It had been a while since their trip to Mistral and Buyan finally felt like going back on patrol. To be honest she'd felt a little under the weather for a few days after, like she'd gotten too cold from all that water. Luckily her smoothies and healthy doses of vitamins kept her from getting sick.
The Page hummed as she strolled down the street carrying an umbrella in case it rained, the weather had seemed as if it might so better safe than sorry. She was also attempting to keep her attention on power signatures too so she didn't run into any surprises as she walked. It took her a little bit to reach where she turned into the park but it was a nice enough night despite the few clouds she didn't mind a short cut to the other shops across the way.
"Hm. . . If only I'd thought to bring some money for a snack and drink." The page mused as she strolled, her fuku was lacking horribly in pockets and this made the poor page rather sad over the fact. It meant she'd eventually have to power down somewhere if she wanted to stop for a midnight snack and hoped it would maybe turn into a romantic rondevu. The page gave a girlish giggle at her own silly notions. "I need to stop hoping I run into a knight in shining armor. No one's going to sweep me off my feet." She said to herself, "It would've already happened." There was a sad wistful sigh.

"This was a bad idea..." Buddingtonite told himself, continuing to lay on top of the tent that hung over the little diner that he chose to be his own rendezvous spot for his patrols. It was a tight tent and even with his mumbling, no one seemed to notice his presence and he took full advantage of it, lounging around and gazing up at the cloudy sky. One of the perks about being a general in the Negaverse was that there were few out there on the opposing side that would cause him to panic, and there were few on his own side that could say or do a damn thing to him if they caught him slacking on the job. Few bothered him in this state, and he took full advantage of that to whine. "It's just too hot to want to do anything today. Can't we just... call off this war until the fall season?"
That would have been nice, because then it would have given him an advantage over his opponents, should any be foolish enough to try and attack him. The winter months were the best! He was nice and snug in his uniform while the poor senshi froze their butts off in their adorable little fukus. The idea of them freezing made him think about how nice it would be to find something nice and cold to eat or drink in this summer heat, and that led to him really wanting to get out of this damned uniform. There was no one coming, there was no senshi or knight causing trouble in these parts! The 'ever watchful' General of the Negaverse was willing to look the other way for tonight... it was simply too hot for him to want to care!
It would then figure that the moment he considered shirking from his responsibility that he felt an Order aura tickle his senses, and to his great displeasure, that meant he'd have to attend to them. "Ugh, please, at least let it be someone worth dealing with!"
He rolled over and it didn't take long to spot her, and he would have had to have been hit on the head pretty damn hard to not have recognized her. Gorgeous blonde hair, elegant dress, though the umbrella was new. Yes, he had run into her before and came out of the excursion with a few bruised toes, but he was willing to look past that for the moment, if only to admire her beauty from a safe distance. "Ah, you're just as pretty as I remember."
She was close enough to where he could hear her voice her desires, and the memory stirred. He owed her ice cream, didn't he? Finally, he called out to her, but only after rolling off of the tent and landing gracefully in front of her. "I'm no knight, but I do have some armor that's shining. Perhaps I could partake in this 'sweeping off your feet' game in their stead?"

Buyan had almost. . . almost smacked buddy with her Umbrella for surprising her. She also gave a yelp before looking at the general. "Ohhh Buddy~" She said in a sing song voice. "You gave me a fright. Here I thought you were someone that was going to try to do . . . well who knows what."
She laughed a little bubbly as she waved it off, "You're also still as flattering as ever." Though she paused as he mentioned that he would 'sweep her off her feet'. She bit the inside of her lower lip. That sounded particularly dangerous but sometimes you had to get in bed with the enemy to learn more about them right?
"Ah . . . Well you most certainly may, but I have one rule." She held up a finger while the other with the umbrella found it's way to her hip. "No funny business. That means no energy draining, star seed stealing or other such acts without expressed permission. Because the moment you do I'm leaving." She was stern in that and expected it to be followed . . . granted who was she kidding this was the negaverse they did as they pleased.
She paused, "I'm going to give you a leash of trust. I hope you think high enough of me not to break it." There, Buyan threw in some guilt on top of her banana split to insure it would taste as sweet. "Deal?"

Unaware of just how close he came to making an acquaitance with that umbrella, Buddingtonite was all smarm and smiles for Buyan, despite how poor their previous encounter may have gone. However, tonight, he was willing to make amends, as there was no young man that was to be his target, no hungry youma, and no desire to raise his fists or summon a weapon at his side, and he could only hope that she was willing to do the same. After all, it would have been in her best interest to behave, considering the difference in rank that existed between them now, though that didn't stop her from teaching him a lesson last time. So, for now, Buddingtonite was willing to play nice.
"No, those days are behind me. Being a general means that I work on my own terms and there are few who can lord over me for a silly quota, and why exhaust the effort of terrorizing people when it's so unpleasant for all parties involved?" Buddingtonite placed his hands behind his back, promoting the image of a man that wanted nothing to do with fighting. It was too hot, and he had more enjoyable things to do with his time. He could only hope that Buyan felt the same way... and what luck that she was willing to play! Perhaps tonight wouldn't have been a total waste after all? He listened to her conditions and gave a solemn nod, bowing his head in agreement and offering a verbal when if that wasn't enough. "You have my word, there is to be no such thing this evening. Think of it at an apology for my rude behavior last time..."
He arched a red brow at the phrase, but he wasn't going to argue. If she was willing to trust him, even if only for a night, then he'd take full advantage of it. If he played his cards right, perhaps there was a chance he could open the doors of opportunity for another night? It was always a worthy investment...
"Deal. Now, how shall I ever make it up to you? Name it and I shall oblige... well, minus ridding the Chaos from my starseed. I may have to draw the line there, but anything else I'm game for. What would pleasure you this evening?"

Buyan watched Buddy as he was all smiles and friendly. He also seemed really willing to follow her rules. Of course, the page wasn't sure she was going to let her guard down. . . much.
She tilted her head a little as he said those days were behind him. True she noticed he was a General, which made this outing a little more dangerous, but apparently Buyan loved danger. Speically when it came with a man offering to make up for everything bad that happened last time they met. Her wheels were turning however, "Hmm, it's a shame all the art museums are closed by now. Or I'd say we should go there, perhaps another time for that one. . ."
She smiled slightly, "Lets get ice cream then. It'd be wonderful to have something nice and cold on a hot night like tonight. And it seems you would fair better from that looking at that uniform you have." She curiously looked at the material, "I do hope that's not some sort of upholstery fabric if it is you'd have to dry clean that poor coat if it got dirty." She knew from experience though that their uniforms normally cleaned themselves.

Buddingtonite liked to think that he was smooth and suave, and while his head was in the game and his goals were clear cut, he did not think himself to be that desperate that he'd allow her to openly manipulate him like that. He had been on enough dates with enough people to know that there were some ladies (and gentlemen, of course, because love was for all) that were masters at pulling the strings their potential 'mate', and maybe it was wrong of him to assume that she may have been the type, but it wasn't as though it were a bad thing to him. After all, manipulation ran in the Moreau bloodline... and Buddingtonite could respect a woman that knew what she want, and how to get it.
So, when she made the suggestion, he was willing to bend to her whims. Who knew, maybe all she needed was the chance to lead... "You fancy the arts, then? You seem like the type to have good taste, so that hardly surprises me, though you know, there is a benefit to being a General in the Negaverse. Silly things like locked doors and closing hours mean little when you have the ability to teleport."
Not to mention complete and total disregard for silly rules. Yes, if caught it might have reflected negatively on the Negaverse, but he had a plan to abandon her there and let her take the fall, should it get out of hand, so he figured it was worth the risk. Who would tell him no?
"Ice cream sounds like a grand idea... this uniform is perfect for fall and winter, but the other two months of the year? Not so much. Though might I might I suggest gelato instead? Honestly while nothing is wrong with ice cream, I'm spoiled and have picky tastes, and ice cream just isn't enough at times. My treat?"

Buyan looked at Buddy thinking about the possibility of going to to the art museum. "Yes I do quite fancy the arts. I'm an artist." She replied, "I prefer to encourage free thinking."
Though she paused when he mentioned he could teleport in. "And then be stuck there went the alarm goes off?" Her tone was dead panned, "I maybe blonde sweetie but I ain't stupid. I'd rather be left in the zoo than an art museum if you're going to get cold feet. Besides, they have cameras in the museum. They'd know to look for you my dear sir, I think it wise we leave the museum for when it's open if you wanted to visit and talk art."
She however smiled as he agreed to the ice cream and then mentioned an alternative. "What's Gelato?" She asked curiously tilting her head, so she wasn't up to date on all the fanciest new food trends. However, when he offered it as his treat she did nod. "If you're paying I'm willing to try new things."

The general arched a brow, intrigued to hear her admit her profession, and in a way he could sympathize, though he was certain that crafting candy wasn't quite considered high art. Still, it was an interesting factoid about this lovely lady, one that he had a feeling could become extremely useful in the future. He also noted that she was smart, if not a tad bit paranoid that he'd abandon her there, and he masked his annoyance with wide grin. "Figured I'd offer, but if you're so worried about breaking rules, Miss Free-Thinker, than we can save it for a later date. I'd figured I'd at least leave the option open for you."
Her loss. Could have been a fun trip...
The idea of taking her to the museum was shot down and now, completely obliterated from his mind, as she had managed to leave him speechless for a moment. Were his ears fooling him, or did she truly asked such a question? He stared at her, like a cow would look at an oncoming train, and finally, he managed to find his voice again, unable to control just how dumbfounded he sounded, even in his own ears. "You've never had gelato? Well, I'll have to fix that! A woman of your stature and fine tastes not having gelato, much less not knowing what it is, is a crime against nature and I simply won't allow it. Of course I'll pay... come, we need to correct this immediately!"
Maybe he was overreacting. No, he told himself, as he offered his elbow to her. When it came to gelato, one could never be overreacting.

ChibiGingi AHAHAHA THIS IS SO OLD I'M SORRY!!! Buyan smiled as he spoke, "I'm not worried about breaking rules, I'm worried about how an arrest record would look. 'Today the Destiny Art Museum was broken into by Two Terrorists they have been apprehended but one of them teleported out to leave the other one to take the fall for all the crimes committed. Police are still baffled. If you have seen this man please report him immediately.'" She was using her best reporter voice as she spoke.
"I mean if you knew who ran the Museum or could turn off the alarm it'd be different."
She stopped as he started at her when she asked about the Gelatto. "Oh, okay." She nodded as she took his arm. "Let us fix this crime against nature then. As it seems the easier option for tonight."
While he wasn't quite her ideal knight in shining armor this Buddy did seem to have some decent qualities about him. At least considering he was a Negaverse officer. She could tolerate him as long as he didn't try to kill her.
