P e r s o n a l i t y:: Isaac is generally kind and patient, but silent. He likes to watch and listen before he does anything. He has seen many cruelties, so he generally chooses to avoid things he thinks to be mean or underhanded, though he has been known to take it upon himself to punish those he thinks deserves it. He is haunted by what he has gone through, but hides the fact well. Having a well-developed since of humor, it is not hard to amuse him or make him laugh, and he has been known to play a prank or two of his own. Despite having no children and no siblings, he can almost be said to be a fatherly figure. Indeed, he sees himself as a father a protector of his tribe, despite still being young and having a group of elders advising him. He isn’t known to be very selfish or demanding, but sometimes he can’t help but want to put himself first.
H i s t o r y:: Isaac was born to a wandering tribe of magic users. They live simply in a caravan that travelled the countryside, stopping for a few weeks at a time near towns and cities. The tribe made its money off of selling enchanted items, providing blessing and spells for homes, and giving fortune readings. It was a modest life, but no one could complain. Isaac’s early life was good, but then the lands they frequented came under the influence of a man who hated magic and the people turned on magic users, chasing his tribe from the region, killing many of them. Even after they left the region, hunters were hired to continue chasing them, harrying Isaac and his people for years. The time he spent running and hiding hardened him, but he has become stronger because of it. The leader of the tribe died shortly after they finally escaped the clutches of those hunting them. The tribe was in disarray until the elders put forth Isaac as a possible leader. Isaac was skilled with magic, had all the qualities of leader, and was well liked by the tribe. He was instantly agreed upon and given the positon at 31, becoming the youngest leader the tribe had ever seen. He has since become well-loved and respected for his decisions and abilities. He has helped the tribe grow and become prosperous once more, and is beginning to expand their travel routes. In preparation for the harsher winter they will be facing to visit new lands, Isaac has decided to find a slave that will be able to help the tribe move about and survive, and to also cater to his growing need to have someone just to talk to and be around.
