Mirrorspace was a nice, interesting place, where nothing made sense and every time you felt like you had figured something out or found something interesting, it turned out just to be in your mind. There were times when Remarque could get lost and spend hours there, and times when fifteen minutes and he had to step out to take care of a headache.
Tonight he'd been somewhere in the middle; he hadn't been in there for as long as he would have liked, but he wound up frustrated and wanting to be free of the place. Walking in circles, doors locking around him.
No, tonight he would rather search the alleys of Destiny City and drain the energy of anyone foolish enough to give him the opportunity. Moving from the hallway he'd become locked in, he was thankful that there always seemed to be a mirror within plain sight, no matter how lost you got lost, there was always a way out.
He stepped through one of the long, pristine mirrors and got halfway through before he realized that there was someone standing in front of his mirror of choice. He wasn't expecting it and nearly blinked into the Dark Mirror Senshi, though froze at the last minute and looked down at her. "I was not expecting company here," he said, seeming a bit surprised. "You seem to have good taste in mirrors. I don't know you, though. Are you new, or…?"
Or was he just that out of things?
