nessiaing:Marwa sat at the beaches edge the water slowly lapping up at her feet, she was contemplating taking a swim. Marwa was a strong swimmer but she wasn't the best of fishers with her bright red fur the fish always saw her coming half a mile away. Marwa knew she was beautiful her parents had always told her that, but so many others in the pride had these brilliant blues and greens that even as a cub she had been jealous of.

She slowly lifted one of her paws and brought it down into the water quickly making it splash. She giggled still young at heart, red or not Marwa loved the water.

Seaki: It had taken longer than Galjoen liked to get used to the water again. He had feared it for the longest time, and the night terrors still plagued him occasionally. He had moved inland for a long period of time, but he found himself missing home.

So here he was, tentatively walking along the beach, near wincing with every crash of the waves against the shore. He used to find the sound soothing, and he was sure that with time he would find it soothing again.

But right now, it was terrifying. They had, after all, nearly spelled his death...

nessiaing: Marwa saw the aqua colored lion with a sandy mane coming her way. He was beautiful, he looked like he belonged on the beach, unlike her she looked like she belonged on the side of a vocano.

As she studdied the lion she noticed that he appeared to be wincing. She wondered at first if perhaps he was injured. But then she realized that everytime he winced the waters hit his paws. This confused her greatly the waters should be healing to him not hurting him. Slowly she raised to her feet sad to leave the water, dangerous as it may be it was still her favorite place she just had more respect for it now.

She made her way over to the male, "Are you alright?" she asked as she got closer

Seaki: Galjoen sucked in a startled breath upon hearing the voice of another. He hadn't expected for anyone to see his cowardly display. He was quite lucky he had completed his rights of passage before everything happened, since he'd never be able to pass it now.

"Um, u-fine," he muttered, looking away in utter embarrassment. Such a pretty lady as well - this was actually a terrible situation. She reminded him of the red seastars he often spent his cub-hood looking for in the rock pools.

nessiaing: Marwa cocked her head to the side. She didn't think he was telling her the truth. Unsure if she should call him out or not she decided for now just to walk along side him on the beach.

It was about time she made some more firends and she felt like this lion maybe could use her help. "My name's Marwa" she told him. She watched him out of the corner of her eye as the walked. Studying him hoping to learn more about him.

Seaki: The aqua-green lion wanted to just run. It wasn't that he was normally skittish, but things happened to make him so. He hated it, and he wanted it to be much better. "I'm Galjoen," he responded, kind of rocking on his toes.

He nearly jumped out of his fur when the water reached higher on his ankles than it had been. His breathing quickened and he panicked a bit until the water receded back into the larger body.

He wanted to cry, but he wouldn't. He didn't want to really. "I'm not really fine..." he admitted quietly.

nessiaing: Marwa smiled she was happy that he admitted the truth to her. She had known he wasn't really okay and she noticed that as the tide came in further and further. She frowned for a minute trying to figure what she cold do to help Galjeon right now.

"Why dont we switch sides" she said, this was she would be closer to the water then him, and hopefully if the water didn't touch him he wouldn't be as uneasy. She had a feeling that wouldn't be enough but it would be a start.

"Do you want to talk about it?" she offered, she wasn't sure if she was going to be able to help at all or offer advice but maybe just her listening to his troubles would help him.

Seaki: Galjoen quickly bounces to the lioness's other side was the water began to rise again. He was grateful for her offer, but eyed the water suspiciously. "Um, where should I start?" he asked. He frowned a bit. What good was he if he was frightened of the water after all.

"I nearly drown, when the Tsunami came, and I... I can't quite shake the feeling that I'll just slip..." Slip into the water and never come back up again. It was terrifying to him.

nessiaing: Marwa nodded her head along. She was pretty sure there was a number of lions in the pride that were now more then a little jumpy about the water. The Tsunami had surprised them all. Thankfully Marwa had been fairly fair in land when it hit and she was relatively unscathed.

"You need to make you peace with the water. Find your balance with it again." Marwa knew to someone outside of the pride she would have sounded crazy but she hoped Galjeon would understand what she was trying to say. "You don't have to go far into the water to do it. Maybe even just on the edge would be okay. I could help you if you want." She turned to look at him to see if anything she said was making sense to him.

Seaki: He looked nervously at her. It would make sense... He could try. It would probably take a lot longer than today, but he needed to. This was his home and he didn't want to leave. He couldn't leave. "Okay, okay," he murmured.

It took a moment, but he let his feet into the water. He was shaking as it pressed around his ankles before it snaked away again. He took a deep breath and attempted not to jump away when the water hit his feet again.

It was a start, at least.

nessiaing: Marwa smiled it was a start. She would work on him and over time she would get him back in the water and feeling at home.
