The day had been long, dreary. The humidity combined with the summer air made the world feel hot and sweaty, and warm rain doing nothing to comfort those uncomfortable and unfortunate to be caught outside. Not so for Kallichore, who kept to the underground tunnels full of cool, crisp air most of the time. The only problem was, with little airflow, if any at all, the place became stale and uncomfortable in its own right and without food, one could only stay underground for so long.

She was seen topside then in only her eternal form to keep from getting spotted too easily. She stayed powered up more often than not in order to defend herself and others. If she was ambushed now, at least she'd have the time to fire off one attack, maybe more. But defending herself was lower on the priority list. Kallichore had found an old retail store, something similar to a Walgreens, that had been mostly abandoned. A few items like toiletries and medicine still hung on the disheveled store shelves. The eternal managed to find a small bag of corn chips wedged between two old shampoo bottles.

She picked one up and popped the top open to smell it. "Apple." she commented to no one in particular and continued her oddball shopping trip.
