The Corrupt Eternal Senshi was out on the prowl tonight, as ordered by General Painite. He followed her command and no one elses, as she had been the one to claim him, and she would not let him go. He had no choice in the matter, but he really found he did not care too much about any of that. If she died and some other Negaverse soldier decided to boss him around, he would probably just go with it.

What did it matter?

Tonight, he was hunting for the senshi and knights that dared to try and sneak around the city in hopes of beating the Negaverse back, or finding supplies for themselves. The ones brave enough to take the risks that being found entailed. They were the best targets, anyway. Better than going to find the ones that were hiding, though he was sure Painite would not care about the specifics of who and what he was fighting. She just wanted to see what he could do.

He thought he had felt an aura somewhere nearby, and he was walking along the outskirts of the city, where she had told him he would find the most.

His focus was set and he was determined to break some faces and bones tonight, and if he could manage it, he would go back to Painite with a kill count to relay to her. He was not sure what he was hoping to get by fulfilling her wishes, impressing her, but it was what he wanted.

It wasn't like he had anything else going on.

Whisler knew that going out patrolling alone was something akin to a suicide wish, especially for a transcendent Knight such as himself. But, to not go out and try to do something for the city just made the Knight of Polaris feel like he was doing nothing and letting even more chaos leach the life and freedom from the place he had called home for his entire life.

To be honest, when Whisler thought it all through, he couldn’t believe he had ever been on the side of chaos to begin with, and was very thankful that he didn’t remember a damn thing about it. Now, now there was no way they could take him back to their side, no matter how hard they tried…so of course powering up was asking to be killed. He was useless any other way.
The knight stiffened when he felt the chill disgusting feeling that only someone tainted with Chaos could bring and stood, tense and ready for battle.

When he saw who it was, however, the knight faltered. He had known that Chaonis, Camelot’s son had been corrupted, but he never thought he would be in the position to fight the other male…

“Chaonis. What a pleasant surprise. What is it that you’re doing out here? Having fun, are you?” He wanted to keep this light and…well. Not get it messy, but his hand was clutched rather tightly around his chain regardless.

Chaonis did not know the knight as he approached, and was getting used to the fact that others knew his name while he had no clue who they were. He frowned at the knight, not getting even a slight pull of memory, as he did with others, sometimes.

No, this guy did not seem to have any weight with him, as a memory or a ghost, and that meant he had no problem trying to kill him and take proof of his death back to Painite, to prove his worth. Painite wanted him to be strong and useful, and to work as well on his own, under her orders, as he did while standing next to her.

She wanted a war dog, and he could be that.

"I'm not having fun. You shouldn't be here: you know that. I don't have any orders to take you in or give you warnings. So I guess you better be ready for a fight."

He didn't really need to know who this was to want to fight him. He was told to hunt and fight, and that was what he would. He did not know Whisler's connection to Camelot, and it was not likely that it would mean too much to him, anyway.

Whisler had figured it would come to a fight. Honestly he had figured that one day this would happen, though…that didn’t make it any easier. The son of the man who he considered a father…a boy who, even though he didn’t really know him all that well, he was still there. Camelot had always been so proud of his son…and was so devastated when he got corrupted…though…

Though it was always a risk that they took…or was a risk that he used to take, after becoming more connected to his wonder…well…the issue of corruption became more of a non-issue, though of course, that made him a kill-on-sight target then, so…that was kind of a bummer, but hey. It was better than being corrupted again.

Anything was better than being corrupted again.

“Fine than, Chaonis. If it’s a fight you want, then it’s a fight you’ll get. I’m ready when you are, brother.” He began swinging the chain in his hand, the pendant beginning to glow slightly. With someone as dangerous as Chaonis…well. It was better to strike quickly and as hard as possible before he had a chance to really do a lot of damage.

Channeling his magic, Whisler began swinging the chain above his head, using his power to draw the senshi closer, fully intent on delivering a spectacular punch to his gut when he got close enough. Hooray for magnetism. Hooray indeed.

Knight Magic
When Whisler uses his Knight magic, his is given the choice to use the magnet to repel or attract his foes or allies. The range is upped to fifteen feet due to the lengthening of the chain and the size increase of the magnet, and the maximum time he can hold the spell for is one minute.

Chaonis did not know anything about the friends his father had, or the bonds he had built with others. Even before he was corrupted, the duo had only just started sharing with one another, and that was fairly limited. It had been a very long road for the duo, but they had gotten closer. Then, of course, it all changed when Painite took Chaonis from all he knew, and created her little minion.

He had a list of names to hunt down, and that was always growing. Painite learned more about who Camelot cared about, and she turned that knowledge against him by sending his son to hurt them. Chaonis was also capable of gathering his own information, and bringing it back to her.

But he was beginning to doubt his roles, and if he really wanted to hurt these people. Even the ones he could not remember at all. He might not have ever known them, they were just friends of his father's, but that did not mean he had the right to just kill or hurt them because Painite thought it would be fun. Thinking like that, though, went against the Chaos that pulsed in his starseed.

Chaonis was surprised when he felt the pull of the magic, but he did not have much chance to resist it. Instead, he went with it, getting pulled closer and using the momentum as best he could to throw his own fairly wild punch.
