 Arshavir was on a mission. He flew through the tunnels, towards the main shadow camp, in search of Antarmur'ss. He'd been tasked by Warrior to take him on, and he was determined to take the shadow cur down. He stayed as high as he could to avoid detection, and when he spotted Antar, there was no hesitation as he stooped into a dive, swinging his flanged mace for his head as soon as he was within range. HP: 35

 HP: 37 Antarmur'ss had remained in his tent no longer then necessary before he returned to the madness outside the temple. He walked among the battlers, his Shades darting about, whispering new information about how things were going. Apparently not too well. The cursed were over running his followers and the death allies. Frustrated and distracted, Antar did not notice Arsh until the cursed was nearly upon him. he threw hie left arm up to shield his head, thus resulting in him taking the brunt of the blow there. His entire arm went numb, which spared him from the pain. With a dark glower upon his face his tail swept up, the tentacles upon it lengthening as he attempted to whip Arsh across the face.

Arshavir was already using the rebound of his strike, barrel-rolling in mid-air to avoid a retaliation and he caught just part of the tentacles along his shoulder as he swung again, once more for Antar's face. His gaze was narrowed, and he did not seem to be wanting to waste words right now as he focused solely on his attacks. HP: 33

HP: 33Antarmur'ss turned about in an attempt to keep Arsh within his sights. His left arm hung limp, though he flexed his fingers to work the feeling back into them. Once more the demi came at him, and once more he was struck with force. Antarmur'ss head rang and he stumbled against a stone pillar. Grabbing the pillar, he caused the shadow of the stone to rear up like a serpent. A wide twelve foot long tentacle lashed out while the Darkness god rubbed his head with a hand and spoke nothing.

Arsh did not stop pursuing his foe, and so focused on Antar he forgot to watch the shadows. He was smacked hard into a stalactite, and struggled to keep his wings going, looking for all the world like a drunk butterfly for a moment as he shook the stars from his head. He managed to keep a hold of his mace somehow though, and steadying himself, swooped down toward Antar once more, swinging for his chest. HP: 29

HP: 32Antarmur'ss took a slow and steadying breath. His head was down so he did not witness the antics of Arsh attempting to recover from his blow. Arsh swept down towards him, and Antarmur'ss did not move until the demi came within feet of him. Antarmur'ss spun to face Arsh, his left hand, now recovered enough to be used, came up to cross over Arsh's swinging arm, thus keeping the mace from actually striking him. His other hand came up in a fist, and he simply attempted to punch the offending demigod in the face.

Arshavir was still a little unsteady as he swung his mace and it showed, as the shadow god blocked his shot. He managed to twist enough to just get a stinger on his ear from the punch, and then he simply turned to try and bite the wrist of that punching arm as hard as he could with his sharp serrated teeth. HP: 27

Antarmur'ss expression showed no emotion when his blow went awry and did not strike with the force he desired. He saw the next attack coming, if it could be called that. When Arsh attempted to bite him, Antarmur'ss twisted his wrist aside, then attempted to backhand the demigod with the same hand his teeth had scratched.

Once his element of surprise had melted away, Arsh found himself failing miserably, and he did not like it. He was backhanded hard and let a growl escape him before gripping his mace again and swinging again, this time for Antar's legs. He still didn't appear to be in a talking mood. HP: 24

HP: 29Antarmur'ss stepped to one side, though not nearly far enough to avoid the mace's strike. he felt it hit and his leg trembled, but it held. With a dark expression on his face, Antar attempted to take a half step towards Arsh. "You... You were the one who hurt my son." He hissed before summoning a blast of shadows from behind him in an attempt to spear through Arsh's wings.

Maybe it was the pressure of this mission. Maybe it was the fact he knew Warrior was watching. But for whatever reason, Arshavir was crumbling and he knew he had to stop and focus. He heard the shadow cur speak and was distracted enough to not notice the shadows behind him, but he sure felt them, as they damaged his wings, causing him to drop to the ground, thankfully on his feet. "Your son?" he panted. "You mean the weak excuse for a demi-god you left all alone to guard your realm? Yeah, I hurt him. And now, win or lose, I'm gonna hurt YOU." He switches his grip on his mace as he speaks, and tries to bring the flanged tip up underneath Antar's chin. HP: 21

HP: 27 Antarmur'ss watched as the demigod dropped. Now that he was grounded, Antar didn't have to worry about him flitting about. Arsh swung his mace up, and Antarmur'ss responded by bringing his elbow down towards Arsh's elbow to lessen the blow. His teeth clicked together and he felt his chin split. "Foolish boy. As if anything you could do to me would ever truly hurt." He growled.

Arsh felt the elbow glance off his arm but he kept a hold of his weapon. "Any damage I can do to you will count; any time you spend to mend keeps you away from your weak followers. Our forces are overrunning yours, shadow cur, our warriors beating down your people easily." While he was speaking, he tried to snake his tail around to try and grip one of Antar's legs, trying to dig his claws in, and then he threw a spiked wrist up at Antar's face. HP: 19

HP: 25"Fool." Antarmur'ss returned to Arsh's determination to strike out at him verbally. "When I bleed my followers pray harder for me. When I stumble they pitch themselves in furious devotion. When I fall they throw themselves upon the ground lauding me. They are my strength, and when I am hurt they take responsibility themselves for making me stronger. So any harm you visit upon me will only result my returning stronger then before." He felt the tail curl around his legs and a spike drove through the cloth into his flesh. His tail arched downwards to offer himself some support as he tried to kick the tail free. He countered Arsh's attempt to uppercut him with his spiked bracelet by using his forearm to strike down at Arsh's own forearm. Without a change in his expression, he leaned back on his own tail, and tried to jab his wounded legs knee into Arsh's lower stomach.

Arshavir sneered even as his attacks were mostly blocked. "You are delusional. Your followers don't seem to be very strong, so that must be a sign." He was about to attack again when the knee slammed into him, knocking the breath from him. Wheezing, he tried a one-handed swing with his Mace at the tail supporting Antar's weight. HP: 15
