It was a warm summer night. It was bright as it was basked in the light of the full moon and fireflies. But that wasn't the only light that danced between the leaves and branches, no, the forest seemed much more alive than normal this night. Flickers of blue will-o-wisps, and the red hot heat of festival lanterns filled a mysterious clearing. The wooded area was home, this night, to what seemed to be a parade of Yokai, whom had gathered to celebrate a mid august summer festival. Demons and beast alike, known only to humans as evil pranksters, danced and gave offerings to their ancestors. It was the Bon Festival, a summer tradition where the living give thanks to their ancestors by welcoming them back to make merry times and memories. At the helm of the festivities, sat a man perched up on a rock. It made him seem like the center of attention, however in this case it just happened to be the seat with the best view. How appropriate that a bird get the high point. The man sat with one leg hanging down off the rock while the other was crossed over to its opposites thigh. We was reclined and relaxed, holding a sake cup as wide as a plate in one hand. The moon and flickering lights danced across its rippling surface of the watery substance within. Draped over his shoulders was a red travelers cloak that looked much like a haori strung over a nobles back. His clothes were very traditional. A kimono like top of the best orange and white silks with white pom poms draped around his neck so that they may hang in rows atop his chest. His pants were not out of the ordinary, a simple pair of black pants with bandage wrappings around his ankles. His feet bore black ninja shoes. Of all of his accessories it seemed his shoes spoke the most for what he really was. He was a member of the worlds society, one of the demons that made a habit of mingling with the human world. So much so that he was one of their shinobi. Among all of his clothes, and lavishing adornments, it seemed his face was the most mysterious. It appeared human, all bit his eyes. Their white sclera seemed to pierce the dark of the night while a black rippling pattern blended right in with the after twilight dusk. His hair a striking white, rough and unkempt, and parted over the left side of his face. A red long-nosed Tengu mask hovering atop this parted hair. The man had an artful, devious grin curling his lips as he watched the festivities. He of all people had ancestors to lavish and celebrate with. However, unlike his fellow yokai and demons he had direct contact with them through a sort of meditation. Around the perched yokai sprung floating blue orbs of light, chakra will-o-wisps under his complete control. Each one, signifying one of the ancestors he was communicating with. He spoke with them mentally, but his face moved and reacted with the emotions he felt. He could communicate and speak with his ancestors all he wanted, but tonight was special. Tonight they talked and celebrated life as equals. It was a great evening, full of excitement and music. A world not normally witnessed by human eyes. However tonight was an exception. For the bird yokai had invited some of his friends to festivities. It just so happened that the forest they resided in was an equal distance between Konohagakure and Amegakure, equal distance for his friends to travel. The Tengu looked up at the full moon sky. It would be easy to find him, for if the music and lights weren't enough. His chakra would sure draw their attention sooner or later.

"Are we going to dance around all night,or are you going to actually give me a fight?"
A young female would walk down the darkened wooded path, with a semi large wolf canine beside her. this young female was known to most and feared by many for the stature of her clan history. from what her friends would remember of her, they would see a change in her this time, her attire once consisted of mostly coverage of her body, to hide the scars. now she bore a short black and grey checkered and rose patterned kimono dress with pink ribbon lining, around her waist was a large dark magenta colored sash, tied in a bow behind her with a thin blue knotted rope tied around in the center. and a white frilled skirt to match just the underside of her kimono dress that stopped mid thigh. around her neck was a simple magenta ribbon chocker, that matched the dark magenta ribbon that was tied up in her still long black hair. on her legs were pure black leggings that just stopped under her kimono dress, and she also secretly wore a pair of black shorts just so she didn't feel so exposed. on her feet were ninja sandal boots that came to a stop just below her knees, the heel was two inches high and three inches thick to give her some height. on her right thigh was her ninja gear packs that held her ninja weapons, simply the kunai, senbon and shuriken. on her back hidden under the large bow was another ninja gear pack that contained smoke bombs, explosive tags, her two special daggers and also the summoning gourd she was given. her hands were clasped together and held infront of her as she continued to walk. her head was slightly tilted down and her eyes were partly closed as they were down casted towards the ground. despite the hair bow in her hair her hair was pulled up into a high ponytail that was wrapped up to create a fancy bun. her bangs had been pulled free and framed her face perfectly.
walking beside her, was her large wolf companion who had grown more then what she was in the past. she was now standing at the young females waist. she had grown out even more with muscle making her weight even greater. her darkened fur had lost its purple shades and was left with nothing but pure black. her eyes had also changed, to a pure ice blue, instead of their normal golden amber color. the wolf held her head high as she watched around them, her ears twitching softly as sounds filled the air. her long tail swayed side to side behind her in a slow soft motion. turning her head to the side she would press her muzzle against the young females arm, causing her to look up, opening her chocolate brown eyes and having her look around both of their eyes caught the opening of the clearing as it was filled with many yokai having fun, and the festivals beauty with how it was all set up. the young woman was amazed at the site of the festival, and also slightly stunned at how many yokai were playing around. the way the moon shown down on the festival it lit up everything with a beautiful glow. a small smile pulled on the young female and the large wolf's maw. the young female and the wolf would come to a stop as they looked around. the wolf continued to look about, her ears twitching around and to the sides, soon she felt a familiar chakra and turned her head towards the far end of the clearing, and perched up high on a rock. a young but older male was looking up towards the sky, and the wolf turned her head away and nudged the young females arm again, getting her attention the young female looked down and then followed the wolfs gaze towards the young but older male, the wolfs voice breaking through the two's silence, her voice had deepened and darkened,"Looks like we are to meet over there Kuro."The young female, Kuro nodded her head, as she too spoke aloud and then walked towards the young but older male,"Yes, so it seems we are, Zetsumei."
The two females walked the short distance over to the boulder the young but older male was perched upon. once reaching the boulder the two females would bend at the waist, lowering their heads and give the young but older male their bows of respect, Kuro would be the first to stand up right, a small smile on her lips, her voice crisp as she spoke,"Hello Hinote-Sensei. its such an amazing evening tonight, don't you agree?"Zetsumei would slowly stand back up aswell, her head raising as she too looked up towards Hinote, a simple gentle smile on her maw.

The cool night air blew about Kenji's long dark blue cloak as he made his way to the meeting place Hinote-sensei had called him to. The Uchiha, weary of the location where he was meeting everyone, had disguised himself heavily, even going as far as getting a temporary tattoo on the right side of his face. His hair was dyed blue and he wore contact lenses that made his eyes a dull dark color. Not that you could see his face, with it being covered in an army-camo face mask and bandana with an unmarked forehead protector, full of holes. And that didn't scratch the surface of Kenji's disguise. Most of his body was wrapped in bandages, and he wore strange light blue and dark blue pants and top, and a pair of dark blue gloves. Strapped by a green strap across his chest were many staffs, carved from a fallen tree Kenji had found along the way, which took the place of his normal weapon, the broadsword Inazuma. He had figured the weapon was instantly recognizable, and so using a different set of weapons and a new fighting style would then allow him to not be so easily spotted. His sandaled feet made no noise upon the forest floor as he slowly made his way to the festival. When he arrived, Kenji was shocked to see the myriad of monsters of lore dancing in celebration. It was magical to say the least, and it put a small smile on the Uchiha's face, though no one could see. He casually stepped into the festivities, passing by many strange creatures and keeping his chakra levels hidden. He also looked around for his Hogasha Nakama, keeping an eye out for the trademark crimson cloaks or their chakra signatures. Kenji also indulged in some Dango as he passed by one of the many vendors, buying up many so he could share with his friends as soon as he found them.
Eventually Kenji sensed the chakra of his Sensei, and also that of Kuro Ruzukai, his partner in Hogasha and long time friend. Hurrying up, he dashed up to the cliff overlooking the forest and halted just before them, bowing slightly at the waist and looking at the two. "Good evening, Hinote-sensei, Kuro-chan." Straightening his waist, the Uchiha immediately noticed he was not the only one to undergo an extreme transformation, and his eyes widened in shock. Though it couldn't be seen, his cheeks turned a bright red has he looked over Kuros attire, only now realizing just how attractive the woman was. 'That's quite the choice of clothing, Kuro-chan....' thought Kenji awkwardly, blinking a few times. Zetsumei seemed to have grown even larger since the last time he had seen her, and looked fierce as ever. However, nothing could prepare him for the drastic change Hinote had gone through. Gone was the stern gaze and cold demeanor. Gone was the dark brown hair and Hogasha cloak. For once, Kenji saw a man that had come home from war, and could relax for a moment. His Sensei was, for the first time Kenji could remember, at peace. The strange floating lights around Hinote intrigued the Uchiha, but even more so did his white hair and Gogen eyes that glowed in the pale moonlight. Finding a small boulder to sit on, Kenji sat down for a moment and simply looked at the man for a moment, Dango steaming in the cooling air. "What has brought upon this change, Sensei? Is it the festival?"

Having been a few months after having finally saved his younger brother from there sister and defeating her Koutei had fully recover from the eye transplant that he had when he found out that by switch eyes with his brother they would unlock the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. This was found out when his younger brother who had been kidnapped by there sister was wounded in combat damaging and blinding his eyes, they had replaced his eyes with hers which lead to the awaken of his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. Now with his strength recovered he comes to this clearing in a forest on request from a man he met name Hinote Shin, making his way to the center Koutei notices the spirits and small demons around enjoying what appear to be some kind of festival. Walking a bit further he would then finally see Hinote along with two others, moving his way to them his black cloak blows in the wind as he brushes the hair from his eyes looking to the man who had invited him wondering what all of this was.

A smirk curled the Tengu's lips as he looked down on the three that had joined him. The festival was coming to a close, and Shin had called them there in order to send it off with a bang. A nod to all of their ancestors, and the ancestors of the demons partying around them. Hinote planted his right foot and stood up, and as he did his body changed. His white hair began to recede back into his normal chestnut color. His large black wings began to disintegrate into their individual feathers which danced off into the wind around him. He now resembled what the others would most know him as, the brown haired Tengu. As he hopped into the air, he descended slowly to the ground, as if gliding. As soon as he touched down, the festival came to a dead silence. The paper lanterns began to brighten, and the demons all around them faded away like ghosts. Shin laughed slightly, a rare sight. As he looked around the area was empty besides the four of them. He then spoke up, "I bet you want to know why I brought you here. Well as you may know, August is the time of the year that we come together and respect our ancestors. As a finale we are going to hold a ritual of sorts, a spar of honor to commemorate this event. The fight will be held two against two, Koutei and myself versus Kenji and Kuro. This area is wide open and well lighted, shall we begin?" Hinote took a few steps back and began to check the armor on his arms to make sure it was tight. He would be ready to fight as soon as they all prepared themselves. Hinote appeared unarmed, minus his ninja tool pouch on his back left hip. It was true, however, that he could call on more weapons later if he liked. It would be the first time any of them saw the Tengu fight in his ceremonial outfit. He looked wiser in the outfit, like a snapshot out of a time forgotten.

Kuro had adjusted her footing as she continued to stand. her hands still folded infront of her. Zetsumei had ended up sitting down her head tilted to the side as she looked up towards the moon, something inside of her was wanting to let out a long and beautiful howl, but she refrained. it wasn't until she smelt dango and a familiar scent headed towards them. lowering her head she turned it to the side and let her wolf eyes look towards a male who was walking towards them. Zetsumei tilted her head to the side, her ears twitching, she knew she smelt Kenjis scent, but the Dango was making it hard to concentrate. feeling another presence other then herself, Zetsumei and Hinote, Kuro turned her head to the side as she seen an unknown male come up to them. when he spoke Kuro knew it was Kenji. no matter how much time had gone past, she would always be able to recognize his voice, also for the fact that she could see a faint trace of black mist wrapped around his ankle. the black mist would always make itself known to her when Zetsumei was around.
Kuro smiled and nodded her head. her eyes blinking a few times. she would raise her left hand up and pushed her bangs away from her face and behind both ears."hello my partner. I like the change."Kuro then turned her attention towards her kimono and pulled at the bottom hem to almost make it seem longer then it was. she still had that self conscious part of her about being in something 'revealing' but she was getting over it, little by little. Kuro then turned her attention to Zetsumei who was no longer by her side, which was now an empty spot beside her. looking around, Kuro looked for Zetsumei. only realizing that Zetsumei had decided to try and play ninja. Zetsumei had disappeared into the black mist as soon as Kenji seen her and then turned his attention away from her. sinking into the ground through a black mist portal, Zetsumei opened another portal behind Kenji, slowly and cautiously she would sneak out of the portal and move around the staffs on his back as she would lean her large furred head over his shoulder as she attempted to snatch the plate of Dango from his hand. Kuro continued to watch, her hand raised again but this time it was to cover her smile and soft giggle. Zetsumei would never change, even if she was 'older' and more experienced she was still a puppy trying to play matchmaker.
feeling another presence headed towards them, Kuro turned away from the scene and looked behind her as a man with red and black hair walked towards them. he was new, as she had never seen him before so she was alittle confused. was he another member of Hogosha or something? trying not to stare much longer Kuro turned her attention back towards Hinote, Kenji and Zetsumei. Kuro adjusted her footing again and then she seen Hinote start to 'change' she tilted her head to the side in amazement. when he landed down infront of them she took a step back and folded her hands infront of her once more. her head tilted to the side as she listened to him speak, a spar? two on two? well that would be awesome, it had certainly been a while since she had a good fight. a smile pulled on her lips once more as she nodded her head. first speaking to Hinote then towards Kenji, her eyes shifted from Kenji to Zetsumei who froze alittle but was still attempting to eat the Dango that was alittle out of her reach,"well it certainly has been a while since I got to spar side by side with my partner. Im in, Hinote Sensei. what about you partner? ready to fight side by side once again?"
Kenji watched as another man arrived at the scene, not suspicious because Hinote had obviously invited him there. But there was a sensation, something was off about him. 'I can't put my finger on it.... but his chakra seems familiar...' thought the Uchiha, confused. He wasn't able to think much on the matter, though, because soon after the man arrived Hinote decided to reveal why he had brought them all there. A foolish, child-like grin spread on Kenji's face as he realize he was getting the rematch he had so much craved in the past few years. Leaping down immediately after Kuro, he left the Dango for Zetsumei to eat (as he had sensed her chakra appear behind him as soon as she appeared), and landed with the soft sound of sandals hitting grass. "I most certainly am, partner." he said to Kuro, never taking his eyes off his Sensei. The grin ever present on his face, Kenji cracked his knuckles and rolled his shoulders, the many staffs on his back clicking in the process. This made him realize he wasn't prepared for a fight of this scale, so he brought his hands together in the Ram hand seal. "Henge no Jutsu." A cloud of smoke enveloped his body, obscuring him from view for a moment before clearing, and revealing another costume change. Now, Kenji wore an elaborate white cloak, emblazoned upon it many black flame designs, and the Uchiha Clan symbol could be clearly seen on his left shoulder. A cloud-like collar framed his face, where his white hair fell in front, covering one eye. Highlighted black underneath, it went along with the theme of black and white across his outfit. His sandals were now replaced with white shinobi combat shoes, and under the cloak was battle armor, stylized in the way of the new age samurai seen in Amegakure's Raijin Clan. Hanging on his back now were the Inazuma and his katana, which had been previously disguised staffs. The other two staffs Kenji took off of his back and stabbed into the ground on either side of him.
Now that he was ready, Kenji opened his eyes, the contacts gone and replaced with his normal silvery-blue. This would not last long, however, as they began swirling in their sockets, changing to the red and black 3 tomoed state of his Clan's Kekkei Genkai, the Sharingan. However, the didn't stop there. Kenji had already seen the Gogen reflecting the moonlight in his Sensei's eyes, and the Uchiha would show respect by matching his power. The three tomoe in his eyes began connecting as they swirled by a single line around the iris, spitting into two tomoe each until 6 tomoe, shaped like a Yaska Magatama, stopped their rotation in the eye. "Things won't go like last time, Hinote-sensei." said Kenji, smiling still. But a seriousness to his tone of voice would show his true thoughts. "I've trained long and hard for this. I hope you're ready." Turning towards Kuro now, his one showing eye glowing ominously in the dark, he asked her something, his smile fading into all seriousness now. "Can you and Zetsumei cover me for a bit? Then we'll go into Formation Beta. Ok?" Hoping she could buy him the time he needed, Kenji stared down his opponents as he gathered chakra.'Raiton: Ōsatsugai!'he thought. This technique, created by Kenji himself, utilizes the properties of Chakra Flow and the element Lightning to dramatically increase his reflexes and overall speed by electrically stimulating the Somatic Reflex Arc; a neural pathway that controls the action reflexes within the body, and the optic nerve to increase Visual Acuity. Unlike similar techniques, this technique is completely anonymous and is activated without the usage of handseals. In terms of usage, this technique can allow the user to see with an extreme degree of clarity, though not as defined as a doujutsu, and react with speeds rivaling those of similar anatomical techniques, such as Lightning Release Armor, but not quite as fast. In terms of drawbacks, the concentration required to pinpoint the reflex arc and optic nerve is enormous, requiring the user to stand still or remain under cover for exactly two seconds; which, as any shinobi knows, battles are won in seconds. This was why Kenji needed Kuro to buy time, for if he could not focus for the entire 2 seconds, he'd lose concentration and surely be defeated. If he succeeded in activating the jutsu, however, it alongside the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan would give him greater visual clarity then either by themselves, thus allowing him to predict and react to most high speed movement bar teleportation or jutsu of the same caliber as his own.

Standing along side the man known as Hinote Koutei listen to the other two as they talked before seeing Kenji make a hand sign to change his look, as all of this goes on Koutei's chakra focus as his sharingan changes activating the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, increasing his visual he looks to the Uchiha who had finish his form change and was now going into what appear to be a type of focusing moment to get his chakra ready for some kind of jutsu. Swiftly Koutei steps in front of Hinote raising a hand to the two people in front of him, his right eye flashes suddenly as a ripple appears five feet away from Koutei and Hinote, taking the form of a swirling mass suddenly the sounds of what appears to be high pitched cries can be heard from the vortex which would soon be followed by a massive shock wave of sheer chakra and sound exploding from it towards the two foes. The sound being so high pitched would most likely causes them to flinch and cover there ears, the shock wave to follow with it spreads further out gaining range as it hurls towards them with destructive force which if struck by it would send them flying backwards causing some massive damage to there bodies the chakra infused the shock wave also holds a special trait that when in comes in contact with another chakra infused attack the chakra is forced from the attack or object forcing the chakra to be disrupted. Due to how the attack was used and the distortion it came from the force and deafening properties of it would effect anyone behind the distortion swirling matter.

Hinote eyed the man standing next to him. Koutei Uchiha, one of the few remaining Uchiha in the whole world. Following the Uchiha clan massacre many more of the clan began to surface as if to conveniently contradict their extinction. It was bothersome for the Tengu, for one who began his life despising and loathing their existence. It seemed as time went on, he became surrounded by more and more of them. First was Arashi, the brother of the Uchiha that stood against him now. Kenji Uchiha was one of the few he encountered later in his life, however, Kenji's relationship to his former friend seemed to give him a second chance with the clan. He slowly became more tolerant of them, though that didn't mean he had to like their lineage. He couldn't deny that some of the Uchiha he had met were good people, it was just a feeling in the back of his mind that caused a bad taste in his mouth whenever he thought about them. The Uchiha clan were ancient enemies of the Tengu clan, it was a natural reaction. Hinote focused towards Kuro, and then Kenji next to her. He noticed that the girl wasn't hostile in the least while his foe Kenji was focusing his chakra. Using the Gogen, Shin honed in and focused on the both of them, sensing their spiritual energies. It wouldn't be hard to sense them now.
As Hinote got focused for the battle he noticed Koutei move in front of him, apparently getting ready to confront their two foes. He watched as the man created a swirling distortion in front of him. Shin was not prepared for what came next. A screeching cry, an ear jerking roar. It was as if the most terrible sound in the world reverberated around the area. It was hard to remain calm, as the sound was accompanied by a shockwave towards Kenji and Kuro. The Tengu covered his ears quickly, for the moment that the sound lasted. The technique slightly angered him, as it had given him a quick jerking pain in his head. Hinote exclaimed, "Damn Koutei," as he uncovered his ears. He quickly tugged on the Hogasha cloak around his shoulders and slid his arms back into the sleeves. He decided to leave the front exposed and unzipped, showing the traditional Tengu garb underneath. As soon as his ears stopped ringing he focused in on Koutei and honed in on his spiritual energy, remembering it so that he could sense him later as well.
Staying behind Koutei to hide his hand seals, Hinote flashed several of them quickly. As he did he thought to himself, Water Release: Water-Heavens Convergence. Using his chakra, the Tengu would be able to manipulate all kinds of moisture. Now that it was activated, he could call on it on a whim, using it to defend and attack. After the jutsu was completed, he paced a few steps to the side and joined Koutei on his left. He had fought everyone that had joined him that day, giving him a slight advantage in the battle. It was unclear however how much they had all grown since he saw them last. The battle was going to be a good test for all of them. Underestimating any of them would lead to certain defeat. Speaking up, the Tengu said, "Now that we have that out of the way, why don't we get started for real." He gave a casual gaze to Kuro, and then looked and Kenji. It was time for their battle to really begin. Hinote Shin and Koutei Uchiha versus Kuro Ruzukai and Koutei Uchiha.

"Are we going to dance around all night,or are you going to actually give me a fight?"
as Kenji jumped down near her, Kuro turned her body around fully so her back was towards him, and she moved to stand infront of him, almost protectively. Zetsumei had adjusted her stance as she stood on the boulder still, the dango long forgotten as she focused on the fight. her pure black fur bristled as she raised her head, her right paw raised and bent towards her chest, her eyes closed and parting her maw as she let out a deep howl black mist started to pour out from the bite marks on both Kuro's and Kenji's ankles as it started to sink to the ground and expand. a portal of black mist opened up on the other side of Kenji and out came another fully grown pure black wolf, about the same size as Zetsumei, though it was easy to tell that this one was more burl in muscle and was obviously a male. Kuro looked over to the side and smiled when Akuen made his appearance into the fight, it would be interesting to see Kenji fight along side Akuen again. Zetsumei would then jump down and land on the other side of Kuro and also took a stance as she was ready to fight. Akuen turned his head to the side and looked Kenji over nodding his head once before he shifted his eyes to look over Kuro and his sister Zetsumei before looking towards the two males who he was helping to fight against.
Kuro would then turn her attention back towards Hinote and the other male, Koutei. both her eyes and Zetsumei's were shifting side to side watching closely as to who would make the first move. Zetsumei and Akuen were controlling the black mist that was still spreading out around them all, slowly the black mist had grown in height as it was now covering all four of Zetsumei's and Akuens paws along with covering Kenjis and Kuros feet up to their ankles. as soon as the man, Koutei made his move by stepping forward, both Akuen and Zetsumei jumped forward infront of both Kenji and Kuro and let out a loud bark, the black mist shot up a wall barrier and draped down behind Kuro and Kenji and dropped them into an open portal below their feet, sending them into the black mist world. Zetsumei and Akuen jumping in after them closeing the black mist portal behind them. the man, Koutei's attack would only spread the black mist away as it was only that, mist. but there would be no sign of Kenji, Kuro or the two wolves that were with them.
{in the black mist world} Kuro and Kenji would land on a large flatten sphere, Kuro landed softly in a low crouch as she stood back up, Zetsumei and Akuen appeared in both shadowy mist like figures, both having blood red eyes. though there was a difference as to which one was male and female. Kuro looked over at Zetsumei and nodded her head as they both along with Akuen created black mist clones. the three clones jumped through a newly opened portal leaving the real Zetsumei, Akuen and Kenji and Kuro in the black mist world.
{the three clones: Kuro, Zetsumei, Akuen} a new black mist portal opened up in the same spot as it once disappeared, as Kuro, Zetsumei and Akuen all jumped out, bringing more black mist with them as it coated the ground again. Kuro stood in the middle as Akuen was off to the right and Zetsumei on the left. both at the end of Akuen and Zetsumei's muzzles were black mist spheres were starting to charge as black mist made trails up to the spheres. Kuro on the other hand raised her hands up and started to create the hand seals: Snake - Dragon - Boar and then a streak of black mist formed infront of her as she shot her hand forward into the black mist streak and pulled out a three bladed scythe. the black mist streak disappeared and btoh Akuen and Zetsumei shook their heads releaseing the fully formed black mist spheres towards Hinote and Koutei, the spheres would explode as they hit the ground causeing a large smoke cloud, and then Kuro would charge towards them, the three bladed scythe held within both hands as she raised it up and and then jumped up into the air as she burst through the smoke cloud above them and swung the scythe down towards them.

Kenji payed little attention to what was going on around him, focused as he was on the activation of his jutsu. Some of the things he did notice, however, surprised him. First off, the activation of the Sharingan by the man fighting with Hinote caught him off-guard. 'So, he's an Uchiha...' he thought, with the realization that was the reason why his chakra felt familiar. Akuen's appearance was a comfort, but being suddenly dragged into the black mist world, made Kenji wonder what was happening. But thanks to the relative calm of the black mist world, he was able to fully activate his jutsu, and his vision became crystal clear. Nearly every movement, from the bristle of a hair to the high speed movement of a dragonfly's wing beat the Uchiha could now see in perfect clarity. He alighted softly upon the large sphere and looked around for a moment to gather his bearings, then decided he needed to jump back into the fray before his opponents had time to prepare themselves. Nodding towards Akuen, another portal opened in front of Kenji a few few away, and he leaped inside. This particular portal opened up behind Hinote and Koutei, as Kenji didn't want to get in the way of Kuro's attack. Instead, he would hopefully help with distracting them, to increase the chance of her attack connecting. Weaving the Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger hand seals in a blur of motion, he cried out,"Katon: Endan!"Gathering chakra in his mouth and converting it to oil, the Uchiha spit out a large stream of the stuff, not igniting it immediately but instead letting it coat the ground beneath the feet of his opponents, causing an oil slick effect that made traversing the terrain around them treacherous. Acting fast so as to not lose track of where the two were, Kenji weaved the Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare hand seals and slammed a palm upon the ground."Raiton: Shichū Shibari!"A much smaller version of the original technique made to bind Tailed Beast-size adversaries, four stone pillars erupted from the ground around Hinote and Koutei, and lightning would begin to dart between the pillars. It was a trapping technique, meant to hold its prey in place while simultaneously hurting them. The lightning would course through them, frying their nervous systems and overloading their nerve endings, causing massive pain and making it hard to move. Kenji looked on cautiously, hoping that with these two jutsu in place, Kuro would be able to land her hit. If not, he was prepared for the counter strike.

Watching as they try putting up a wall of black mist and chakra Koutei shook his head watching the shock wave burst through it just seconds after it was placed. When it finally clear his eyes widen slightly as nothing was there after the attack, with his distortion now faded he ponders what could of happen and came to the idea of some type of portal jutsu. As he comes to this point he senses a chakra surge and focus back on the spot they once were at, if it was true then he would test this with his sharingan, when the blackness of the portal appear Koutei focus his sights on the portal before activating Unyu. As the wolfs and the woman marge from the blackness they would not know that they were aiding Koutei on his victory by allowing him to watch and sync his Sharingan's Space-Time ability to her own little shadow world, Finishing with this a smirk curls on his lips as it worked and he would now be able to lip into the shadow world with out them noticing, His focus is shifted to what was happening next. Seeing as how the woman drew a weapon he then notice the two black orbs flying towards him and Hinote but towards the ground before them, frowning there use of sight would be stricken from them due to the smoke that quickly enveloped the two men.
Being a sensory Ninja Koutei did not need his eyes to be able to fight and could still sense the chakra of the woman as she heads towards them, Thinking of back stepping out of the smoke to use it as a cover he stops as he senses the chakra of the make reappear behind them. As Kenji reappears Kuro is now in the air coming down at them, with a slight grunt he nudges Hinote as he moves forward into the smoke making the needed hand signs for the shadow clone jutsu, using this as a decoy Koutei's left eye glows dimly as Uhijini activates causing his body distorts and slips out of the dimension leaving the others to believe that the clone was Koutei. The clone breaks from the large smoke cloud channeling chakra into his stomach, stopping five feet away from the massive cloud it draws its Gunbai before swinging with massive power using the Gunbai Fanned Wind jutsu to create a twister of wind. Now focusing the chakra its been storing he forces it into his throat and opening his mouth to release a powerful stream of flames towards the twister, making contact with the twister the twister explodes into a hell fire of swirling destruction making its way towards the location where the woman and man would be now. The suction from the twister is at such a great rate that things near by would be at risk of being pulled into the twisting wind and fire of hell, by this time Koutei's team mate would surely made it out by now as the twister enter the range of the smoke drawing it away and hitting the oil slicked ground increasing its mass and power by twice of what it was before.
Having reappear in his own dimension now the real Koutei walks to a group of what appear to be giant white creatures with no eyes or legs, they have two arms and a leech like body with horns that cover them. Petting one he uses Unyu to open a portal to view into the world he had sync himself with before, The orb forms before him before spreading enough to give Koutei a view of the shadow world, from the shadow world the opening would be higher up out of sight seeing as it gives a aerial view of the woman and her two wolfs. Seeing as she was still there he figure the one attacking them was in fact a clone, stepping away from the portal now Koutei looks to the largest of the creatures known as Mononoke as it turns its body to face the small portal, using his ability he makes the portal expand enough so the creature could fit through it, the creature moves forward sticking its head through the portal now falling into it. Free falling now from the portal it releasing a powerful ear drum shattering roar down onto the flat surface below, slamming roughly into the flat surface the creature rises up facing the woman and her two wolfs towering over them easy being three stories tall, opening its mouth it releases another powerful roar that would make creatures with sensitive hearing flinch badly before rearing back one of its mighty arms to throw a earth shattering punch towards her and her wolfs. Watching the events to unfold from his own world Koutei crosses his arms as he waits and watches to see if his creature could finish off the woman and her pets so that he could return and help Hinote wrap up with the fight with Uchiha who was this woman partner.

As expected of two members of Hogasha. They would not be taken down so easily. Koutei's technique was flawless in itself, and yet, the two who called him sensei vanished from reality only to evade the attack. Shin sighed as he looked over to Koutei from the corner of his eye to see if he could get a read on him, but as expected he was still calm and collected. A different strategy was all they would need to get back on their feet. Then suddenly, as if emerging from a different dimension, Kuro appeared with two of her companions. One Zetsumei, and the other a new breed. They made their move quickly, the two canines moving off the sides whilst Kuro remained in the front. The Tengu's eyes traced the three of them quickly, with a gaze that could only be described as soul piercing. First Kuro, then Zetsumei, then the third. His eyes widened as if focusing on something when in fact he was quickly meditating. He had already been in a state he called Shugendo: Atman, where he could sense other people by there spiritual energy rather than there chakra. Everyone's soul was unique and could not be replicated, that was why in this case he was able to speak confidently, "Clones, without a doubt." He hadn't sensed the second canine before, but he was sure Kuro and Zetsumei were clones. This only begged for a question, and he thought it to himself as they charged the two fighters, The real ones are still in the dimension? Kuro and her companions wasted no time. The two canines on their sides charged up dark mist orbs in their mouths before releasing them towards Koutei and himself. Something new that none of them had seen before, a pair of raven dark wings sprouted from the Tengu's back ripping right through his red Hogasha cloak. He had always hid them, but something was new about the Tengu that the other three present didn't know. He had recently made contact with his ancestors and decided he had hid his birthright for long enough. He was thee Tengu. Hinote spread his wings as if he was about to evasively dodge the orbs, however suddenly they impacted the ground in front of him causing him to relax slightly. A cloud of dark mist rose up around Koutei and himself as if to distract them. It served its purpose, he could not see Kuro or Zetsumei any longer. He still could sense them though, and he could tell Kuro's clone was approaching him from the front while Zetsumei and the other remained near the sides.
Shin quickly flapped his wings forward, however the mist didn't budge much. He would have to take evasive action now. Just as he was about to though, a thin layer of liquid spread out around his feet. He felt it touch his toes as it curled around the cusp of his ninja shoe. It wasn't water, it was heavier. He thought to himself as he curled his toes around it for a moment, Oil? But where did it... His thought trailed off as his Shugendo: Atman focused in on the other soul that had appeared on the battlefield. This one was Kenji's, and without a doubt it was not a clone. He had appeared as if out of thin air, probably from Kuro's dimension. It was a well thought out sneak attack, pinning him and his partner from nearly all angles. Koutei nudged him as if to tell him what he already knew. He didn't have to see to know he had to move. Shin's wings flapped downwards, kicking up a gale around his feet. He quickly took off a good foot into the air. The Tengu hadn't used his wings in years, but it was still second nature to him. It was an extension of his body, flying came as easy to him as walking did to a full grown adult. Lucky for him, he couldn't see Kenji, which meant Kenji couldn't see him either. Quickly thinking, Hinote flew in the direction between Kuro and Zetsumei, keeping low to the ground and making sure to fly ample distance between them. Flying felt so good to him, as if a pair of metaphorical shackles had just loosened and fallen off. For years he had coped with just using an air walking technique, but it was nothing compared to the sensation of self-flight. Being in the dark mist even made the experience even more soothing as he could focus on all of his senses without having to worry about sight. Soon after taking off he emerged from the mist on the other side. He noticed Koutei had also broke through the mist and he flew over next to him, now with Kuro, Zetsumei, Kenji, and the other canine in front of them. Moments later, a blast of lightning erupted inside of the mist where they had stood earlier, likely hitting and destroying Kuro's clone. Kenji's chakra radiated from the attack, his decision to move had proved to be the correct one.
Koutei wasted no time. Drawing on his war fan, he swung it in the direction of the black mist which in turn kicked up a massive twister. It was in this moment that Hinote actually took the time to focus on Koutei and noticed that it was a clone. The real Koutei must have gone elsewhere. He would have to trust in the instincts of his ally in this fight as much as he hoped Koutei would believe in him. Not stopping there, Koutei's clone opened his mouth and released a blast of fire which enveloped the wind he recently created and exploded into a flaming tornado. It was a good attack, it would surely catch the four of their opponents off guard. It was now time though, for the Tengu to make his move. One that would best give them the advantage, one that would lead to a swift and painless death. He began to focus on the Water Style: Water-Heaven's convergence he had already activated. Since its activation his chakra had been leaking into the air around him and slowly spreading out over the entire area. For a normal ninja, such a technique would drain them instantly. But for Hinote, being a water jutsu master as well as a Tengu, the technique only caused him to take a deep breath to compose himself. He had plenty of chakra to spare, they where just getting started after all. He quickly spoke to Koutei, in a tone that would not reach any of the four opponents they were facing seeing as Koutei's attack was making so much noise. "Hey," he began, "If you could tell Koutei that I'm gonna need him to make another loud screech that would be great. One that doesn't disrupt chakra would be best." He nodded and then began his move.
He began with a meditation, one that would calm his mind and bring about the end for his foes, Water, the life blood of our planet. Water lives in all things, and dies with all things. Its cycle of life kisses our world and allows for our lives to go on without hinder. The hatred of humanity has no effect on its serene grace, for it is water that will remain whether there is peace or hostility, revenge or mercy. Come forth now and show how omnipresent you are. An extension of my body, so full and drowning. Let us show them, Water Style... As his prose came to an end Hinote's eyes shot wide open. The spiraling eye of that signified the Gogen was still ever present. The Tengu's chakra went to work, and because of Kuro's dark mist, the four of his opponents wouldn't see it coming. An ever consuming water style technique, one that would remain even if blown away. It began with Shin's body, cloud like steams began to bellow off of him. His own mist, full of his chakra and might. The wind created from Koutei's technique only proved to help him. His chakra singled out and bound to all oxygen and hydrogen it could find, and in doing so selecting only the most perfect of the molecules. The molecules it selects begins to fog up, and condense into the air as heavy deionized mist which in turn does not conduct electricity. It was pure water in a gaseous form, made possible by Hinote's chakra and the mental cognition of the Gogen. The mist followed the path of Koute's wind current and blanketed the area in a mere seconds. In the dark, it would prove to only make the area darker. In the night sky, it was even as dark as Kuro's black mist, even to the point that it was indistinguishable. The Tengu then began to suppress his own chakra, to match his own chakra present in the mist. It quickly enveloped, and covered the area around each and everyone of them. As soon as Koutei's fire attack concluded, the vacuum effect created from it vanishing would fill that space in too. It was a mist so perfect, so dense, that it would feel as if Hinote's chakra was everywhere around them at once. The Tengu made himself known to all who could sense chakra. He was indistinguishable from his own technique. Even if an attempt to blow it away occurred, his chakra would simply find more water molecules and fill in the gaps again so quick that it would appear as if it was not blown away. Such was the extent of Hinote on this occasion, but it was clear to him who he would strike down first, and when. he simply focused his mind on all of his surroundings and waited.
