It was a warm and breezy day in Elimisha, and, as far as Alüvyon was concerned - a fantastic day for adventure! The small, mud colored hybrid was on the ground, of course. She couldn't climb as well as a leopard, and her balance in the trees were not the best, so the small cub tended to stay there.
The hybrid cub was smart - she knew she wasn't like the other cubs or adults. They all had this sturdiness about them - thick paws and excellent balance. Alue was a twig in comparison, with tiny paws and a strange clumsiness.
But she wouldn't let it stop her!
The proud leotah took off like a shot, chasing a random grasshopper that flittered by her face. Despite her lack of strength in climbing, she was fast - nimble, while running.
Well, at least it made for a good game of tag!

She found she liked begin up in the trees. Sacnite loved the view provided plus it was great fun scampering up and down the branches. A swiftly moving brown blur below caught her attention as she lay resting in a low branch. The cub didn't look like the others she'd seen so far. Sacnite perked her ears up and dropped down from the branch and ran after the cub. This girl was fast!
"Hey! Hey wait up!" Her chubby paws churned quickly and she prayed she wouldn't trip herself. Not only was it awkward, but it hurt. If felt so... different, being on the ground.

Alue's ears twitched, hearing a voice behind her. She slowed her running until she stopped. She looked back to the voice that had called out only to find another cub! A white girl, with familiar markings - she had seen those markings somewhere before, but she couldn't quite place it...
"Hello!" She greeted in a near chirp. "My name's Alue, what's yours?" the small Leotah asked. She normally stuck to her siblings - they could tell they were quite different from the other members of the pride. For one, she was quite small and not quite so agile in the trees like the others.
