Breath in. Breath out. It didn't help. She felt hollow and helpless, a shell of her former self. Useless, aimless, nothing. It had been this way for months, the woman powering up out of duty, to collect the minimal amount of energy required of her by her court, and each night there was tat internal struggle. The desire to seek him out, and the fear of finding him. Well, she'd found him, finally. It hadn't gone...awful, but it was not the reunion she had hoped for, prayed for. The DMC held onto her hope, but she was just so exhausted at this point. How long could any one person hang on like this? How long could they carry on with only that tiny light at the end of the tunnel that just never got any bigger. Like a cruel tease, rather than the beacon it should be. She just wasn't her life back, it wasn't so much to ask. Hadn't she lost enough over the years? When was her happily ever after? Breath in. Breath out. Navi had walked through the mirror on the back of the bedroom door, but she hadn't bothered to power down yet. Making it as far as the edge of the bed, she'd dropped onto the edge of it, before eventually sliding down to sit on the floor with her knees to her chest and her back to the edge of the mattress. She didn't have tears enough to cry anymore.

MirrorSpace was driving Leto crazy. The more time she spent in there, the more often she heard the voice that she was convinced was somehow Ares speaking to her. And most days, she spoke back. After a very heated argument with absolutely no one, Leto stopped and stared at her reflection in a mirror, her hands pressed to the glasses with her nails practically digging into the surface. Her eyes narrowed and she swallowed hard. Was this really what had become of the strong, sassy Captain of the Dark Mirror Court? She needed to get out. She needed to breathe and see real people and eat real food and maybe wear some real ******** clothes. On the brink of an all-out panic attack, Leto pushed through the surface of the mirror. Her mind not entirely focused on where she was going, she ended up somewhere that used to be familiar to her. Lydia's apartment. Leto couldn't even remember when exactly it was that Lydia moved out of their shared space. Years had passed since then, and though they remained close at that time so much had changed now. Leto, still powered, turned and punched the mirror she had come through. The glass shattered and pooled in tiny pieces at her feet and Leto swore and muttered loudly enough that anyone would easily be able to hear her. It didn't even occur to her that Lydia may have been home or that she just destroyed someone else's property. Suddenly she felt the aura of a fellow Dark Mirror Senshi and she fell silent. Shifting from Princess into her Eternal form so her fuku would look clean and new, Leto opted out of knocking and opened the door to Lydia's bedroom. She watched the other Senshi in silence for a few brief moments, her arms crossed over her chest. Leto wanted to both cry and cling to her so they could make everything okay... And cut her starseed out of her chest for being a traitor.

She felt the aura before she heard the sound of glass shattering. It had the dark mirror jerking her head up eyes wide, pulse suddenly thundering through her veins as she stared through the open door. No one ever came here, except Lesath. Navi had chosen something outside her court to cling to. Not technically a traitor, but not the loyal soldier she'd once been. She'd drifted from the rest of the dark mirror senshi, saddened when a void formed, but allowed it to grow over time and distance. Whenever possible she avoided the rest of her court, afraid they'd finally turn on her altogether, and now a royal was stepping into her home and destroying her exit The idea formed that she should run, escape out the window and into the night, but there really wasn't any sense in running. No matter where she went, they'd find her. So she didn't move. She stayed where she'd slid to the ground, arms around her knees, and waited. When Leto appeared in the doorway her heart sank. Of course, it would be her former room mate, her once upon a time best friend, that would be the one to pull the metaphorical trigger. Navi looked up at the woman she had once considered a sister, ready to be afraid, and let out a frustrated sound when there was nothing but that hollow exhaustion. Apparently she hadn't used up all her tears, because one rolled down her cheek as she buried hands in messy curls and lay her brow across her knees. Broken. She was a broken creature. And she just didn't know what to do anymore.

Leto's expression hardened as the two girls made eye contact. Maintaining friendships wasn't one of Leto's priorities and all of her relationships had fallen away over the last few years, including the one she once had with Navi. She opened her mouth, ready to spew vulgarities and anger at her former bff, until the tears came. Her mouth closed and her face softened, her arms uncrossing and dropping to her side. Could she really stand here, in Lydia's home, and scream at her as she sat there looking so utterly broken? Apparently not. Stepping into the room and letting the door close behind her, Leto closed the distance between the two of them. She took a breath, then slid down to the ground and sat with her back against the wall opposite of Navi. The two sat in silence for a moment, Leto unsure of where to go from here. Finally she outstretched her legs, her feet disappearing under the bed, and she gently nudged Navi with her prosthetic where her knee would have been, as she powered down into her civilian garb. "What happened?," asked Quinn gently. Evidently deep down there was still some shred of humanity and decency inside of the rogue Princess.

When Leto didn't start yelling. When the other girl in fact moved closer to take a seat opposite Navi, powering down and bumping her leg with the prosthetic she knew to be there, Navi lifted her head again to peer across that small space between them to meet red eyes. Where even to start? Her abandonment of their court? Her betrayle of falling for someone Quinn considered a personal enemy? She was in so far over her head it felt like she was drowning. First things first, she let her powers fold away, leaving her in the jeans and blouse she'd started the day in. A hand moved to rub at the moisture on her cheek, wiping it away. How much did Quinn know? Had the other members of the dark mirror court that she had kept some manner of contact with spread rumors? She just didn't know. Warily she brought her head up, drawing in a deep breath before releasing it. "How much do you know about what's been going on in my life?"
