What happens when you mash up The Little Mermaid and Aladdin? Arabian Nights Under The Sea.
Everyone knows the story of Aladdin. A poor boy runs the streets to make it. He has his little monkey best friend and meets a girl one day. Little does he know she's the princess...
The princess who's spent her years locked away in the palace grounds in the large city of Bania, where her father reigned over the people surrounding their home. The city isn't safe. It's full of thieves who would take advantage of us, or peasants, it's no good. The princess grew restless, dressed down, and escaped to run the streets. Her first night out... she gets lost and happens upon the Aladdin of our story.
They connect and she continues to sneak out to meet him. But she can't hide forever and when her fathers right hand man has our Aladdin sentenced to imprisonment for being caught with the princess... choices may have to be made.
And everyone knows all about The Little Mermaid. Ariel spends her days wondering about the lives of the humans on the land beside their little underwater kingdom. Our Ariel is swimming along and runs into who used to be an old family friend. Now she knew better than to associate with her... But she was offering her the chance of a lifetime. If she did her a favor... she would give her legs and real feet! She would be human, walking on land... She couldn't resist. She sold her soul, Ursula created a necklace that she had to wear in order to keep her fin from growing again. All she had to do was get close to the kingdom on land and do a little digging... and possibly destroying.
That is, until she meets Prince Eric... and actually starts to like him.
And pretty boy Prince Eric isn't all he's cracked up to be. The future king held an air of arrogance, and a closet full of skeletons. But why does he feel like himself with her? Why does he feel at all with her? He's about to snag a princess, become king... everything is falling into place. Until now.
Both the kingdom and Bania were located near to each other, only a few miles of sea separated them. The sea our Ariel calls home.
So, what happens when the king of Bania and the King of the kingdom have an arranged marriage set up for our Jasmine and our Prince Eric? They planned to connect the two kingdoms, share in the wealth of the sea, and grow. The marriage was the key to connecting them.
And what happens when Ursula is after the kingdom... sending our Ariel in as a spy... who may be falling for her target?
So, where do we begin our tale?
Aladdin just ran into undercover Princess Jasmine on the streets. She is lost, wandering around, and starving. She has been away from the palace and lost for over an hour. "Jasmine" left the palace today because she was meant to meet her suitor... the man she was being arranged to marry. She gets herself into a sticky situation, only to be saved by our street rat himself, who takes her on a day she'll never forget, leaving her wanting more.
Our Ariel just signed her name on the dirty deed, retrieving the necklace from Ursula. She's coming up for air, slipping on the necklace... and walking out of the water and onto the beach. After collecting necessary items such as street clothing and a cell phone, all provided by Ursula... things she'd need to accurately spy. Things that would make her a normal human girl.
She spies on Eric this last Sunday, following him to the Bania palace where he was arranged to meet his future wife... who was missing.
Perfect.
Our Ariel arranges an 'accidental' meet on the streets of Bania once he leaves...

I was born in {[1993]}, making me {twenty-one}. ℓ❤ℓ ι'νє ¢σмє тσσ ƒαя тσ тυяη αяσυη∂: Kanae lived her life beneath the surface of the sea, caught between a kingdom and city full of life. She laid out on rocks, hung out beneath decks all throughout her childhood. She admired the little girls running around in the sand, wondered how it felt to have toes squish in the wetness. But daddy Tritan would never grant her the feet she longed to have. She was an adult according to the human world, dammit. She wanted to be independent. Daddy was awfully protective of his only daughter after the death of her mother. Not that he ever wanted a daughter…
Her mother died during the end of Spring about six years ago, when she was about fifteen years old. There was a tragic storm, her mother got mixed up in it... she wasn't really sure of the story, she never got straight answers. After she heard the news, she took off for the rest of the evening. She perched herself far away from her underwater kingdom, and had a good long cry alone. Until she saw a boy, seemingly about her age, in trouble. He was drowning, it seemed. She knew humans couldn't breathe in water... and reacted. She knew she was supposed to remain a secret.. If they knew about them it would be over... But she couldn't just watch him die.
So, she saved him... rushing him to shore. And never spoke of it again.
When she was younger she remembered her dad talking about someone to take over for him, how a daughter just wouldn’t do. But her mother couldn’t have anymore children and they were stuck with her taking over for her dad one day. Her father and her’s relationship was well passed broken, and she didn’t really care to mend it. No, she wanted an escape.
That’s why she decided to get her own freedom. After spending the last three years arguing with her father about not wanting to take over the seaside kingdom… she wanted to escape. And the only route of escape… would be to get on land. Only one person was willing to offer her that dream come true- Ursula. Her dads evil twin, just as powerful without the title. She wanted the kingdom above the water, she wanted it for herself. The only way to achieve that was to get inside the current ruling family and take them down. Nae was her best bet. She granted her feet, legs, and everything she would need to become a true human girl. Her task was to take down the prince, no matter what. Or she would pay and lose her chance at a human life. She sold her soul.
Every night she would return to the waters by midnight, take off the necklace, and return home or update Ursula. Then she would repeat the process the next day until Ursula made her legs permanent… once she took down an empire.
Her first trip to land was spent buying the necessary things for humans… clothes and such. And for about the next week she snuck around undercover to figure out some stuff about the royal family. She learned who was who, their names, their positions... and a lot about human life. People were awfully strange.
It was a Sunday morning when she emerged from the water once more. This time Ursula had a goal for her... infiltrate the Prince.

Kanae is free spirited, wild, and longs to be free. Her mother always taught her to be strong and independent and she planned on living her entire life that way. She’s rebellious, reckless, and loving. She’s loyal, and true to herself. Brutally honest, but very very innocent, especially in the human world. Nae is still naive, but not stupid. After her mothers tragic childbirth death, her father grew protective of his only child and heir to the throne. She was pampered, but not allowed to venture outside of the palace walls. The king knew why, though he never let the princess know of the dangers their kingdom held. As time grew on, crime manifested their kingdom. That was part of the reason her father wanted this joining of the kingdoms thing to happen, he needed help controlling his streets and bringing Bania back to the lavish kingdom it once was.
In order to join the two kingdoms with little revolt, a marriage needed to happen. Thus brought forth the two kings in deciding to wed their prince and princess. This plan was in the works from the moment the children turned thirteen, but nobody knew but the two kings. They would wed after Calli turned 22.
Calli was easily daddy's little girl. He gave her everything she could ever want- including her pet tiger Thor who she got as a baby-, and those who disobeyed her, even at the age of five, were severely punished. Including his right hand man, Jafah. He was to protect her, starting when he was young as well. Jafah grew to love her, but could never speak a word of it. It was forbidden for the help to even socialize with the royal family. Even if he was the kings right hand man, there were boundaries. But he would fight tooth and nail to protect her.
Calli has never been allowed to make her own big decisions. She was homeschooled by a trained professor for each subject, she would only have selected friends- which were few, and she would one day marry the man of her fathers choice in order to take over the kingdom. Everything seemed fine, no big deal. Only the closer it grew, curious Calli realized she knew nothing about the kingdom she would be running. So, when the strange new friend Kanae came into the picture, offering to help her discover the world she didn't even know, she couldn't resist. Nae had the qualities she desired to achieve. She was adventurous, quick lipped, and fun. Calli found her strange because she was naive, though so was Calli really. They became quick friends and Calli asked for Nae to have her own room after learning of her situation. She stayed most nights, but other nights she would disappear then turn up again the next day. Calli didn't ask too many questions, because they were new friends and she felt this friendship was real.
Last thing they did together was escape into the city, where Calli ran into some trouble...

Calli is the definition of a princess. She's been pampered her entire life, never known pain or hurt. She's spoiled, but she cares about people. She's got the mother gene despite growing up without one. Cal is fancy, expensive, and hard to please. She has high standards, but is extremely naive. She's sheltered with a desire for the edge. She's got an adventurous bone in her body. The wanderlust bug has recently bitten her... making her grow even more curious. Which is saying something, because as comfortable as she's always been, even as a child she seemed to grow restless easy, feeling trapped. Though, she's never been one to directly disobey her father. Lately, it's becoming more of a norm. She's pretty full of herself, just shy of cocky and leaning more towards confident. It depends on the situation. She's smart, as she's been trained by the best. I was born in {1991}, making me {23}. ℓ❤ℓ ι'νє ¢σмє тσσ ƒαя тσ тυяη αяσυη∂: As a prince, heir to the throne of Andor, I grew up incredibly privileged. Neither of my parents were very emotional people, married through an alliance and with no love of each other. I had tutors and servants. Even aside from the fact that I was royalty, I had a way of getting what I wanted, especially with my mother the Queen. I have a have a 21 year old brother and 13 year old sister now.
I fight with my siblings all the time, but I also help them out give them the family attention I never got when I was younger.
I'm an enthusiastic person that does really well at things that interest me and I can multitask really well when I want to.
I'm highly educated through my tutors, training to eventually inherit the kingdom, but I don't really act like I want to lead any time soon. I lead everyone else around, but mostly just paid attention and applied myself to what interested me. In addition to a typical education, I'm an expert in fencing, horse back riding, and even jousting believe it or not. My family ensured that we stayed true to our traditions, even as these skills became less important in today's technologically advancing world. The important thing was, they were fun activities. Keeping along the same lines, my father designated an oldschool ship from our Navy as mine on my 15th birthday, making it's former Captain, a retired veteran Navy officer, teach me to sail.
Growing up in a seaside castle, I also love swimming, despite a bad fall I took about 6 years ago, almost drowning, because I tripped over some rocks as I ran to dive off the cliff. All I remember is waking up on the beach, far enough back that the waves didn't reach me, making me doubt the likelihood that I merely got lucky enough to wash up there. When I came to, I didn't even remember the fall at first, everything was so fuzzy and my head hurt. But that night I dreamed of a seeing a girl in the water before blacking out. It didn't make any sense.
And I still don't know who saved me.
I didn't get much love or affection as a kid, though everything was provided for me. Right now I'm focused on having a good time, having a lot of women, hanging out with a lot of people and going to a lot of parties.
Of course, I'm supposed to be discreet about dating any women, especially if they don't fit the image my parents want for our kingdom.
And then all of a sudden I hear of a potential arranged marriage between me and the Princess of Bania across the sea, to unite our Kingdoms. Aside from the fact that that would be a huge political move, I'm not happy. Not right now. Or at least not any time soon.
At least since it's such a big deal, it won't happen right away. And unlike decades ago and long before, I can meet her way ahead of time if I want to.
So here I am, in Bania, and the princess is nowhere to be seen. The servants and the King keep insisting everything is fine, and giving me excuses, but where is she?
It's a good thing they are trying hard to keep me happy.

Bottom line, I'm used to people doing what I tell them to and absolutely hate it when I have to do something I don't want to do.
I don't mind helping out my friends or people I can trust as long as I can have fun and have a good time. It's not hard for me to help without much effort on mt part as prince and heir to the throne. I won't help just anyone though, unless I like you. Piss me off and you can ******** yourself. I'm fun and apparently have a magnetic personality, for some people. Others hate me, but can't say much about it.

I was born in {1994}, making me {20}. ℓ❤ℓ ι'νє ¢σмє тσσ ƒαя тσ тυяη αяσυη∂: I am a Gypsy of the Badi clan, or at least, I used to be of the Badi clan. My dad was one of our own that traveled between clans and was already gone by the time my mother knew she was pregnant with me. She was killed in a raid that got nasty down in some village on the outskirts of Bania when I was 10. My mother's sister technically took me in, but mostly ignored me. I ran wild with the other little boys before my mother died and even worse after. I learned how to be quite the little thief: pickpocket, hustler, beggar, you name it. Small time stuff, no burglary or armed robbery or mugging or anything like that, but the tourists especially, always have something to... lose. My clan used to move town to town, like any other Gypsy clan, but somewhat settled in Bania several decades ago, but a lot of our people are still travelers, coming and going, for once always having something to come back to. We are mainly spread out over the southern half of Bania even though there's less of us than there used to be.
That didn't stop our clan leader Durril from banishing me from the clan when we had a uh.... disagreement, lets say... but as far as I'm concerned, I'm still Nic Badi.
A lot of Gypsies keep animals other than dogs and cats, and monkeys are a favorite of the Badi. I got Abu when one of my cousins' spider monkey had a baby (with another monkey in the clan) about 6 years ago. He is a smart little b*****d with very sticky fingers, frequently stashing or outright handing me things he picked up off of some unfortunate soul. Sometimes it's trash... other times... well, he surprises even me sometimes, and I'm the one that trained him!
Anyway, I've been completely on my own without the Badi for back up for a little over a month now. In a way, it's not that different because I was often on my own for days or more sometimes when I traveled to the outlying villages or towns outside of Bania.
And yet, it's very different, not having anyone to go back to. But at least I have Abu! »--» »--» Personality:
Even though I've always been friends with my cousins and the other Badi kids, I've always been more of an introvert at the same time. I played just as well by myself when I was little as I did with my friends. And maybe I do talk to my monkey a little bit too much, even before I was on my own.
I have many skills, some random, some useful, but I don't really know what I want to do with my life. Especially now. Now I'm free, without anyone judging me, to do whatever I want... and I don't know what that is.
My favorite thing about my people is their spirit, their passion, and self expression. When I was with them, I never had any trouble with that. But now... I don't know who to trust.

Kanae sat at her vanity within the walls of her underwater castle bedroom, brushing out her brunette locks. Today was the day. She had spent a week out on land, within both kingdoms. Her goal was to gather important information on everyone, focusing on Aruna and Richard. Now she felt she knew a pretty decent amount about both of them and the royal families they stemmed from. Richard was rough around the edges, but there was something about him...
Anyways. He was arrogant, proud, and a party machine. He had women sneaking out of his bedroom all the time... Poor girls tried to sneak around the staff, but that was damn near impossible. Kanae knew that first hand! His charm and undeniable attraciveness coupled with his status left him wanted by every girl within both kingdoms.
Too bad the public knew nothing of their arrangement... A loveless royal marriage meant to bring the two seaside kingdoms together.
Naes mission?
To keep that linkage from happening, no matter what. Or she would lose her newfound love of land.. Feet.. Oxygen.. Being human. She sold her soul for a pearl necklace that would one day be a permanent fixture around her neck because within it held the magic that made her human.
Kanae slowly swam through the castle, necklace tucked away in her purple bikini top. She mumbled an excuse to the woman who was supposed to keep track of her and headed for the surface and west beach... Where her hut was. The hut she found to keep her dry land things. Once she was close enough to be able to touch the ground momentarily, she hooked the necklace around her neck. It was slow at first... Just a tingle from the end of her tail to her hips... Then she felt her toes start to stretch out. Eventually it moved up the rest of her legs, scales seemed to fall off and skin was left. Then the fin split into legs. But the really painful part was when her lungs expanded, taking in oxygen. The first breath of air hurt. She choked as she walked towards the beach. Kanae relished in the squish of wet sand beneath her toes as the sun began to rise above her.
She ducked into her private hut, and started to pick out her outfit while her hair dried... This was a fun for surprise. Her thick locks spent most days soaking wet and straight. Imagine her surprise when her hair finally dried for the first time and poofed out into an afro! She learned how to style it from a lady in a salon, and quite liked it. She slid into black lace shorts and a coral tank top before heading out for the day.
Kanae spent the early morning eating and enjoying herself. But she knew that the royal brigade was due in Bania at 5pm for the prince and princesses first date. Gag...
Kanae headex over to Bania around three, her and Aruna had lunch plans. Where Kanae planned to convince an already unsure princess to ditch the date all together. Besides everyone knew what slutty pig the guy was anyways... Right? Kanae stepped up to the entrance of the castle where she confirmed her meeting with the princess, who would be down shortly for their lunch date. The two girls had grown close because Kanae faked her identity, saying she was a friend of the families and mumbling her way through people to get to the princess. It wasn't easy. But she managed to do it, and Aruna loved her instantly. Their lunch plans consisted of an in-palace catered lunch in the smaller dining hall, since Aruna was forbidden to leave the palace.
That lunch changed everything. Aruna was pretty easily swayed by Kanae's talk of the outside world, as always. But then she laid out some pretty nasty "rumors" about Richard and it was icing on the cake. Nae helped Aruna disguise herself well enough to sneak out, she needed to really feel the city she would one day rule, right?
After her disguise was perfected the girls dodged security, slipped off palace grounds, and Kanae led her arm in arm giggling like children. Her heart dropped when she got her far enough away from the palace... She really is a sweet girl, they could be real friends... Nae didn't really have real friends. Being the princess made her popular sure, but nobody she trusted or even truly liked.
They couldn't if she lived underwater... with a fin.
Nae led Aruna into a crowd of people... then ditched her. She quickly ran back towards the palace just around 5pm, perfect timing. Nae could see the princes cavalry coming through the palace gates. The girl slipped through her secret spot in the back gate and made her way to the front of the palace to watch the scene unfold around her. Already, she could hear the royal security losing their minds over the missing princess.

On a collision course, I'm out of control!

Prince Richard had chosen to take his own ship across the sea, which was a rather short journey, considering. Along with Richard, were 6 body guards, 8 friends of various noble Andoran houses, and about 4 of his own retainers (family servants) plus 2 for each of the friends that accompanied him.
His parents plan was for him to stay here up to a month to learn more about Bania and their nobility and inner workings, while getting to know the princess.
Great. Diplomacy.... meetings... boring s**t.
At least the princess was supposed to be pretty hot. The pictures he had seen certainly were.
Richard and his posse were driven in separate limousines up to Bania castle and were soon traipsing through the gardens at the entrance.
As they did so, Richard, who was observing his new surroundings, while laughing and joking with friends, took note of the flurry of activity going on.
Of course, his arrival would be a big deal, but something seemed a little... off.
Soon, he was ushered in, with his own servants grabbing his bags, and everyone a whirlwind of activity followed.
Eventually Richard found himself in his rooms, a double chamber master suite. It had a sitting room, bedroom with a king sized bed, and a bathroom complete with a large tub with jets.
His bags had been brought in, and there was talk of a dinner that night to celebrate his arrival.
And he had yet to see the King or the Princess.
The fact that he was supposed to not take that as a slight aside, he was already feeling restless.
Before thoroughly checking out his rooms (which would be guarded at the outer door by two of his body guards), Richard took his blazer off and loosened the buttons on us shirt. Eventually he wandered out onto his deck, over looking the ocean and the beach beneath it.
There was also a gate and path down to the private beach, shared only by some of the other nearby rooms, but there was no one in sight.
His own castle was visible from here in the distance, but he stared off into the waves for a moment before dashing back into the room.
He had seen some complimentary wine on the dresser somewhere, probably older than he was, if he was lucky.
Richard turned on the TV, set it to the Rock music channel, and traipsed back onto the deck with the wine bottle and a glass in hand.
'Cause I took that s**t out.

Kanae had to stop herself from laughing as the room fell silent. Her heart skipped as she laid eyes on the handsome Richard who was ushered into his own hall. Okay, so looked like she was going to be staying here somehow. She would have to tell Ursula her new plan, and that would be awesome because it meant more foot time.
Kanae listened to the banter about a search party and someone getting fired before going off to find the princes hall. This task proved simple as it was heavily guarded, the rooms in the hall belonging to his own batch of security. She pondered this for a moment, how to plan her run in with him... how to get around security. Clearly she would just say that she was a friend of Aruna's. Which was true, she had met the King who offered her a room whenever she pleased... so, here was her chance! She was a concerned friend who was supposed to have lunch with her friend who never showed up.
It was terrifying. And they weren't telling Richard... That was gold. She walked up to the two guards in front of what she assumed was his room.
"Hello. I'm Nae." She held her hand out, smiling brightly. The guard raised his eyebrow at her, her hand fell to her side. "Ohhkay then. I'm actually a close friend of the princesses, and her father would like me to fill the prince in about the current situation, wouldn't want him to worry."
It was scary how good someone could get at lying once they did it enough...
The guards pondered this for a moment, then one disappeared inside. She could barely hear him speaking to who she assumed was the prince... Then he came back out. "He's gonna tell us when to kick you out so make it quick." He grumbled, stepping aside to let the brunette inside. "Thank you sir, of course."
Kanae stepped inside, the door slammed behind her- causing her to jump a bit. Her light blue eyes caught his crystal-like blue eyes, her heart felt tight again, but she did her best to ignore that. He was so much more beautiful up close... Then her eyes traveled down his body, his shirtless body. Wow.
"Hey, uhm. Sorry, I'm Kanae." She got her s**t together quick, remembering why she was here. "I'm a friend of Aruna's- err, the princess." Or at least she was trying to. What was her deal? She was never shaken up by a pretty face and a hot body.
Jeez.
Absentmindedly she ran her fingers through her curls then sighed. "Truth is no one knows where she is right now. But they don't want you to know that." She shrugged, laying it out. There we go, back to the normal Nae.
"I dunno why she would ditch meeting you though." She flashed a smile his way, then noted the bottle of wine in his hand. "Making yourself comfy I see?" She stepped a little closer to him, smirking.

Richard had just stepped out onto the deck again when there was a knock, and then as he turned around his body guard, Michael, stepped in.
He informed him that there was a friend of the Princess outside that wanted to speak with him.
Her friend huh?
"Send her in I guess. So far everyone has been trying to usher me into my room and out of the way, but now I get the friend?" he said, speaking lower at the end there.
The dinner preparations my a**, he thought.
Richard turned the music down a little bit, letting the a slower number of a classic rock song continue to play in the background, just as the friend entered.
Standing there in his unbuttoned shirt, wine bottle in one hand, wine glass in the other, Richard looked on as this friend of a curvy brunette walked in, promptly introduced herself by one name only, and went on to tell him that the the weirdness going on was due to the princess going missing.
That was quite the introduction.
She took note of the wine.
Richard lifted the bottle, and the first thing he said in reply to all of that was, "Yes, somebody had to, care to join me?"
He then disappeared off briefly into the mini kitchen for another glass, and then heading out onto the deck, sweeping right passed the girl.
Meanwhile his mind was working furiously. The most prominent thought was - maybe he wouldn't have to deal with any of this s**t after all. Of course they wouldn't want him to know.
Those bastards! They were just going to string him along... for a month if they had to he would bet, but probably try to get him to leave sooner. That is, if they didn't find her.
And if they did, well...
This girl ran away. Right before he got there. Weird. And ******** rude.
But... if he did choose to stay here for awhile. Well. They were going to want to keep him happy, rather than irritated enough to.... threaten their current alliance, much less keep from forging a stronger one. They were lucky he didn't really care about this whole arrangement personally or he wouldn't be so calm right now.
And then there was this girl.... practically storming in here, telling him what she obviously shouldn't.
This.... attractive, interesting woman.
Richard poured each of them a glass of wine out on the table on the deck overlooking the ocean.
'Cause I took that s**t out.

Kanae laughed, perfect. He hadn't even said a thing about Aruna not being around, just that he offered her to join him for a glass of wine.
Well, why not. She was sure it would take hours for Aruna to find her way home and she looked so unlike herself that nobody would recognize her or believe her to be anything other than crazy if she said she was the princess.
It helped that nobody had seen her in person, just photos and such.
"I would, thank you." He grabbed another glass then moved past her, out onto the deck.
She followed him, biting her bottom lip softly. He poured her a glass, handed it off, and stood looking out at the water. Okay. She hadn't really thought this through. They had a sort of alcohol beverage under the sea but she had no idea what this crap was. She sipped, tried to hold back a sour face, and maintain somewhat of a smile. Nae sat down across from him, set her glass down, and sighed softly. "Do you love it?" She asked, somewhat out of the blue to break the silence. "The water, I mean."
Nae knew he had his own boat and enjoyed being out on it quite often. But of course he didn't know that she knew that.
Plus talking to him gave her an excuse to look at him rather than the water.
Kanae was tip toeing, she was still new to this whole thing. Though, she spent her childhood running around, sneaking by, and being devious. So, maybe it wasn't all that new, but this was big time stuff. This wasn't little kid s**t.
This was breaking apart two kingdoms to prepare for... well, she didn't want to think about the can of crap she was opening for Ursula for her own personal gain.
Nae sipped a bit more at her wine, already feeling a little light headed. This was going to be something she had to pace herself on. She knew enough about humans and alcohol from her days watching the beach. People, fire, and a lot of alcohol made those nights interesting.

Sitting down after the girl, what was her name again? Connie something???
Richard drank some of his wine, and then looked back away from the waves as she spoke.
This was woman was.... what was it about her? There was something... different. Then there was the hotness factor, he couldn't help but notice.
"Yes. as the Prince of Andor-" he raised his glass toward the distant seaside castle, "I was born on the water. Around here there has always been a way to find a rush. And I trained with our navy."
He drank more wine, still looking at the woman.
"You look familiar." He said bluntly, trying to figure her out, but couldn't quite place anything.
"Are you from here? Bania? You are.... Connie of -?" he left off for her to fill the blank, not sure how her name really went. Something like that.
She had come in here so suddenly with so much information and only the barest of introductions.
"I am Prince Richard of Andor, of the house of Blackwood, as you may already have heard, though we have not been introduced."
Princess Aruna's friend.... the only one here willing to tell him anything, less than an hour after arrival, when securely tucked away from the searching guards.
And she was beautiful....
Father hadn't allowed him to bring any of his noble female... friends... of course, as he was supposed to be meeting his proposed betrothed.
But Richard was always good at making new friends anywhere, especially women-friends. And if the princess was gone... well... like he had been thinking earlier, he needed some way to entertain himself.
He also should know what was going on though.
And be careful, blah blah blah. His mother had been going on and on about watching my back while out here just in case. You never knew when someone was going to try something when you were important.
But more importantly to him right now... was how he was going to be spending the rest of his night.
"And why are you here?" he added, sounding completely nonchalant the entire time, while looking her over still.
Richard could certainly give her a reason to stay... but why had she come?
Just to tell him the truth about the princess?

Munching on something that looked like these chocolate muffins she had for breakfast in the castle, but with less chocolate, Princess Aruna looked around her for any familiar signs of the palace. Well, she had to admit she was overflowing with happiness, when she finally escaped that annoying maid who was keeping an eye on her and managed to get out of the castle. She had grew up obeying to annoying rules that reached that far as to determine the way she was holding her pencil and she had never got a chance to decide something on her own. The only decisions she ever made were whether or not she would have chocolate in her breakfast, what color her dress would be and if she wanted her pet with her or now..yeah, great decisions. Now it was the time to get to know her people too. She needed to thank Kanae later for giving her such a great idea! It would surely make her be a magnificent queen later! Using her plastic, pathetic according to her, fork, she got the last of her muffin and threw the rest of it into a trashcan. At least she knew the little people she could see from her balcony weren't used to have maids gather the leftovers from their food!
She looked around her once more. She was excited at first yes, but now that she had no idea on how to get up she was feeling kinda worried and even desperate. What if she wouldn't be able to find her way to her papa? She looked at her phone that had no battery left. Once she was at the castle she had to throw it away and get the latest model..maybe decorating with tiny diamonds too. She had made sure to look like one from the little people. She was wearing ripped jeans and a tank top that she usually wore in the inside of her usual clothes, plus a pair of sandals. Only that she had made some mistakes...some tiny mistakes that would soon put her in trouble. The jeans she had chose were way too expensive for anyone to believe she wasn't rich, her earings were tiny diamonds and wouldn't fool anyone to be fake, her sandals were made of the finest leather and surely her white golden necklace of two half moons stuck together and bracelets didn't seem like simple silver at all, plus her figure and movements, even her walking didn't seem ordinary as she was keeping her head too high and her body was standing proudly
Due to this mistakes she would soon wish she could run for her life. As soon as she turned left to an alley she found out that a wall was keeping her from going further. She turned to walk back and take another turn when she saw two guys blocking her way and walking towards her making her frown again "i'm Princess Aruna and i order you, to get out of my way" she said , but seeing that this only made them grin more, as if they had won the lottery she froze in fear not knowing what she would do. One of them spoke "if you are the princess, i bet your daddy will pay lots to have you back" The domineering ❝ XIt's time to see what I can do,
to test the limits and break through.

"Trained your navy? How neat." Kanae commented, avoiding her sigh. She hated the navy, everyone did under the sea. They caused so much ruckus, even though she knew why they were around, it was still not her favorite thing.
"Familiar?" She cocked her head to the side, her heart racing. s**t. Did he notice her sometime this week? She can tried to be so careful...
Connie? What?
Nae laughed. "It's kah-nay. Not Connie." She flashed an assuring smile, sipped her wine and thought for a moment. "Kanae of the underwater kingdom..."
"Kanae of Amarillo. It's a little place about forty miles from here..." Here was her fake life. "Nothin' special, you probably haven't even heard of it." It was real, just a small little city outside of the ruling because it was a farming community. "I just recently moved to Bania actually, met the princess through some work I've picked up around the castle, you know." She never tried to give away too many details. Ursula said to keep it short and sweet, play up her looks and innocence, and do her job.
Nae laughed again. "Well, I am aware you're the prince." She shrugged. "I'm not very good at introductions I suppose. My apologies. Also, call me Nae. It's just easier."
They sipped at the wine in silence for a moment before he asked why she was here. She froze, her grasp around the glass tightened. "I am here to inform you of things the rest of the royal brigade is keeping from you... I don't have to help, if you'd like I can leave you to your business here." Nae took a drink of her wine before gesturing as if she could leave, but hoped he would want her to stay.
She just wasn't trying to be a clingy little follower, as she saw was a common trait in his one night stands... No. That wasn't here way. She would infiltrate him some other way.

Since being banished from the Badi clan, it had taken Nic a couple weeks of sleeping on the streets and in shelters to find somewhere to stay. Unfortunately the biggest issue in finding anywhere to stay was the fact that he came a package deal with a monkey.
That was rarely ever a problem when he was staying with one of The Badi, but the rest of the people around here.. Well, he never advertised being a gypsy, that was for sure. And not too many other people were big on housing a monkey, even a smart bad a** spider monkey like Abu.
No, the people like the entertainment of a trained monkey and that was it.
So, consequently, Nic wasn't really big on where he did end up and didn't spend much time there. It was really just a place to sleep.
Because of that, Nic happened to be wandering through downtown Bania, on his way to a specific pawn shop to hawk a couple things he'd.... picked up... recently, when he saw two thugs heading into an alley on the tale of some girl.
He'd barely had a glimpse of a girl but it couldn't be good.
One look around and Nic muttered, "Ah, ******** was perched on his shoulder, he half tossed him up onto the onto the roof above them, saying, "Abu follow!" the monkey had a useful move he had taught him to help him out in tricky situations.
Spider monkeys were very agile and could climb and swing all over the place.
Nic then ran to catch up with Abu following above him and crept up to the Alley, peering in behind the big guys.
It looked like the were about to grab a girl, or something with the girl, and nothing good.
Looking around one more time to see if there was any other kind of help, Nic sighed, and stepped several paces back. Then he ran full throttle from a side angle to barrel into the more dangerous looking guy, and rolled to take the fall, coming up into a bit of a crouch in front of the strange girl.
"RUN!" he yelled, and grabbed her hand, pulling her back right for the other guy that was recovering from the shock of his entry, right as the other guy was trying to get up on his hands and knees.
Nic ran right over him, stopping on his hand so he fell back down again, and yelled, "ABU! ATTACK!"
It didn't really mean attack, per se... the monkey jumped out, right at the big guys face, as Nic pulled the girl right passed him and continued to run.
Abu would really just scare, and maybe scratch a little bit, the guy, and then would jump back off, scampering across the buildings to follow Nic.
It's not like they were going to want to get involved with the police over an attack...
"Come on, they won't follow too far" he said between breaths as they ran through the streets, until Nic turned into a clothing store, where they should be safe in public and lose them if they followed.
Once he stopped running, Nic felt his side for a second, feeling the pain from when he had thrown himself at the guy and landed a little off, but no big deal.
"Are you okay? Those guys were dangerous." he said, just now getting the chance to start sizing this girl up. The only thing that's been on my mind
