[Nguvu Tamaa]

About the pride:
Nguvu Tamaa is the other half of the pride Mizani'Ulimwengu
The pride is based off the sith from the Star Wars universe
All characters welcome in the pride; though familiars should be bonded with a member

The pride name comes from the words Power and Ambition in Swahili

The Tail of the Sith:

Aki and his mate/apprentice Penda left the Jedi in search of a different way to use the force. During their travels Aki was filled with emotions, something he hadn't felt since he was a young cub. He felt betrayal toward the his deceased master, hatred for the one who replaced him as Grand Master and of course passion toward the mate who had barred him cubs. (all of which were left at the jedi pride)

He made his way over the mountains to a nice secluded area, still near the jedi pride. Him and his mate decided to make this their temporary home until they decided what to do with their lives.

Every night Aki would have visions of the future, Jedis fighting against others, these others were filled with hatred just like him. Instead of being taught peace these force wielding creatures relied on chaos. Soon Aki would realize it was his destiny to create these others. He would call them the Sith.

He started with his own mate. He twisted her mind, filled her with loathing and jealousy. He convinced her that the Jedis were their enemy and they would need to recruit more

He searched for others who had darkness in their hearts and persuaded them to join him. He had every intention of destroying the Jedi with the Sith army he was building up. Once he had enough Sith he took them Over the mountains and attacked the Jedi. To his surprise the Jedi prevailed and drove back the Sith. The strong managed to escape Jedi capture. Penda wasn't so lucky.

Aki tried to build up another army, to avenge Penda, but he was aged and could not battle anymore. In the end he took his own life, leaving the Sith to figure out who to rule. Fights broke out and their was a slaughter of Sith. They begun killing their own kind. Once order was built the Sith decided to move their pride away from the Jedi, to insure their secrets were safe.

A couple generations later they witness a great plague that lowered their numbers. It was than the 'rule of two' was established. The Sith Lord decided there would only be two Sith's at a time. One Master and one apprentice.

However once Majanga became the new Sith Lord, he decided to bring back the ways of the old. He started with one apprentice named Drox. Once Drox betrayed him, he decided to try a different route. N'uul was the first of many apprentices. He had the desire to start a new, controlled Sith empire.

Pride Rules:

LOLZ THERE ARE NO RULES

1. Any relationship with the Jedi that is not in the form of hatred is not allowed, except if done for the Sith's gain.

2. Having a mate is rare. Flings are much more common. If a fling happens with a rogue female, the sith (if known she had cubs) the Sith is expected to steal the cubs (or part of the cubs).

3. Respect of your superiors is a must. There is no tolerance for any young Sith who disobey their superiors in the pride. They will be punished (IC of course)

Ranks

The Lord of the Sith: Leader of the Sith. His word is law. (1)

High Lord/Lady: Higher up of the council of Lords. They help keep things in control. (7)


Lord's Hands: The Hands are Sith's who are trained personally by the Lord of the Sith. They are his/her most trusted members. They are usually trained by him at a young age or born in the Sith. He trains them in secret and are usually seen as regular members. However they go on secret missions when he tells them to. (1-6)

Lord's Eyes: The Lord's eye are Sith Seers who the Sith Lord uses to see future events. Like the hands, this is a secretive rank. In fact, usually the lord of the sith keeps them hidden from the rest of the pride members. (2)(must be a seer)

Sith Masters: Those who have made it through their training. They are the ones who go on the missions and the more experienced ones are given Acolyte's to train. (Unlimited)

Fallen Jedi: This is the rank that is for Jedi who have fallen to the dark side. They are treated like any other members. They can rise to Sith Lord/Lady if they choose. (Unlimited)(ex-Jedi start here)

Sith Acolyte: Acolytes are the apprentices to the Sith Masters. They usually do not have a close relationship to the Master that picks them, but are expected to have respect toward their teachers and obey their orders. (born in members start here)(Unlimited)

Prospective Sith: Are members who desire to become acolyte. They battle against each other, in hopes of getting the attention of a Master. This rank includes hunting, and most of the brute work for the pride. (rogues start here)(Unlimited)

Naming Ceremony: Once a Acolyte has proven themselves worthy, they are brought before the circle of Lords to be given a name and the title Darth. Sith names cannot be repeated, there can only be one with a particular Sith name.

Tattoo:

Once given their name the new Master is taken to a deep tunnel where the naming ceremony is completed. They are given a tattoo to prove their loyalty to the Sith. Getting the tattoo is a painful experience. The tattoos are always unique to the individual, though it isn't uncommon to have the symbol of the sith on tattooed onto them.


The tattoos are usually done in red or black. Red representing the murder the Sith has done while black shows the sacrifices the Sith has made.

Other colors can be used, though nothing bright, only dark colors are welcome for the tattoos.

The tattoos can be complicated like this or simple like Darth Bane's face tattoos

*Not all sith have to have tattoos. Instead of tattoos some get piercings. As long as it is a physical devotion to the sith, it will count.

*Not all sith must have a Darth name.

Personality: Tired of the constant struggle and disillusioned by survival, Ruyken is a brooding and silent adult who will attack at the slightest provocation. Jedi, Sith.. it doesn't matter to him, everyone is his enemy and he trusts no one.
History: As a younger leopard, he was always full of anger and violence. Having been taken in as a cub by a cold-hearted self-obsessed female to be her pawn and slave, Ruyken's early existence was harsh and painful, suffering daily beatings and forced constantly to train. When he hit adolescence, he snapped and fought back, killing the female and promptly fled the scene of his crime. Life on his own wasn't much better as he found himself constantly fighting for his very survival. Eventually he came across Majanga who recruited him as an apprentice while he was still only an adolescent.

(new section smile Under Majanga's guidence he learned to channel his hatred and polished his fighting style until he was as close to the perfectly cold assassin one can get. He refuses to acknoladge any emotion, living only with the ever present burn of his anger.

Note: With his red and black coat completely natural, he never needed a tattoo to declare his allegiance as a Sith. Indeed, it is believed that he was in fact born of an older sith bloodline from before the plague, his ancestor in all likelyhood having fled the sickness in order to survive and thus start the rogue bloodline that resulted in Ruyken.
