 HP: ******** healers. Screw generals. Riorden decided to pick his foes based on whoever looked the most fun. And this big hat pirate guy looked like a party. Hopping over some rubble, Riorden came up swinging his left fist at Argo unannounced.

 Argo was likewise searching for a fight, but his first. He had been helping others instead of fighting, but now that they had a stable fall-back point, he'd gone out. The fight came to him, however, as he heard movement and turned, catching part of that fist on his ear. He didn't betray any look of surprise, his demeanor staying the same, that of calm, as he aims an uppercut at the cursed while he pivots. HP: 18

HP: 16Riorden grunted as the pirate clocked him but good. With his jaw smarting, he lashed out with a spinning kick in the hopes of catching the other off guard.

Argo's expression never changed as he ducks, the kick knocking his hat off, but nothing else, and he comes back up with yet another uppercut aimed at his chin. HP: 17

Riorden suspected that the pirate would try to punch him again,a nd he managed to nearly avoid the blow. Grinning widely at the somber pirate, he snapped another kick up at him. "You look funny."

Argo caught most of the kick that time, stumbling back, and all he does is arch a brow as he finally deigns to pull one of his scythes free of its strap on his back, moving back in to swing it at Rio's midsection.

HP: 13"Whoa there matey!" Riorden laughed as he twisted to one side. The blade cut him across the hip, and he lunged in to try and smack the pirate in the face with a open palm.

Argo backed up but caught the palm, snapping his head back a little; he tries to return the favor ,bringing the haft of the scythe up horizontally to try and catch him under the chin. HP: 11

HP: 12Riorden's eyes were bright as he felt the firmness of his strike. When Argo tried to hit him with the shaft of his weapon, he jerked his head to one side. He was clipped on the chin but it hardly hurt. "That the best you got fancy hat?" He mocked while attempting to hit Argo between the eyes with his fist.

Argo wasn't phased by his near miss and tried to turn with the cursed, feeling his fist sting his ear as he did so. He feinted bringing the scythe up again, instead bringing his knee up to his gut for his true attack. HP: 9

HP: 11 Honestly. Riorden was nearly caught by the feint. He noticed the stance of Argo's feet a split second before he went to block the scythe sweep. Hastily he jerked his butt backwards, allowing him to nearly avoid the gut strike. "Ha! What kinda pirate are you? I thought you were supposed to be fun!" He mocked before attempting to headbutt Argo in his own stomach.

Argo frowned as he pivots to avoid the headbutt, trying to bring an elbow down atop his head. "One that follows death. And I may, perhaps have fun with my crew, but not with the likes of you." HP: 8

HP: 8 Oh wow that rather hurt! Riorden winced as the elbow cracked down on his skull. Blinking his eyes he stood up and took a swing at Argo's face. "You? A death goony?" He gave a sharp laugh of amusement.

The cursed moved more swiftly after a tough blow like that than he thought he would, and Argo took the fist solidy in his face that time. He was pretty sure his nose was broken, as blood leaked from it, but he merely grunted. "What pirate does not have a healthy respect for death?" He asks, before freeing one hand from his scythe and trying to return the favor. HP: 4

HP: 6"One that's as boring as the sea with no wind!" Riorden said with a vauge smirk. he blinked as Argo tried to punch him back. He leaned back, winceing at what was sure to be a good bruise later. Riorden hopped back, then lashed a kick upwards at the others chin.
