeling a bit better about himself. he had won a battle, breaking the string of bad luck he'd been having lately. Maybe he could be more effective. if he was honest with himself he knew that chance was slim. Still, he wasn't going to hide in the camp. he wouldn't be that big of a embarrassment to his god! When he spied Kana, he hesitated. She looked dangerous. She was clearly going to be a hard person to battle. Swallowing a thick feeling in his chest, Wilhelm unslung his gold scythe from his back. With a blade on one end, the bottom of the weapon actually had a gravediggers shovel attached. Wilhelm forced himself to approach Kana, and he attempted to smack her with his shovel head.

 Kana whirled around, sensing the other's approach. Though her reaction was not quick enough and she took a sharp blow to the right temple. With a hiss of pain she swept one leg back and placed her hand on the hilt of her katna. Her eyes narrowed, glimpsing the golden scythe. It was just like another she had fought, though this particular one had a shovel blade on the opposite end for some reason unknown to her. Drawing her blade rapidly she lashed out with a horizontal strike. HP: 17

HP: 18 The squirrel boy watched as Kana positioned her feet., "Oh...elegant..." He managed to murmur before she unsheathed her blade and swept her attack towards him. he moved his weapon shaft to counter, though he underestimated the strength behind the blow and still took a cut to his arm. Giving a little huff of a grunt, he twisted his scythe so the shovel blade came upwards in an attempt to clock Kana on the chin.

Kana's head snapped back and she was forced to take several quick steps backwards to stop herself from falling. Her last step swept the ground in an arch as she lowered her stance, her head came back up, sporting a blood on her chin. Katana held out to the side her eyes narrowed to serious slits, this one had more strength than they appeared. Rushing back in she swung her blade to cut diagonally across his chest. HP: 13

HP: 16 That look the cursed girl settled on him made Wilhelm nervous. His tail flickered behind him like a banner and he prepared himself for her counter attack. In mind if not in body. Again, Kana came at him with great speed and more then a little bit of poise as far as he was concerned. Wilhelm brought his weapon up in a repeat block like his first. Again her strength seemed more then his own as she managed to push the blade close enough to cut him. Wilhelm attempted to slide the shaft of his weapon down the edge of her blade, so he could try to crack her in the face with it.

For such a nervous seeming critter, he had some skills. His scythe slid down her blade and though she drew back she took a gash just below her eye. She quickly shifted her stance and in one fluid movement she moved to the side, swiping her katana for his side as she passed. HP: 10

HP: 12 "Squee!" Wilhelm had no problem giving sound to his pain. he jumped as Kana's blade sliced evenly and deeply through his side. He actually took a step away from her and turned his now heavily bleeding side away from her. Panting a little, he eyed Kana for an idea on how to attack her. Keeping his weakened side away from her. Steeping himself, Wilhelm spun his scythe over his head, then attempted a simple downwards slash with it's golden blade.

Kana turned to face him as he took a few steps back, careful to keep his injured side away from her. Her narrowed eyes watched the glinting golden scythe spin a second too long and she paid for it. She tried to bring her sword up to stop the downward thrust, but the blade didn't collide with the scythe before it had already sunk itself deeply into her shoulder. She winced and a 'gack' sound slipped through her teeth. Having the opposite reaction to the blow than the squirrel warrior, she finished her upwards swing, using her sword to remove the scythe from her flesh. Then in a flash of movement she brought her sword down and rushed forward under his arms to impale him on her katana. HP: 6

HP: 11 Wilhelm actually winced at Kana when he saw how his blow landed. "Sorry." He whispered softly as she moved her blade. He was aware of it's angle and when she made the move to impale him, Wilhelm actually released his hold on his weapon. His scythe clattered to the ground, and Wil performed something like a backflip in place. The blade cut across his back, slicing through his fur and scratching him. As he flipped, he attempted to kick Kana in the chest before landing on his feet in front of her in a crouch.

Kana hadn't expected the other to relinquish their hold on their weapon. Combined with the agile back flip, despite the severe side wound rendered her strike useless and but her in a bad situation. His kick landed solidly in her stomach, forcing the air from her lungs in a 'whoosh' and take several rapid steps backwards. Bent over she sucked in air as she lifted her head to look at the one that clearly had skill, but lacked the physical signs of a skilled warrior. He had even apologized for cutting her, a silly thing to do. Her frown turned up slightly at the corner, still panting. This one was a strange little warrior, one she would wish to fight again. With that thought she mustered her strength and pulled herself up into an elegant, composed state. She dashed in, sword at her side, before unleashing a diagonal slash at the boy. HP: 2

HP: 10 When Kana stumbled backwards and began to gasp for breath, he knelt down to pick up his weapon. He kept his wounded side away from the cursed female and he actually waited for her to get back to her feet. he wasn't certain if she was smiling at him, and that thought was odd. His head tilted to one side. His distraction nearly got himself slashed in half. "Eek!" He squeaked at her sudden rush and slash. Wilhelm jerked his weapon up to counter the blow, with more success then he had previously. Wincing slightly he lifted a foot and kicked out at Kana's chest again. "Please lay down now?" He asked her.

Kana cursed silently, her strength failing her resulting in a blocked move. Then she felt the sharp blow to her already bruised chest and what little air she had in her lungs left in a hurry. Staggering back she dropped to one knee, digging her sword into the stone to remain upright. Panting hard she looked up at the squirrel warrior, one eye closed. She said nothing but the glint in her narrowed eye clearly revealed her intent to return and fight with him again. Then her eye slid closed and she slumped slightly against her bloodied katana. HP: 0
