 Zarieth drifted across the campgrounds. His ghost lights flickered about him like crazed little fire flies. His head swung from side to side, chains swaying as he took in the chaos of the scrambling healers and guardians. The demigod drifted to a halt, then with a gesture of his hand he sent his ghostlights zipping away. "Go... to the corners of the camp. We must be ready to help whoever may need it most." He called off softly to his beloved little spirits. Sighing, he placed a hand to his chest and looked inwards. "Poor souls...so many are scared. So many are excited..."

 Axel decided he was gonna start off doing what he did in the last war, attempting to infiltrate and cause havoc in the enemy camp. He rather hoped he'd be able to find Bookworm at some point, but that would come later. It was almost easy considering there was so much havoc and chaos around, and the Demi god of Terror was unafraid as he flew into the cavernous area where the guardians and healers stayed. Spotting someone particularly...glowy...he simply yelled "Banzaiiiii!!!" and dove down sharply, hoping to bowl over whoever it was below him. HP: 35.

HP: 31"Bonsai? Someone brought a plant?" Zarith called out as he turned around in a confused circle. Something heavy slammed into him seconds later, knocking his slender body to the ground. Zarith felt as if the ceiling fell on him. With a gasp, he flailed a elbow at the sense of a cursed on him. "O-o-off!" He rasped as he flailed.

Axel saw the glowy dude look confused right before he slammed into him, and say something about a plant? He moved though the elbow clipped his ear and he grinned. "No, but I can plant a fist on yer face!" He quips, before aiming a punch at Zarith's head. "And there's no way I'm gonna get off...well..not this early, I just met you!" HP: 33

HP: 30Zarith may have been caught by surprise, but he saw the fist coming. With a jerk of his head, he felt Axel's fist brush his cheek. He rather hoped the other punched the rocky floor and got his knuckles cracked! "You..your..awful! Get off of me!" He exclaimed as he attempted to push Axel off him.

Axel did in fact punch the ground more than his face, not that he noticed. He did notice getting thrown back, the glowy Demi showing more strength than he thought he'd have as he landed on his tail. "Haha, good one!" he called to him, then used his wings to lift himself back up to his feet quickly, a knife appearing out of seemingly nowhere as he flung it at Zarith. HP: 29

HP: 29As quick as a shot, Zarith pushed himself to his feet. His wings flared and fluttered, glowing brightly and then fading as he faced Axel. He saw the motion of the cursed head, and Zarith dodged. he felt something cut quick across his pale cheek, but didn't let it distract him. Zarith pulled on the chain around his waist, loosening it so he could lash it at Axel like a whip. "I...I will make you regret attacking me. I am the servant of Death!"

Axel wasn't too upset he missed with the knife, as he was already moving in, having pulled his jackknife out, but the speed of the ghostly demi surprised him and the chain lashed across him. He felt the impact, but nothing else, as he couldn't feel pain, and even though his body reeled from the force of it, he wasn't distracted as he continued to close the gap, aiming to plug the end of the jackknife in Zarith's eyesocket. "OOH, naughty, whipping me with chains...don't let my babe find out!!" HP: 25

HP: 27Zarith was stunned. He'd struck, and hard. But this cursed didn't even seem to flinch! Zarith reacted slowly to the return attack. His head jerked to the left, and he felt a deeper gash cut his pale skin. His hand lifted up to slap over the wound as his eyes flickered with pain. "You are a very corrupted soul!" He exclaimed. Zarith's wings flared brightly and he snapped them as quick as a hummingbirds to aid in speeding his movement. He attempted to dart past Axel, his body twisting so he could try and lash out with his chain again.

Axel was used to that reaction -- seeing as he didn't feel pain. Warrior thought it was a weakness, but he didn't. Freaking out opponents was part of what made him the Demi God of Terror. And win or lose, he liked knowing he tended to leave his opponents absolutely terrified of him. "Oh, I'm not a Corrupted, you must be confused!" he pipes cheerfully. He turned as Zarith darted past him, and got hit by the chain again, hard, so hard that he actually was knocked back on his a**. "Wow, you must have had practice with that thing!" He grins at him, up again immediately, using his own wings to speed himself at Zarith, this time aiming his knife at his throat in a cheerfully violent manner. HP: 21

HP: 23Zarith wasn't as surprised this time when the cursed did not seem too phased by his blow. He lightly tapped his toes against the ground as he resumed his hovering. "I do not know what you mean." He replied to the comment he'd practiced with his chain. They were just his chains. A part of him like his wings. As Zarith was thinking this, he saw Axel lunge towards him. He flared his wings and hopped, then grunted as Axel barreled into him. His lift upwards brought his throat out of line of the dagger, but it still stabbed deep into his chest just inches below his throat. Blood sputtered from his lips as he gasped for air. Zarith retaliated by attempting to loop his chain around Axel's knife wielding wrist, and twisting it sharply to the side even as he kicked out at the other.

"OOOH, pretty blood!" Axel crowed, and attempted to stab him again, going for the eyes again, somehow managing to avoid the chain, and twisting to mostly avoid the kick. "I wanna see more of it!" HP: 20

HP: 19 The blade moved too fast for Zarith to react to. Suddenly the blade was slashed across his face, and the demigod gave a sharp piercing scream. He jerked back violently, his hands clapped over his eyes as he tried to distance himself from Axel. With his hands over his eyes he obviously could not see, but the chains he had been lashing at Axel reared up. Like serpents, two of them lunge out to try and crack against Axel's head.

Axel grinned as he got the ghosty demi good. "Thaaaaat's what I'm talkin' about!!" He watches him flail and back up and then his eyes go wide as he sees the chains dance up like magic. "Whoaaa.... cooool..." He is so mesmerized by them he doesn't expect them to lash out at him -- well not as quickly as they do, and he's cracked hard over the skull, causing him to stumble back from the impact. Though there was no pain, he felt his eyes water a little and his vision was getting blurry. "Oooh.. " he mumbles, as the ghosty dude seems to double in front of him. He decides to use his wings and lift up in the air to fly over and instead of using his knife, he tries to grab Zarith's face with his tail-hand, hoping its spikes will do some damage.

HP: 15 Blinded as he was, Zarith could not avoid the attack that came. However, with his hands protecting his face, he was spared any potential devastating scarring when Axel's tail hand grabbed his head. A deep bone scraping gouge cut through his blue hair and another cry of pain came from Zarith. Several blue ghostlights darted over to hover around Zarith, and his chains twined around each other. Forming a thicker chain this way, they swept upwards to try and crack across the thin center of Axel's tail.
