Mithril Beach Town!
Welcome to the small and cozy town of Mithril, commonly called Mithril Beach Town, which holds a small local grocery, an arcade filled up with old and moderately new games (Including a DDR game!), a few restaraunts that are all local, and right near the pier on the west side of Mithril Beach, there's a McDonalds.
The streets are about sea level and there are houses for rent and a small four story motel on the East Side of the beach. There aren't any palm trees around town, and most of the streets are covered with sand. The people who live there are nice and don't usually make much out of a few Rians causing some trouble. Seagulls are usually hungry and might pester you if you eat outside at the McDonalds for too long, however, so you might want to watch out!
Some of the resturaunts are:
Morning's Grill (A burger/hangout/food/nice place to just chill! They've got a deck that lets you see onto the ocean, as does SeaShells and the Arcade... but Morning's is the only 24-hour breakfast, lunch, and dinner any time you want! Of course, this also means the name has nothing to do with the resturaunt. They do make a good burger, however.)
Dacie's Cafe' (Coffee. Yum. Dacie's is a cheaper version of Starbucks.. or at least in Dacie's opinion.)
Cerulean Arcade (Yes. There is a small resturaunt in the arcade. surprised But then again, what wouldn't an arcade be without a concession stand?!)
Mithril Bakery (Ooh! so many delacies, so little time! Oh. They sell breakfast, too.)
[The] 8-Ball (Bar. With pool tables and a jukebox. Juuukebooox. ^^)
SeaShells ( Like.. only the fanciest place in town! Shrimp, escargo, lobster tails! Ew... I mean, yum! ^^; )
Some of the small double beach houses are up for rent! And since the landlord isn't too picky, they aren't that much either. ^^

Keila walked from the pier into the town, looking around the streets where they were. There was an arcade, and she smiled.
"Hey! Look over there! That place looks neat." to their right, there was this place called McDonalds. She had no idea what that was.
And then there was another place beside the arcade called Morning's Grill. She spun around. "Um.. I don't know where to go... Where do you wanna go, Kai?" she started walking backwards, arms folded behind her.

She walks around the town keeping her backpack close to her. Seeing a mcdonalds, she walks in slowly, telling the wiater her order of chiken nuggets with a small fry, and a samll drink. She thanks him and takes her seat in the restraunt

"Lets head to Mornings" he says pointing at the sign as he begins to walk slowly. He looks at the signs and everything that was the hustle and bustle of a shore type town. All the fun right by the beach. He looks up at the sky carelessly as he walks into the resturaunt and gets a table for two. He follows the waiter to thier table and sits down lightly.

Keila looked out the window as they sat. The inside of the resturaunt was truly interesting with pitures and magazine covers and little references to the ocean were haphazardly strung among the walls and ceiling, ceiling fans that were turning lazily above them painted to look like airplane propellers. She admired the ocean and then looked at the menu in front of her. It was spiffy-looking and red on the front, green on the back of that, blue on the next page, and orange on the back of that page. So colorful indeed. She opened the menu and stared at all of the foods with wide eyes.
"Soooo muuch!" she said while eagerly devouring the words about the foods that they were serving. Keila looked up. Most of it was spaced out and there were pictures of the food sometime, but it all looked cool. "What are you going to have, Kai?"
A waitress in a pallete blue shirt (again with the oceany theme) walked up to them with a smile. "Perfect timing, then, huh? What would you two like to drink?"
Keila looked down at the menu. "Eh... Um.. um... um... What is there to drink?"
"Well, hun, we have iced tea, orange juice, lemonade, soda.."
"Ooh! Soda! What kind, what kind!?" her eyes sparkled. Soda tasted good.
"Eh, we serve Coke products." the lady said, pen poised over a notepad now.
Keila opened her mouth and took in a breath, slowly turning her head to Kai. "What are "Coke Products"? Does that mean they have Coke?"

He smirks at her antics. "Yes that means they have coke...and other sodas that the people who make coke also make.." he smirks. "Ill take a cherry coke...could you put cherries in it also?" he says looking at the waitress. He was still looking through his menu and had no idea what he wanted to eat yet...He was enjoying the theme of this resturaunt however with its ocean decor...and fan props. It was very amusing.
"Could we get a few more minutes on our orders?? Im not quite ready yet." he says smiling at the waitress. Then looking over at Keila. "unless your ready to order?...you can if you are."He says his smirk still in place. He was starting to get blurry eyed slightly and it felt like the room was spinning..but for the most part he was doing a good job of keeping himself steady aand acting normal.

"Oh." she listened to him and then turned up to the waitress. Her name tag read Lisa, in curvy writing, obviously her own.
"I'll have what he's having!" Keila said cheerfully, looking up with a smile. Lisa returned it.
"Okay, two Cherry Cokes, extra cherries, then!" she finished writing it on the pad and nodded. Keila looked at the menu and made a 'hmmmnn' sound, thinking. "I'll take a minute longer at the menu, I think." she said with an affirmative return nod. She seemed to be copying Lisa a bit.
"If you guys need anything, I'll be right back out." She smiled and headed back towards the kitchen. Keila looked out the window and kicked her feet against the chair before returning back to Kai, smiling.
"I've never been in a restaraunt like this before.. it's interesting! Or one by the ocean, but whatever." she giggled for a moment, palming the menu before flipping it open. "Now... let's see..." she looked at the menu while chewing her tongue in descision before looking up. "Hey, wait.. are you sure you'll have enough money? I don't want to be bothersome.."

He smirks at Keila antics. "Im sure ill have enough..." he says as he looks at the menu and finally makes up his mind on what to get. He sets the menu down closing it and he grabs the desert menu quick and hides it under the table. Then he turns around and looks around the resturaunt. Sneakily he moves the menu to where he was looking and looks at the deserts. ninja ninja cool . He then turns back around sneakily putting the menu back on his lap.
"So you know what you want?" he says smiling.

Keila smiled at him then looked back down at her menu, eyes darting over it nervously. "Okay.. I just don't want to a pain in the wallet or something.." She looked up and shook her head, giggling. "That was really bad, I think..."
She continued flipping through the menu, not noticing his sneak at the desserts.
"Well.. I think maaaayybe I want a burger with pickles and ketchup and mustard.. and... um... um... um... cheese."

Haruko was walking along looking and smelling all the wonderful food that was out. He also passed by a magazine stand with the latest issue of The Adventures of Kankari! He was so excited that he lunged forward and ran into the magazine stand with realizing what he had grabbed. Instead of grabbing the comic book, he grabbed a girly magazine entitled Oops! He did it again! Since Haruko liked girls so much he decided to keep looking. After about the tenth page, the magazine stand owner hit Haruko over the head with a chair and knocked the magazine out of his hands. " No! I...must...see...more!" Haruko said crying. " Well, it was worth a try." Haruko just continued to walk as he stared at the girls who were in bikins. " I am starting to actually like this place. Haruko said to himself.

Haruko saw the boy, Balmung II, and ran up to him. " Hey you! You look like you are lost. Need some help?" Haruko asked him. " I have been here for about a year. So, I know my way around here. I even have a sister here! Her name is Marrow! She is really nice, but not to me!" Haruko just kept going on and on about his life here while grinning very big.

Kai looks at her and smiles. He nodds his head slightly then stops and holds his head with his hand closing his eyes tight.The whole world was spinning .....fast....He starts to wobble slightly in his seat then he gets control of himself. He takes a deep breath keeping his eyes closed and then he exhales slowly he opens his eyes slowly finding everything back in place.
"Sounds good to me.." he says acting as if nothing had happened. "we can order when the waitress comes back then" he says smiling weakly.

"Kai?" she looked at him when he suddenly clutched at his eyes and he was making the chair shake. "Kai,.." Keila muttered again after he was okay. "What's the matter?"
The waitress walked back over, looked slightly disturbed. She placed their drinks down and stood there for a moment, looking like she was trying to say something.
"Um.. is there something wrong?" Keila looked up to Lisa, who smiled somewhat.
"...Eh, no.." she replied after a moment, holding the tray against her stomach tightly. "I was just... sorry if this is rude, but I was wondering what your name was." she talked slowly, as if to a child. Well, Keila was a child, but she wasn't a three year old for god's sake..
"Oh! That's no problem! My name's Kei-," she stopped short, eyes opening. Keila wondered if there was something behind this. Were people still looking for her? If so... then her face would be all over missing posters. "-ra. My name's Keira." She finished with a smile, working her mind towards the waitresses like a snake and connected with it with speed similar to plugging in a USB cable. Lisa was worried, she knew that much. But yes.. she was trying to hold a mental image of a younger looking Keila inside her head. Keila immediately took hold of the image, fearful, and retreated, bringing the image into her own.
Lisa was staring, "hun, are you okay? You look kind of.. not okay." she smiled, doing that waitress thing. Smile, smile.
"Oh, yeah. I'm fine." Keila replied, smiling in the same manner. "I was just thinking about something."
She looked almost like she was asleep with her eyes open.. Lisa thought, and Keila had to sever the connection between their mind quickly to stop a flood of worrysome thoughts. I'm an idiot.. Keila bashed herself. How could I have been so stupid as to do that? she shook her head mentally.
"Anyway, I think I know what I want now." she sang. "I want.. um.. I want a burger, and fries.. and oh yeah, I want lots of pickles on the side! And cheese on it!" she nodded eagerly, kicking her feet against the chair again. "And... and... and... ketchup. Can I have some ketchup with my fries?"
Lisa laughed a little. "The ketchup's right there," she pointed to it, earning an "oooh...." from Keila. She then turned to Kai after scribbling down the order. "And what are you having?"
(( Is it just me, or do I have rollercoaster posts? Big, then super small, then really big.. and small again? XDDD ))
