Alternate: senshi of Chaos like what

Name: Mehtab Hassan

Nickname: MethLab

Age: 18

Birthday: November 12th

Sign: Scorpio

Gemstone: Topaz

Blood Type: A-

Fav. Food: Anything spicy enough that can make him reach for milk.

Hated Food: Refried beans

School: None b/c ******** THE SYSTEM YOLO

Hobbies:

Cooking: The kitchen might as well have been Mehtab's home. If he could find a way, he'd have his bedroom be his kitchen. or..bedroom in the kitchen? Bedchen? He's not sure, either way, he loves to cook, experimenting with various new dishes and things he sees on the internet. He really likes to experiment. No really. Look at his online purchases. SO MUCH FOOD HE CANT EVEN PRONOUNCE AND HE"S GONNA COOK IT ALL.

'Cooking' Maybe it's the cook in him, maybe its the pothead. Whichever, Mehtab has a thing about science and stuff. On a science blog? Cool he wants to try it. Learning and experimenting with anything that just seems interesting might not seem like a hobby to some, but for him, it's how he keeps learning and keeps himself active. Also Molecular Gastronomy is a thing.

No really-'Cooking' Methlab dabbles in the making of drugs. He doesn't actually have a methlab. No ******** that s**t. He is working to making the sweetest strain of cannabis this side of the mississippi. Don't ask him how. Trade secrets. Secret forest of pot just outside the city? HAHhahahaha whotoldyouhehasnothingtodowiththatstoptalkingtohimaboutithedidn'tdoshit. Mehtab actually really likes gardening- granted an illegal plant, but he views it as a medical garden project. Plus- he got this sweet strain to smell kind of like peaches and cream how ******** dope is that?

Virtues:

Independent: Having been emancipated from his family at 16, Mehtab lives in a very shabby run down apartment- but he lives in a stable environment. A drugged out sibling, a whore-thief mother, and a violent drunk for a step brother, Mehtab prides himself on only having his minor vices. He got his diploma early. Graduated early. Left home early. He likes his self reliance and control. He makes decent money working, enough to support himself. He has his own garden. He takes care of repairs on his own. He likes being able to do things by himself. A man who moves quickly, taking action with his own hands, he doesn't feel a need or want to do things with others. Company is fine, but it's not a requirement in his life.

Caring: While he might enjoy doing things on his own, Mehtab enjoys tending and caring for others and things. Repairing, fixing things? It's calming and relaxing for him. With people he feels he should do good in the world, make it a little less dark. The world is a depressive place, and he's seen how it can kill from the inside out. He's by nature a gentle, loving person, and to see or watch others suffer hurts him. He wants there to be no struggling. No suffering. Mehtabs loves openly and freely. Not just emotionally, but physically as well. Casual touch holds a great deal of significance with him. And if rebuffed he worries less how he feels but more if the other person feels safe and 'okay'. Mehtab wants to take care of everything, even when he knows he can't and might be helpless in which case he does the best he can.

Seeking: While he might be a rather laid back individual in many ways, or very passionate, Mehtab constantly seeks knowledge. He thrives off of information and events, off of innovation and growth. He adores discovery and creation- Kickstarters, Indiegogo- they are his circles. They are his dreams come to life. Keeping up with others on a personal level, and on a global one, Mehtab loves to learn, and will seek new things daily.

Anarchy: CHALLENGE THE STATUS QUO. FIGHT CORPERATE CONTROL. ACT NOW! VOTE! LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD! Mehtab is an activist and a vocal one at that. He has lived through enough racial stigma and enough social stigma that he's grown tired of it. He is willing to throw himself into things he feels strongly about, to both a positive and negative degree.

Flaws:

TOO MUCH CARING LIKE WOAH SON SLOW DOWN Overbearing isn't uncommon with Mehtab- he smothers unintentionally, and often never realizes it until it's spelled out for him. He took care of his sibling most of his young adult life, and as a result the younger a person is, the more he'll insert himself into the role of guardian for them. It's not MEANT to be such, but it's often the role he feels easiest to slide into and fill just due to experience. Did you want a second dad or elder brother? No? Well to bad cuz you just got one.

SO THEN: Challenging is a bad habit for Mehtab. He likes to face certain obstacles, like injustice in the way that it's fixable. He doesn't like to face it when it can't be changed by any means other than XYZ. He will fight when he must and is willing to fight for what he thinks and feels he has to. His passions drive him, and his feelings move him. Action before inaction, it is not recklessness but rather conviction and knowledge prompting him to not be idle that makes Mehtab someone who's not standstill and is someone who can and will confront others as casually as talking to them. It's not purely physical or aggressive. But it is direct. It is taking a stance.

Let's talk about it: Did you want a 10 hour debate? Did you want a 67 page print out of facts or logistics? Did you want a hug. Whoops Mehtab has all things and you get them. While he might be a fighter, he is just as much a lover, and will do his best to solve conflicts with words before actions. Words, talking, IS action to him. An important first step. Sadly, he talks a lot, and can often talk himself into a storm or into another person's annoyance scale. Words have meaning, and Mehtab was just born with too many of them.

Anarchy: HE IS THE ACTIVIST WHO WILL TIP OVER CARS AND BREAK WINDOWS AND STORM THE SENATE. VI VA LA REVOLUTION WOAH OKAY A LIL TOO MUCH CARING AND PASSION AND HOLY s**t BROSKI CHILL ITS JUST A PEACEFUL MARCH NO NEED FOR TWO SPEAKERS AND A GAS MASK LIKE WHAT.

Hey, Vamps!

Thanks for your patience! The civilian side looks great, and the powered side is ready for a stamp except for one thing I'd like to mention for the eternal attack. An attack being capable of causing third degree burns is a lot of damage and is a bit beyond what we currently approve for senshi attacks. Bruising and some scrapes are usually fine for senshi, but severe lacerations/broken bones/internal bleeding/burns/anything that would result in requiring a hospital visit are not usually stamped because of how powerful the attacks are. It can sometimes make it difficult to RP with a character with such powerful attacks because there is no middle ground—either your character dodges/misses every time or suffers extreme injury, and to prevent that situation we usually ask the power to either be toned down or ask that the senshi's magic 'give the sensation of that damage, and when the magic wears off they return to normal'—ensuring that no one is left with a hideous third degree face scar or that everyone dodges your character's magic, but still allows your character to have a magic that is useful in battle

Would you be comfortable with changing your eternal senshi magic so that it gives the effect/sensation of a third degree burn and then wears off after the magic expires? If you would be fine with that as a general attack (so that people are less inclined to try and have their character dodge it all the time as it will not cause permanent scarring), then it would also be fine if you wanted to include that the attack could leave 'up to third degree burns with player permission'—so that if people want to plot with it leaving scars or being severely burned, you can do that as well? Please let me know! If you are fine with that change, then I can drop a stamp, but if you would like to discuss other alternatives, we can do that as well! Please quote me or shoot me a PM if you have any questions, comments or make any changes!

I run by the traditional standard of don't do s**t w/o player permission. I figured that was just a given for any attack/anything that has the potential to scar or w/e.

That's good! For the eternal attack though, I was just worried about how it is written now; it makes it sound like anyone who is hit by the attack will be guaranteed to have at least third degree burn and because of that power, I am concerned that most people would choose to have their character dodge the attack rather than be hit by something so damaging. I don't want you to be in a position where you find people are almost always dodging this attack/you don't get to use the attack effectively because it is written to cause so much damage so I wanted to throw it out there that you might have more people willing to be hit by the attack if it has the ability to 'feel' like a third degree burn for thirty seconds after contact and then it fades rather than just say that if anyone chooses to be hit then they will receive third degree burns. Since third degree burns are a serious medical issue and have a high probability of scarring, I think more people might be inclined to be affected by his eternal attack if it wasn't guaranteed to be so damaging. Though if, in plotting, you and another player decided you wanted the attack to actually cause third degree burn instead of just a temporary magical burn, that would be fine—that way your attack can still do what you want, but players might not immediately opt to dodge the attack.

I hope that makes sense!

If you are not interested in allowing players a less severe option for attack, then it is fine; as long as players know they may dodge the attack whenever they like to avoid third degree (or worse) burns then I can still drop a stamp.

I really doubt it will be an issue, so I'll be keeping it as is!

All righty! Then, as long as players give consent/are told they can opt out of being affected by the magic if it is too strong for them, you are stamped! Good luck and have fun!
