BRIEF HISTORY Ksenia was born to a pureblood witch and a half-blood who, soon after, left her mother. She was a quiet child who never liked to get in any trouble, and her mother loved her. Nothing seemed to be difficult in her life, it was all simple. Ksenia never had an issue with not having a father or being an only child, it was actually very comforting for her. It also didn't take very long for Ksenia to start displaying the traits of a witch either, which excited her mother even more.
When she turned eleven, Ksenia was granted a letter of acceptance to Hogwarts. She and her mother shopped in Diagon Alley happily a few weeks before Ksenia was to be sent off to Hogwarts. She got custom tailored robes, brand new books, a nice cauldron, and all other supplies brand new and beautiful. She hadn't really known that much about magic growing up, so it made her excited to get to learn more about where she came from.
After arriving at Hogwarts Ksenia was sorted as a Slytherin and she fell easily into her position. She was still rather quiet in Hogwarts, however she made friends quickly, it really didn't take much. She had a lot of fun being in Hogwarts, and it opened her up quite a bit. Ksenia grew into a very extroverted girl who didn't care about what people thought about her, however it was very easy to see that she tended not to care about other feelings, and sometimes she had no feelings of her own.
She graduated with high grades and a lot of money under her belt -- she never really realised that her mother was filthy rich. She had a boyfriend from school who she was still very close with, they were even thinking about getting married. They were together for years after that, as well. Up until she got pregnant. As soon as she announced that she was with child, her boyfriend bolted, along with a good chunk of her money. Ksenia was upset with the fact, however she tried not to let if affect her. She went back to her mother who cheered her up, and sold her old home not wanting the memories of her boyfriend.
Her pregnancy went smoothly, and she seemed happy the entire time. She was given the news she was having twins late in her pregnancy which made her a bit nervous, but at the same time even happier. After her beautiful twins, Maisie and Dmitri, were born Ksenia had a short case of the 'baby blues' that lasted a few weeks afterwards. She was lucky she had her mother to look after them, because Ksenia couldn't even look at them. She sat around for those weeks not eating, staying silent, sleeping often, and having mood swings. After this passed, Ksenia was quick to devote her life to taking care of her children.
Maisie and Dmitri were the apples of her eye, and they were very pampered. After all, even after her boyfriend had taken a bit of their money, the Reed family had a lot of money to their name. Ksenia home schooled her children, doing exactly as her mother had as she raised Ksenia. Her mother did help now and again, after all Ksenia had to get back into shape after having children and had to keep good health, after all. She ran often and sometimes went to muggle gyms to lift. After having her kids she being a bit of a health freak.
Years of doing this and staying a bit secluded made Ksenia a bit stir-crazy, and she was tired of just staying inside 24/7. Therefore she moved the family to Hogsmeade so she was actually able to leave her home without the fear of some muggle finding out about magic and tried to get a job in the wizarding world so she wasn't living off her family's funds, after all she didn't want them to run dry.

Maisie stands at only 143 cm, and really she won't be getting much taller. Sadly, she got the short end of the stick on this one... She has dark brown hair that falls slightly lower than her mid-back, and she really doesn't plan on cutting it any time soon, after all it took so long just to get it to that length... Maisie's eyes are a piercing grey that often appear as a pale blue or green; they're one of her best features, according to her. Her nose and cheeks are dotted with tons of freckles, however they seem to be fading as she's getting older which saddens her slightly. After all, Maisie rather likes her freckles, it's going to be a shame to see them fade into her normal skin tone... Maisie doesn't really have a defined style outside of Hogwarts, after all she's still young. She'll pretty much wear anything that makes her feel good upon wearing it, which basically means, well...anything, really.

Maisie Reed was born only a few minutes before her twin, Dmitri, however she insists that she's the older of the two. It has quite a bit to do with the fact that she's never liked to be perceived as the weaker or more dependant of the two, even from a young age. Her mother never quite understood her; Maisie liked to do everything alone, and if someone were to try and help her she'd have a fit. Those few times that Ksenia ever put the twins in a daycare Maisie often wasn't allowed back having bit the workers there. It didn't really help that Ksenia often coddled the twins, and kept her eyes on the two 24/7. It had always irritated Maisie, and she often would throw a fit or have a temper tantrum if her mother was annoying her.
Having a twin never helped either. Even though Dmitri was often one that was just as independent as she, it always seemed he was hanging around her. This was the foundation to most of their fights as children, however it seemed that Dmitri never wavered while Maisie flung insults in his direction. Soon Maisie simply started to enjoy Dmitri's company a bit more, however she still doesn't like him hanging around her so much. In her eyes it's a weakness, he seems to be so dependent on her, and Maisie doesn't like that. She hopes that they're in different houses just so he learns how to depend on himself rather than her. Don't get her wrong, she loves her brother, however she thinks that he should really stop relying on Maisie -- she's not going to be there for him forever.
Of course, even though she's been coddled since birth she knew she'd have some independence soon. It was a well known fact to both of the Reed children that Ksenia was a witch, after all she didn't really hide it from them. They lived in a rather secluded area, so it wasn't hard to use magic to clean dishes or some kind of mess, plus every once in a while Ksenia would show her children her abilities; Maisie was always entranced by magic. She couldn't wait until she was able to go to Hogwarts and have her own wand and learn spells herself. She knew that as soon as she got into Hogwarts, her life would be different. She'd have a bit more independence then before, but she would still have rules guiding her, just as she needed. After all, she couldn't function without rules of some sort, that just terrifies her. Not having something to live by? How do people do it?
Once they moved Maisie thought she'd have a bit more freedom then when they lived close to muggles -- that made sense, didn't it? They weren't around non-magical folk, therefore the twins could actually hang out around town? No, that didn't happen. Maisie and Dmitri were still stuck inside 24/7... They were allowed out with their mum, however Maisie would've enjoyed being out there on her own. It just would've made everything more comfortable for her.
Now that she's on her way to Hogwarts, Maisie's excited that she'll finally have the freedom that she craves. Sure, she may look totally emotionless, but that doesn't mean she's any less happy about finally being out from under her mother's watchful eyes. She may like rules, but being under watch all the time wasn't enjoyable.

Dmitri is just about 153 cm tall, not particularly tall quite yet, but from what he's heard about his father he could possibly shoot up to nearly 183 cm, which is definitely something to look forward to. He has short dark brown hair that he rarely ever does anything with unless they're going to some formal event. While he doesn't like doing anything with his hair, sometimes it's necessary to look your best. Dmitri has dark hazel eyes which tend to change colour depending on the light and what he's wearing; usually they just appear as a dark brown or nearly black with blue flecks in them. His usual dressing style outside of school isn't really well defined. He prefers warmer clothes being that he tends to be cold, and usually he wears longer-sleeved clothing. Dmitri's style hasn't really been set in stone, especially because he's only twelve years old.

Dmitri was born after his sister, making him the 'younger' twin, although he'd never considered himself as such. Always one to be secretly looking out for his sister, Dmitri considered himself the older twin, however he knew that his sister would never go for that, so he always led her to believe that he believed her. While an infant Dmitri was a breeze, his mother had little to no issues with him which was an absolute treat considering how difficult Maisie was. Even when put into daycare, Dmitri caused no issue and actually rather liked the change in scenery. He also found it rather humorous that his sister was constantly getting herself into trouble.
Dmitri had always loved being around his sister simply because he knew that it infuriated her. He found it hilarious whenever they got into fights, while it simply steamed her up. Of course, Dmitri always had more of a link to Maisie then she ever had to him. He felt the need to be around her all the time, as well the strange obsession with feeling the need to protect her. She always hated it, but Dmitri could never help it, it was simply how he was. He knows that it looks like he simply relies on her 24/7, but that isn't the case, he just wants her to know that he's there if need-be.
Dmitri had always fantasized about going to Hogwarts as well, excited that one day he'd be able to meet people that have magical abilities just as he did. After all, Dmitri was actually able to harness a bit of his magic as a child, although it had been very difficult for him and often wore him out. Of course, he just wished that they were intelligent, after all he didn't want to be associated with complete idiots, did he? Dmitri knew that they'd probably be the same as most other children his age, however he had been hoping at least one wasn't. Now that they're going to be heading off, Dmitri finds it rather hard to contain his excitement about going, however he's been a little less so considering his mother is going to be one of their teachers...
