Hey everyone -- real life is eating me, for serious. And I'm not just talking about here and there, I mean it'll probably be a longer-term thing, since I've been doing a lot of business-related stuff in real life that's starting to bear fruit. How very Ootori. I know.
I'll still be around, but I expect that my RP time is going to be much curtailed from the past. That doesn't mean I'm quitting -- not at all, no! -- but I'll probably only be on to play a few times a week. (All the club administration will still get done, trust me.) Just wanted to give you all a heads-up, so that no one was surprised.
I'm very excited about what I'm doing -- basically running an artists' group that's producing art for card games and video games, and I hope that we'll be moving from a little indie thing to something with plenty of street cred in the future.
But art takes time -- as all the artists in our guild can certainly attest -- and I'm at the point of just needing to pay a lot more attention to what I'm doing now, between the art I'm producing, the management I'm doing, and the marketing I'll need to learn to do. I still love appreciate you all, just going to be putting the skills I've been learning here to real use.

From what I know of your art, I'm glad to see that it's going well for you, and I'm glad it's going in a positive direction. Good luck to you and your group, and we'll see you when we can~ hehe

Thanks! ^_^ I'll do my best. It's a tricky balance -- lots of cat-herding along with trying to improve my art and meet deadlines and all that stuff, but it's fun.
And then still needing time to sleep .... (... wait a minute, my life is starting to look like my character's, a bit ... eek )

Because the guilds have not been updated in ever. *sigh* I really wish there were thread subscriptions and tipping for the guilds. I would pay Gaia good money. Like $100. Immediately.
Yeah, maybe a little, but I think we all choose to play characters who reflect at least a little of who we are inside, even if we're not the same. So maybe not so scary, after all. (Hopefully I can borrow his good business sense without having to be quite that cold ... mrgreen )

Meh, hopefully Gaia will get its head out of its arse at some point. *shrugs* But that doesn't seem to be at the top of its to-do list right now..
Darn you and being all philosophical. lol
Yeah, you're right. I mean, my character is basically just me with extra exaggeration on personality traits and flaws.
And yes, minus the arctic temperature outward personality would be a good thing. xD
