Light had been surprised but pleased to return home to a message from his eldest son asking to meet. He'd swiftly returned the call and they'd arranged for a day away from the pressures of their daily lives. The good doctor stood outside the museum gate, fidgeting a bit in his nervousness. Although he'd brought a short scarf along to disguise his appearance somewhat, there was still a chance someone might spot him. To ease his nerves, he turned his sights on the large art museum. Long ago, he'd brought Blues to a similar place, wishing to instill a bit of culture into the inexperienced young bot. Now he hoped they could relive that happy time and perhaps restore old ties.

Unfortunately, someone -thought- he recognized Light. Looking over a pamphlet of "people to definitely never let inside the art museum", a guard stepped up to the older Audio.
"...You seem familiar."
Thankfully it was a -newer- guard and he was a bit inexperienced. He continued to look between the pamphlet and Light himself. Though he was starting to put two and two together....
It was just then that a familiar whistle sounded through the air, and but a second later Blues dropped from a rooftop to land near Light and the guard.
"...Sorry I am a bit late father, apparently I have some...fangirls..."
Blues was making a very confused and upset face. The girls had been hanging on him and screaming about loving him or something. It was entirely too weird and had made him vastly uncomfortable. Quickly.
It was then that he noticed the confused looking guard looking over a pamphlet. Hrm.
"...Is there a problem here?"
"Er..General Proto, sir, I believe this is..."
Here Blues simply took the pamphlet and ripped it in half before handing it back to the guard.
"I believe there is -no problem- here...and that you owe this Audio here an apology for holding him up, and perhaps some incentives for -choosing- to visit this establishment today."
The shocked guard just STARED for a moment..before scurrying off. Soon enough he returned with a pair of tickets for the two and a voucher for the giftshop.
"Sorry for the trouble."
And then he was gone.

Light stood still as the guard approached, afraid of looking more conspicuous with a hasty retreat. As he opened his mouth to reply, Blues arrived in the nick of time. With a heavy sigh of relief, he smiled at Proto and pulled the bot into a warm hug. "Thank you, my boy. It is good to see you again."

Blues...didn't seem -quite- as hesitant to receive a hug this time around. His tail puffed up a bit, but otherwise he accepted it...and even returned it lightly. The bot wasn't fully disguised, simply wearing a comfortable grey shirt and some red pants. Scarf and glasses clearly marked it as the General..and if that didn't he wore his shield on his back just in case. Really he didn't have much to worry about here in the inner parts of the City. Wily's control was pretty firm here, and it was his Father who had more to be cautious about.
Not now though, no one would pull anything with the General so close by. And if they -did-...well Blues would be quick to beat the s**t out of them.
"I suppose I owe you a thanks...my ears match the rest of my fur now."
He actually grinned a little..the change had been jarring at first, but he seemed to be handling it okay for the moment. Likely due to the fact his pixie wings were off.
"Shall we head inside?"
He pulled away, handing the older Audio his ticket and allowing Light to take the lead..just like old times.

Light chuckled. "I suppose they do. Yes. The outside doesn't look a day older. Maybe you'll even recognize some of the art here from our last visit, hmm?" Light mused, leading the way inside. As he stepped through the door, the good doctor's gaze was drawn immediately to the ceiling. What once had been a simple white domed ceiling was now elaborately painted with a slightly altered version of a famous painting he'd once seen in a book.  The doctor's mouth fell open, at a loss for words.

"Maybe, I am not sure just how much I remember of this place..."
His own gaze was drawn to the ceiling, and Blues' own mouth fell open.
"..........I certainly do not remember THAT."
All of a sudden he found his words, and the General's furry tail puffed up more than it ever had before.
WHAT IN THE HELL WAS GOING ON?!
"....Maybe we should meet -another day-."
He...looked ready to get the hell out of here.
THE HELL. WAS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE HIM UP THERE?!

"......There may have been a few..ah...changes since Wily rose to power....but certainly the rest of the art is still here." Continuing into the first hall of exhibits, Light made his way to a familiar looking painting that also appeared to have a rather unusual addition. Odd. He didn't remember her with green hair.

Ugh...ugh why was he walking FURTHER into this...this... whatever this was?! Blues growled lowly to himself, but the only reason he -followed- his Father was to make sure he'd be okay. Creepy god damn art everywhere. Blues eyed the green haired one (...was that Terra?!) and simply sighed. He looked away from that particular picture to find... .......... Really?!

Light followed Proto's gaze. "Oh my...isn't that your um...ahem...special friend?" The doctor didn't want to embarass Blues by calling Bass his boyfriend in public after all. Someone could be listening.

Blues was quickly becoming embarrassed. So embarrassed his normally blue ears were turning purple from blushing.
"Let's just...look at more art, okay?! Okay."
His son was gently trying to coax him -away- from the painting of...
Ugh. Forte.

Startled by Blue's sudden eagerness to see the rest of the art exhibits, Light hurried on. The next painting seemed to include some bots surfing through yet another famous picture. Peering closely, Light frowned, not recognizing any of them. "Do you know them, my boy?"

This was just..getting worse. ...Though in reality it was a bit better than that -ceiling- piece back there. But seriously, what had Wily done to this place?!?!
"I know that one...."
He gestured to the cat-looking bot, appearing to be sharpening his nails on the tower like structure.
"That's Pluto, he isn't so bad...this one over here though."
He gestured to the larger on in the corner.
"That is Terra. And he is a giant friggin a*****e."
Blues frowned, his (still purple) ears pinning back.

Blues wore the same look on his face. Frowning. Ears pinned back. He was muttering something too....something about some damn green haired -jerk- constantly picking on him?

Light wore a fatherly disapproving frown a few minutes longer before shakingg his head. Despite the....eccentric artwork, he'd been caught up in the past, shocked that his innocent young son would say such a thing. Now he remembered the company he'd been keeping all these years. Wily often resorted to such language to express his anger. Why should he be shocked that Blues had picked up a few things. When he got his hands on his old associate, they would be having more than a few words.
"Yes well...lets move on." He gestured for Proto to lead the way to the next work of...er...art.
