I tend to have pretty crazy dreams when I actually have them, and they usually involve things that are really important in my life, so I figured I'd have a spot to record any Team Aqua-related dreams I may have. Heck, I might even use these dreams as a basis for some short story.
On the off-chance that a dream happens to continue itself on another night, I will edit it's original entry to reflect any changes. smile
Entry #1 July 21st, 2014
Team Aqua was stationed in a massive seaside city. The city looks like Sootopolis because the rock comprising the giant cliff-side it is built into is white, but in my dream it was attached to actual land. Anyways, the bad guy we are searching for appears. He looks like Dark, but I can only assume he is Maxie or Archie. For some reason, I think it was stated he was Maddy's Father, but both of Maddy's parents are dead. Perhaps there's a plot twist I don't know about and he lived. I know the bad guy is not Dark, though, because Dark fights alongside us all in the next part. So, bad guy whips out the Red Orb and transforms himself into a massive (and I mean MASSIVE. He's Godzilla-sized) Primal Groudon and begins to terrorize the city. I think the villain was supposed to be Maxie (why would Archie turn into Groudon and not Kyogre?), but I swear I heard it stated that it was Maddy's Father. I guess I need to rethink some things. So, obviously this creature is massive and we have no way to counter it other than to summon Kyogre, who turns into Godzilla-sized Primal Kyogre. The two duke it out but despite the type advantage, Kyogre is losing. Groudon's body temperature is so high that most Water attacks evaporate before hitting him (Super Drought!). Team Aqua has one last resort. Maddy transforms herself into Godzilla-sized Primal Rayquaza (not even released yet, but I know what he looks like now razz ) and starts helping Kyogre fight Groudon. Eventually, she realizes that Groudon is just too powerful and wraps her body around him. She then drags Groudon down to the bottom of the ocean (the water was very deep around this city, so perhaps it was Sootopolis) and holds him there, despite the fact that holding onto him is constantly burning her body. As Groudon tries to take a breath, Maddy constricts him, trying to drown him. Eventually, they both pass out. Moments or days later, both are washed up on beach, passed out, in their human forms. Bad guy is arrested and Maddy is brought to a hospital with terrible burns all over her front. The burns end up healing just fine, and she wakes up listening to her own music blasting through headphones in the hospital bed (most likely a few days later). She is surrounded by members of Team Aqua and-- Jeff decided to go to school late so his alarm clock went off and woke me up for the first time ever. Much anger.
Story Adaptation Started: July 22nd, 2014
A loud horn blew as their destination came in sight. Sootopolis City certainly changed since the last time Maddy had seen it. Before the dealings with Archie, the city had been a quiet place built in the hollowed out center of a long dead volcano. It was still made of the same, beautiful white stone, but now the city was quite vast and bustling. When Kyogre and Groudon were busy brawling, massive storms had erupted all over Hoenn. The ones over the ocean had been the strongest and most terrifying of them, though, and Sootopolis was hit the hardest. Half of the volcano had caved in on itself and there had been many casualties. When the town eventually recovered, they merely rebuilt. They carved ledges and houses into what was left of the volcano, and Sootopolis became a more remarkable wonder than what it was before. The city was equipped with a massive harbor now that could accommodate vastly large ships from all over the world thanks to it being in the middle of the ocean having access to some of the deepest waters ever recorded. It had become a rather important trading port. Maddy finished her cigarette with one last puff of smoke and jumped down from the railing. She had been sitting at the front of the ship on the edge of the railing for a few hours now, just smoking and feeling care-free. Being out on the ocean in such a large ship brought her back to the days of her childhood in Vermillion City, days that were long behind her and deeply missed. And what a massive ship the S.S. Tidal Wave was! It was easily one of the largest ships ever constructed and it was very well-made and well-armed. Modern-day pirates would have trouble raiding this one. Compared to the Tidal Wave even Sootopolis City, built into a massive half-volcano, seemed small. Maddy made her down to the lower deck, where she was sure her teammates would be waiting. The sway of the vessel underneath her feet hardly fazed her as she made her way to the stairs. Sea legs were something a Vermillion City girl could never lose, especially if she was the leader of the great Team Aqua. Sure enough, she met her colleagues on the lower deck. They were all gathered at the railing, watching Sootopolis City creep closer and closer. "Hey!" Maddy greeted, walking up to them all. A few of them greeted her back as she took her place next to Dark, placing her hand on the rail next to his, overlapping their fingers slightly. "How long do you think we'll be waiting here?" She asked Dark. He shrugged and took a cigarette from his mouth before responding, it seemed he too had resorted to smoking as a way to burn away the hours of waiting. "Could be days, could be hours." He motioned to the vast amount of trading ships that were docked in the city's harbor. "There's a lot more to be destroyed here than just the city." Maddy frowned. "You're right." She crossed her arms. "The harbor seems to be almost full, too. The time to attack would be now." She began to walk away, she had to get the submarine ready. Dark grabbed at her hand. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked her, a bit of worry in his tone. They locked eyes for a few short moments before she finally pulled her hand out of his grasp. "I'll be fine." She stated. "And if I'm not, I'll have plenty of time to cope and be fine with it afterwards." Maddy made her way deeper and deeper into the ship, climbing down what seemed like endless sets of stairs. Eventually, she entered into a huge, open room. It was almost like a small harbor within the ship. She found herself standing by another railing that looked out over a 70 foot drop down into the ocean blue. Waves of salty water rushed under the ship. A bunch of smaller boats were suspended over the water, all rigged up to a powerful pulley system that could lower them into the water. At the back of the ship, was a large set of doors that the smaller ships would exit through, carried with the speed of the waves that were passing beneath the ship. Maddy remembered the captain explaining that they had this system in place because the S.S. Tidal Wave was too large to fit into most harbors and it would use the smaller ships to unload it's cargo. Maddy had tried really hard to ask why even make a ship that's too big for most harbors, but she'd probably build something that crazy big too if she had the resources for it.
To be continued~
