HP: 20 It was about bloody time! Riorden was sick of the march through what seemed like endless tunnels. The only thing that kept him from snapping and punching a random cursed was the fact his kids kept prattling excitedly over their first war. He was able to spend time giving them last minute pointers and correcting Marek's assumption that his battles with the followers were going to be a cakewalk. Riorden raced towards the congregating followers in search of some very specific targets. he wasn't going after the 'easy' ones. He wanted a challenge. He wanted to fight someone that would end up giving him a good rep for beating. "Ha ha!" He called out in delight as he located Grywin. Making fists with both his hands, he simply leapt at the general and lashed out with a right hook.

 Grywin wasn't unsuspecting as Rio launched himself at him. He was quick to flare his feathered arm, using it like a damper he lessened the power of the strike. His thin smile grew as he made to sweep the cursed to the side with his feathered arm. "If it isn't one of the cursed that seeks to destroy my God." His visor glints and he aims a follow up left hook on his enemy. HP: 28

HP: 17 Riorden's head cracked back with the first blow from his foe. Yet as his head snapped back, he was grinning like a fiend. Riorden lashed upwards with his foot in an attempt to land a kick on the generals torso. "Oh. Your Gods not that special. I wanna destroy all of you. Not just...whoever it is your working for?"

Grywin grins slyly in response, gliding backwards at the incoming kick to reduced the force while still staying close. "Oh? My mistake. Guess I shouldn't take it personally than." He retorts calmly throwing a straight punch for Riorden's face. HP: 26

HP: 14 Riorden was scowling sourly as his kick seemed ineffective. He lifted his hands a bit to take on a guard position. Yet it seemed like it was hardly effective when the general lashed out at him, scoring a skull ringing punch to his face. Rioren staggered back, one of his eyebrows had split open, and red blood ran down his face. "Goddess damn it...I've gotten rusty...must be the kids." He muttered under his breath as Riorden ducked his head and attempted to get in under Grywin's reach so he could try to land another punch on the others ribs.

Grywin's thin smile didn't fade even as the cursed caught his ribs with a solid punch. A light grunt slipped out, but he wasn't concerned about it, or quite frankly this cursed one. He spun quickly and aimed to drive his elbow into the side of Rio's head to rattle his bloodthirsty brain. HP: 23

HP: 13 Riorden had seen a move like this before. When the general spun around, he ducked. He felt the elbow tap across the top of his head hard enough to bruise, but he knew he had avoided a strong blow. "Heh." He smirked as he lunged forwards to try and tackle the general. "Come here you fluffy bedsheet!!"

Before Grywin had the chance to brace himself the bloody cursed lunged, tackling his lightweight form to the ground roughly. he could feel his body protesting with the pain, but he merely grinned. "Fluffy bed sheet am I?" He replied with a chuckle in his voice. He jerked his vizored face up into Rio's with as much force as he could muster from the position. HP: 19

HP: 12 Ah ha! They went down! Riorden felt the very slight form of the general under him. Damn, they really were sort of delicate weren't they? Riorden saw the visored face coming at him, and he reacted without thinking. Riorden tilted his head so Grywin's visor cracked into the thicker bone of the side of his head. "Oh please, you got any idea how many I take to the face?" He asked as he attempted to hit the general under him as hard as he could with a fist to his upper chest.

A sound of pain leaked out with the rush of air as the punch emptied his lungs of air. Somehow this didn't seem to stop him from poking at the cursed anyway. "I'm sure you do, it's not much to look at." He grinned, a trickle of blood leaking from the corner of his mouth. He reached up to hook his arm around the back of Rio's neck to yank it down against his face that he would jerk up again, appearing not to care that it hadn't worked well last time. HP: 15

HP: 9 "Least I don't have to hide mine behind a mask." He rasped out at his foe. Riorden had felt a moment of satisfaction over hitting the general so hard...but that quickly died when Grywin wrapped his arm around his neck and limited his ability to avoid the head blow again. Rio's head was ringing and his sight blurred for a moment. Blindly Riorden attempted to slam his forearm down into the generals neck.

A gagging sound came from Grywin as the cursed crushed his airway with his arm. It stopped him from making a retort and sucking in the appropriate amount of air. He started to get light headed, then his grin returned. He brought his 'knees' up into Rio's stomach trying to remove him from on top of him with as much force as he could. He knew his enemy was more experienced, but it was not in his plans to loose. HP: 12

HP: 6 As much as Riorden would have delighted in the pain he might have been inflicting on his foe, he suddenly found himself thrust off Grywin. Riorden tumbled like a log, over and over, then finally came to a stop. With his head still spinning, he pushed himself to his feet, and staggered towards the general. As he got closer, Rio simply tried to swing at Grywin. "Your not so tough." He gasped.

As Rio tumbled away Grywin rose and sucked air back into his lungs. Before he was totally ready for the next move the gasping cursed slipped under the winged arm he lifted in his defense and hit the tender spot on his ribs. Under his mask his eyes narrowed darkly he lifted his normal arm and brought his elbow down on Rio's neck/back. HP: 9
