Nora lead him to her smith shop in the basement of the Zaibatsu. As she walked down the hall past where she fired all her metal work, she passed her room, than one other. When she opened the door inside, it was empty minus a bunk bed and a side dresser. “My last guy slept in here, until he well, disappeared.”

 Lyrandis Desrani Warden of Souls
Quite the mantle you've passed me, father. I'm left with the legacy of the one who stopped the war... ...but also of the one who perpetuated it. Am I to be a pawn of fate as well?
I should think not.
"Your last guy?" Lyrandis echoed as he stepped in, giving the space a brief glance before allowing his eyes to fall back to Nora. He wasn't about to put anything out of context, but it sounded to him as if the fortune he found in being in this place was not at all exclusive to his own twist of luck. In fact, if the evidence was to hold any meaning at all, he had been surrounded by much better people than himself, let alone a great many he knew.
At the mention of the disappearance however, he gave a moment's pause, leaning against the wall with a blink as he folded his arms. It was starting to fall into place; the people who had greeted him were not powerless beings, like he would have expected - and the training grounds he had stumbled upon were exactly that - training... but for what? "What happened to him?" He finally decided to ask, more than a hint of genuine worry and contemplation coming into his tone as he did so.

Nora gave him a small laugh as she sense he was nervous, assuming the worst possible. "He quit and wondered off. He was always a little nomadic."
Nora's body brought her out of her shop as she began to be in a vision once again. Before her approached a young woman apart of the Doma, her white eyes stared at Nora as her dark hair fell over her shoulders. "When we kill everyone, you'll be locked up, and everyone will think you are apart of the Doma. So why not just come join us anyways?" The girl smirked evilly. For some reason, Nora watched herself each the hand of the female Doma member accepting her offer. And as their fingertips touched, Nora was back to her shop.
Nora shook her head and clapped her hands together. "Okay! Any questions?" She smiled at him, now realizing the woman he was looking for was a member of the Doma.

Lyrandis silenced for a moment. Nora's reverie had been a subtle one, but not an unchanging one. He suspected something was out of place, but she did well to hide it, and he figured it would do neither himself nor her any justice to pry into matters to which he himself wasn't privy. As far as questions...
"One too many." He admitted, giving a shrug. "Based on what I've seen... there's more going on here than meets the eye. Whether I came here by complete accident, my target managed to relocate here on her own and I just happened to land mercifully away from, or whether I was brought by another fate is all irrelevant. I've heard this... 'Zaibatsu' left and right; I thought it was simply the name of the city, but... maybe you could explain what I landed myself into, metaphorically speaking?"

☉☉☉The Blacksmith☉☉☉ "Zaibatsu is our land, our kingdom." She replied as she looked at him. "I cannot tell you why you've landed here, I'm sorry, there is no way for me to know." Nora walked past him. While she didn't know why or how he got here, she could have assumed at least part of what was going on. Eleven would have known.
Nora turned the corner into her Smith room, that held endless amount of metal, space and swords.

"Metaphorically." Lyrandis repeated himself, his tone somewhat more urgent this time around. "I don't believe in coincidence, Nora. If I'm following the trail of who I hope I'm not, then this place is in danger - and if I'm not, then you can't expect me to believe mechanical bodies suited for war and young men with curative supplies in the streets is anything like normal." He paused for a moment, realizing not for the first time that his bluntness was far from a virtuous trait of his.
"Something's happening, isn't it?" He asked again, his voice calmed and more quiet. "And, judging from the look on your face a minute ago, I think you know more about it than you're sharing."

☉☉☉The Blacksmith☉☉☉ Nora stopped in the doorway of her shop and leaned her head against the door way. "I don't know--I can assume this land is in danger, but I don't know for sure, or when." She looked back at hime and smiled. "Get some rest." Nora wasn't going to spill her life story and darkest secrets with some new comer she was choosing to help by the pure kindness of her heart. It was then they needed to build trust with one another, before moving on to dark secrets and pasts.

"Pah..." Lyrandis muttered his discontent quietly to himself. Two simultaneous thoughts occurred to him; Nora had made an agreement to answer his questions, but had quickly backed down on that; and the realization that he had managed to work himself into a corner by virtue of accepting the offered assistance was going to be a drastic hindrance to any hope of answers.
Reluctantly, he leaned away from the wall and gave a dismissive wave. "I'm afraid rest doesn't come to me easily." He shrugged, making his way back for the stairs. "And it certainly isn't going to come without some manner of personal peace. I need answers... so I'm afraid if you can't provide, I will be left finding them on my own."

Lyrandis sighed as Nora left him be, his restless mind running circles around him. Without incredibly much else to do - and he certainly could not bring himself to sleep in such a state of unrest and confusion - he elected instead to have a look around. He would be back, he was sure; he had a debt to repay to these people anyway... but of the many thoughts that guided him, none of them demanded any less than for him to find answers however he could.
With that in mind, and with another sigh to boot, Lyrandis crept back out, setting a pace for the edge of the city and beyond.

☉☉☉The Blacksmith☉☉☉ Nora walked through the halls of the quiet dead Zaibatsu as she carried the child down a flight of stairs, to the basement where her smith shop was stationed and the other children rested. As she walked downstairs, some were playing with each other, some asleep in cots, hundreds across the floors of her shop.
How was she going to food this child? How often was there a baby in the Kingdom? Not since she had been there was there a child, All the admin’s and the CEO’s children were grown up now essentially. She had to get creative, she was an artist, how could she not?
Stepping over the hundreds of children laying side by side, trying not to step on them, she made it to a dresser where she opened it up, grabbing a baggy and cutting off the end. She heated some of little cream they did have over her fire pit that was currently lit to keep the children warm in the cold basement.
Still balancing a child in one arm, a baggy in another and pouring the milk into, she created a way for the infant to be fed, he needed it, he most likely hadn’t eaten in a week.
Closing the bag and placing the tip into his mouth, she cradled him as he devoured what she had left. Starring down at him, she wiped his face some more, and pushed back his dirty black hair. She wanted to keep him. Was it fate that made her find him under her old shop? The kingdom most likely would put these children up for adoption to other villages across the land so they could have a good home, but Nora, she wanted this one—Though she knew it would be a battle with the higher ups.
As soon as he was done, Nora realize she was going to have to travel far to other kingdoms to get basic food for their land. Leaning her head back in exhaustion, she still needed to heal people in the hospital, after, she would plan her trip and find what she needed. She didn’t know who could go with her, but someone needed too—
It had been a few days since she had found the small child. The little boy whom she cleaned up, fed and kept warm. But these children were hungry, Everyone in the kingdom was hungry. to Nora, it was better that the adults starved than the children.
From found furs, clothes, hats and other belongings, Nora dressed the few hundred children up in warm clothes, for their travel would be long and far to Ascension City, where they would drop kinds off to a kingdom who could take care of them, and families who would want them since the attack on the Zaibatsu destroyed their homes and families. They would bring as much food as possible on the way back to feed the members there
Nora strapped the baby in a sling around her back and tied it in front of her. She knew she would need help, to keep the children together during the long walk, to help set up the tents along the way and make fires, and to make sure no harmed her and the children.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Blade had done his best to help the people of the town, though his skills were few and far between. And he always remained cloaked and wore a cover over his face. He had mostly worked with hard labor, but even that made the other people nervous. His weapon was always nearby and the look of him wasn't that of a laborer, but that of a warrior. He never spoke, and he never asked for help. But he didn't seem to need it. It was going to take a lot of work to rebuild what was destroyed, and Blade wondered if it was even worth it. He stretched up one day, his back popping from his back. He grabbed the hilt of his sword and pulled it out of the ground nearby. He walked out into the street and saw a woman with multiple kids wandering along the streets. He didn't know where she was going, but one of the children recognized him from the fighting. She ran over and tackled into his waist, hugging him tightly. Blade was clearly a little bit uncomfortable, but he placed his hand on the top of her head lightly and moved her hair slowly. She looked up at him and grinned, not wavering from the icy eyes that looked back at her. Blade looked up at the other woman and knew that she couldn't have been the mother, so why did she have this many kids?
☉☉☉The Blacksmith☉☉☉ More children followed, leaving the Zaibatsu slowly. The older ones carried the toddlers and preschool aged children, and they all followed Nora in a straight line. But one wondered to Blade, embracing him in a hug. A smile left Nora’s lips—That had only happened a few times this week. But now, each child was going to be given to a new kingdom, and she only had a few days to do it. It wasn’t going to be an easy task, but this was the task she knew she needed to for fill to make her contribution to the zaibatsu.
“Hey—“ She smiled and welcomed Blade. He was about as quiet as she was. "What brings you out here, it's freezing!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Blade looked down at the girl that was hugging him still and smiled beneath the cloth. The girl didn't seem to mind that he couldn't talk and instead looked at Nora. Blade's icy eyes looked up at her and he tilted his head. He glanced back at the building he had just been working on and he sighed. "Working...this town is...a ruin." The breath misting about his mouth as he spoke. He turned back to her and looked at the rest of the children coming out from beneath. He thought he knew a few, but none took a liking like the girl did. He shifted so the sword was fully sheathed upon his back, whereas before he just had it to the side. With gentle hands he picked up the girl and looked back at Nora. He almost didn't speak for a moment before he finally made a decision. "My name...is Blade." The girl made a face, but Blade wasn't paying enough attention.
