Hi everyone! My name's Calae. ^^
I've just rejoined Gaia after a several year hiatus, and I've found that a lot has changed since I was last on. I joined BURN hoping to find a place where I can get to know people and make friends. =)
I'm not very good at introductions so I'll leave it at that. Hope everyone is having a good day!

Welcome to Burn = ) I am also curious what's brought you back to Gaia? I'm glad you found Burn and I do hope you stick around, it's such a wonderful place, albeit slow, but I've heard all guilds are that way right now. If you have any questions, feel free to PM any of the crew. Also, if you haven't already, go post in our Birthday thread. Some people like to wish people a happy birthday and some even like to give gifts!

Hello, I am Oz.
I apparently joined this guild a long time ago but I dipped on and off Gaia for a while. Apparently this is the only guild on my list that has survived the years and remained active, so I deemed it diving providence that I should start being more active in it.
I like drawing, reading, writing, cooking, playing Minecraft, playing Starbound, started playing Aura Kingdom. On Gaia I like to fish and draw avies for people. Irl, I'm an unofficial editor to my friends projects.

If you look around GCD there's at least one thread floating around asking about what the heck changed, which are responded pretty quickly, so I'd check it out.

Kayla: Nice to meet you! It makes me feel a tad better knowing a lot of these changes have happened only recently, because I feel less alone in getting used to them again. xD
To be honest, what brought me back was a desire for a sense of community/friends. I'm a recent college graduate, and many of my friends are now working, no longer near me (I am living in my college town versus my home town two hours away), or they're in some form of grad-school. As such, the times we get to actually hang out are much fewer with conflicting schedules/people wanting to just do nothing after working hard all day. I remembered being in another guild that was fairly active, and Gaia being a relatively fun place as a whole, so I thought I'd give it a shot as a way to make some more friends. =)
Previously on Gaia, I don't believe I was too active (especially not outside of guilds), but I'm hoping just to enjoy myself/get a sense of community this time around. I suppose we'll see! smile

It seems it's true that guilds are slower than they used to be...I looked up the one guild I could remember from last time I was on Gaia, and it seemed pretty dead. =(

Oz: Hi Oz! I think I may have been a part of this guild in the past, too -- at least, I felt I recognized it when I was checking out guilds! Sounds like we've got some similar interests, as I like reading and writing too! You said you play Minecraft -- do you watch the YouTube channels, Rooster Teeth and Let's Play? I've been getting a lot of amusement from watching their Minecraft Let's Plays recently. xD
