Skaalbjorn was laying beneath a tree near his little pond that held such tasty fish. Today was an ungodly hot summer and he was half dead from the insufferable heat. Panting slightly he had the slight idea to take a dip in the lake. It might make the world feel a little less unbearable.
Rising to his feet was an effort, for his size and the hot air made his body not want to cooperate. Shaking off the dust that had settled on his milk white hide when he was lazing around he walked slowly to the water and stepped into it. The water was warmer near the surface but as he got deeper in he felt the water cooling. "Ahhh... Now this is more like it." He felt a fish boldly slip around one of his feet and the thought of the creature set his stomach to growling. Dunking his head under the water he snapped at the slippery creature, missing the first time but snapping him up the second. He raised his head out of the water and turned the fish in his mouth, swallowing it whole. "Nothing like fish on a hot summer day." He said happily when his mouth was clear.
