The Corrupt Senshi of Danger had been exposing himself too much to his previous, lost memories. Everything that he was seemed to have been destroyed, and the answers he was getting, the glimpses into the person he once was, were being to take a toll on his mind. He was strained and feeling confused and conflicted about who he was now. What he was meant to be doing.
He had his orders. They were always the same. Go out. Find senshi and knights. Kill them. Painite wanted very little of him, and spent even less time with him. She believed that he was capable, maybe, but more than that, she did not like him. She did not like corrupt senshi at all.
The only reason she took him was to hurt his family, the ones she told him about. The ones he was supposed to do anything in his power to hurt and destroy. She hated them, and he was her tool against them. Generally, for the last few months since being corrupted, he had been okay with that.
But after meeting Grus and Navi, as well as Tsui and seeing Shalott hurt by Painite, Chaonis was no longer sure what he was really here to do. If he had it in him to keep hurting these people who swore to him that they loved him, that he meant something more to them than he knew. All he had was more and more questions, to the point where his confusion was consuming him.
Tonight, he would be all too glad to run into something White Moon, someone who did not know him, so he could hurt them. Take out some of this pent up frustration and aggression out on them, and look good for his master while doing so. It would be a much more simple answer to his very complicated problems, though it would solve absolutely nothing for him.

There was no aura or order nearby, but there was in fact an aura weaker than his own of the same faction. In a nearby tree, a girl had hooked her legs about a particularly thick branch and was hanging down upside down. In this arrangement, she was doing a form of crunches. Her face was red from the blood constantly welling up in her mostly upside-down state. Her long braids were hitting the floor as a result, but she didn't seem to care. " .....87.....88.....89....." After all these years, the girl had finally figured out the whole aura-sensing thing, and paused briefly in her exercises. " Patrolling for the evening, Soldier?" The address was rather formal despite her rather informal appearance at the moment. He had a stronger aura, which meant that he was her superior, thus demanded respect. He opted to ignore her question, for the most part. He was not patrolling, per se. He was looking for trouble, for a fight, and maybe for a few answers. So long as his handler never found out, what was the different what he spoke to others about? Anyway, he could always get answers before killing any senshi or knight he found, right? Then he would be hitting two birds with one stone.
Though, something inside him wretched at that thought line.
"Why are you hanging like that?" He had not seen her chosen method for working out, only stirring from his thoughts when she spoke to him directly.

" I was training, Sir! I am Antiope, Super ranked Senshi of the Negaverse, Sir!" There was a manner of formality in her speech as she spoke to her superior. He might have been a senshi as well and ranked low in the Negaverse totem pole, but he was still technically a higher rank than herself. She would not act out of line with someone who outranked her. She remained in the tree, still upside down and face absolutely red enough to pop like a cherry tomato. It was a slight discomfort, and eventually she braved out an inquiry. " Permission to either continue with my training or to shift my position, Sir?!"

"I can't give you permission to do anything," Chaonis grumbled, folding his arms over his chest and frowning at her deeply. His eyebrows furrowed and he regarded her with a serious, confused, and slightly irritated look.
He was no one's superior: he was not in a position to tell anyone what to do. His handler would not be happy if she found out he was out here playing leader, when she told him to follow her every order. This was most decidedly not one of them. Of course, neither was going and trying to find out about his past, who he had been before corrupting, so he supposed there were plenty of things he was not telling her.
"Do whatever you want. Did someone give you an order to go in that tree in the first place?" He imagined that would be a fairly silly order to give. If he did waste his time being a boss, it would be better spent than that. "Antiope?" The name didn't feel familiar, now that he was thinking about it, so he was not sure he had known her before he was corrupted. It wouldn't matter, either way. "Come on, just get down and talk to me like a normal person. You were corrupted, right?"

It was odd hearing someone on the same side as her stating he was not her superior when he clearly was stronger than her. However, if that was his command, to not take his command, she respectfully accepted this as the fact. Which meant that the senshi soon enough resumed her regiment. Placing her arms across her chest, she began to continue the struggle of leaning forward to complete a crunch. " I was not given the order to use the tree... my orders were to resume training. I am preparing for an upcoming mission, Soldier!" With a bit of struggle, she was up, and then carefully eased her upper body back down. Continuing in this pattern, she seemed to consider his question. With a few more repetitions of the crunches, she eventually gave him a reply. " The Negaverse took me into their ranks, yes."

Chaonis watched her and frowned, not sure what good her work out routine would do for her. He supposed it was good to keep the body in its peek physical health, but considering the magic that aided them, working out while powered almost seemed counter intuitive.
"What can you remember from before you were corrupted?"
Chaonis was starting to obsess on his mission to find out more about who he was. Not only that, but to find out how it all worked. If all other corrupts lost themselves completely, or if there was more to it than that. If there was a way to remember who they had been, or anything at all.
He felt empty and hollow, and while he was fine following Painite's orders because he did not know any better, the more senshi and knights he ran into that told him he used to be this fighting machine for the White Moon, the more he questioned his role now. But if there was no way to know if they were lying, if there was nothing of that person left inside him, then he would just give it up, and resume his service as Painite's minion.
So far, his meetings with other corrupts had been disappointing. They were brainless and useless, for the most part, and left him with more questions than he got answers.
