This is an invitation only RP event. Participants are selected from the list of volunteers wishing to be more active in the shop and/or to make some new friends. Events range from meta-centric to just RPs promoting players to interact with each other and build character relationships. These are mini-ORPs, in a sense, and even those that seem trivial in the grand scheme of things might be more than meets the eye...
To be added to this list, PM the mule.
This event is for two participants.
Character requirements:
Right place, right (wrong?) time.
Beyond this, characters are free to be anything and are encouraged to act completely IC, including but not limited to attacking NPCs (the animals played by Hope), walking away abruptly, and so on. If your event ends up being too short, you will be given another, so fear not.
This thread is locked and this event will not be open until September.

The Situation:
Your characters have found themselves in the forest near the Huum Chaak Waterfall in Quadrant 1.
It's summer, and though you may not know it depending on whether or not this is your first time here, it's around the hottest time of the year. Not unbearable, but a muggy sort of heat that's just enough to set you on edge and make one wish they weren't weighed down by fur.
To make matters worse, something is dead and rotting. You know that scent. Maybe you or one of your siblings tried to store meat for too long when you were younger. Maybe you've just traveled enough you've gained some semblance of familiarity with it. Whatever the reason, that distinct odor of long dead is enough to make you want to turn and go the other way.
But then you hear it...
And so do you, the other wolf whom just happened to be heading the same way from the opposite direction.
The plaintive cries of a puppy are getting louder and louder.
