 HP: 20 One battle would not decide his worthiness. Of this Shouless was confident. He took to the battlefield as soon as his wounds had healed. A sai in each hand as he stalked out the enemy. When he spied Marciel, it was the flutter of his tail that caught his attention. Surely a sign of the Dark Gods favor, and a worthy opponent. Shouless did not announce his attack in anyway. he simply strode up to Marc and tried to stab him in the chest.

 HP: 18Marcial couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. Maybe it was the shadows warning him. The priest was on his guard and when the cursed attack he managed to get away with only a scratch to his chest and not impalement. He jumped back, new spear in hand and a launched the smaller pointed end at his foe with the push of a button. A chain trailed behind it for easy retrieval or to trip up foes.

Shouless made no comment or sound in connection to his less then satisfying strike. He tensed his body and waited for the counter attack. When it came in the form of the spear head shooting a him, he used one of his sai's to smack the blade head away from his chest. it scored across his rib cage, leaving a scratch and nothing more. Shouless immediately leapt forwards to try and stab Marciel in the shoulder while the spear head was not yet retracted.

The cursed hit his mark. The blade bit deep into Marcial's shoulder. The preist was obviously not amused. He made a swift moment with his spear, trying to hit the cursed with the body of it. He willed the shadows to gather up the chain under his foe's feet, hoping to trip him up.

Shouless felt the weapon hit his body enough to garuntee a monster of a bruise later. When he felt something around his ankles though, he gave a jump. Leaping up vertically, he snapped a kick up at Marcials chin before coming back down on a single foot.

The kick set Marcial flat on his a**. He shook the stars from his vision as he retracted the end of his spear. He stood before charging at the cursed with the larger end pointed directly at his chest.

Shouless stopped. he stood and waited while mutely staring at Marciel shaking his head clear. he waited until his foe got back to his feet, and then he took a battle stance with one sai over his head and the other guarding his front. Marc's charge was mostly successful. He managed to stab his weapon into Shouless' chest and through his armor. But the cursed hooked one of the tines of his weapon against the shaft of Marc's spear to keep it from going any further. His other weapon he brought down to try and stab one of Marc's arms.

Blood began to pour for Marcial's left arm. He grunted, pulled a dagger from his leg and tried to get in a good stab to his opponent's neck.

Shouless was not quick enough to avoid the dagger. he had underestimated his opponent by assuming the spear was his only weapon. he staggered to one side, blood pouring from his neck wound. Yet he gave no sound of frustration. he merely launched into a series of four quick stabs at Marc's chest in retaliation.

The cursed left him feeling like a pin cushion. His shirt was now stained red. Be he couldn't allow himself to falter now. He jumped back, aiming his spear again at the cursed chest and set it in motion with the button. He used the shadows to try to keep it on his mark.

Shouless opted to keep moving after his successful series of strikes. Marciel was a un-nerving pockettu and he felt the creep of shadows about him. His eyes never blinked and his mask of course showed no expression as he was nearly speared through by the others weapon. Now, as before, he twisted to one side. The weapon grazed him and left a deep bleeding gouge, but did not impale him as it could have. Shouless spun about in a complete circle, then flung one of his sai's at marc's chest as hard as he could.

The attack caught the side of his ribcage, but now that they were close, Marcial went for another take with his dagger. He spun around and tried to drive it into the cursed's chest.

In perhaps the first sign of impatience, Shouless chose not to block Mar's dagger. he took it deep into the chest, but did so because it offered him a larger opening to stab Marc with his remaining sai.

Marcial felt the pain but his senses were already going numb. He coughed up a bit of blood, sinking to the floor. The shadows seemed to try to act as a cushion, but when Marcial fainted, his shadowy tail had all but disappeared.
