Welcome to Melonie's candy shop  Melonie's candy shop is in lovely country area, her shop and home are on the out skirts of town. Her shop sits on the edge of an old country rode, and and her little cottage sits a little ways behind the shop. At her shop, Mel sells all sorts of old fashion candy's. There is also an area for a ice cream and soda shop, but it is closed till Melonie is able to find someone to run it. Melonie makes candy and she over sees sales in the shop it self. So feel free to come in and look around.

Melonie's left her cottage early in the morning, she headed to the door of her candy shop. She had been running it for only a short time now, she had managed to get financing from the bank in town and had recently build the place. A great deal of the candy Melonie made herself, some came in shipments, she picked up in town from other candy companies. She unlocked the front door of her shop and went inside. She left the sign to closed for now, since she wanted to make sure everything was in place before she opened. She went into the back and brought out the fresh candy she had made the night before, and put everything into the candy case. As she moved about Mel, kept her wings tucked in tight against her back so she wouldn't knock down any thing. Once she felt everything was ready Melonie flipped the closed sign to open, then she went the pillow by her cash register. There she pulled out a comic book and started to read while she waited.

 Mint: While walking on the side of a country road he thinks he smells something sweet. Turning he walks over to this quaint little candy shop. Opening the door he starts to walk in then looks at all the items he could break. Though all that candy, his faces lights up from the sight and smell of it all. Quickly tucking his wings to his side he walks further into the shop to spot the shop owner? "Hello madam My name is Mint Chocolate." He sticks his paw out in case she wants to shake it then goes on, "I am wondering if you need anyone to help you run this quaint little shop?" Lowering his head he stares at the floor with a blush on his face. He was never good around new anyone, not even friends of friends. Though he quickly looks up at her not wishing to be rude. Then he thinks, "What if she thinks I'm staring?" Taking a deep breath he keeps from going into a state of panic.

Melonie, heard someone come in the front door, she put her comic book aside and looked up and smiled at the noddle. "Welcome Mint Chocolate, please call me Melonie" she said in a friendly tone. She couldn't help smirk, a little at all his blushing and avoiding of eye contact. Shy guy clearly. "Yup I am in need of help, in order to open the ice cream section, I need someone to run it, I don't have the time to mind the shop and make candy, and serve ice cream" She said sweet and to the point.. "Also I could use some other help here and there" She said nodding mostly to herself "So what experience do you have??"

Mint: Seeing her smile he smiles back relaxing a tad bit, "Nice to meet you Melonie." He blushes even more when he sees her smirk. Then listens very carefully to her then nod, "Alright, I can understand with all those other things you need to do." Hearing how she makes candy thrills him since he never meet someone that made their own candy before. "Oh, I had some adoptive parents who taught me how to make and sell ice cream. Since they both owned ice cream parlors, and their children owned their own ice cream parlors as well. So I'm used to jobs involving ice cream. Though what other sort of help do you need? If I can help I will do my best to help." He nods cheerfully hoping it's not too hard.

Melonie smiled and said "If your good enough to handle the ice cream stuff, that works for me" she said cheerfully "Why don't we see how good you are?? I'll need to order some ice cream, since I had no idea how long it would be before someone came to apply for the position and I didn't want the ice cream getting freezer brunt in mean time" She nodded "If your up for a trail run, I'll order some and you can show me your stuff"

Mint: Wishing to wag his tail in pure pleasure he thinks better of it then says, "Oh thank you for giving me a chance to show you what I can do." Tilting his head slightly, "Though I have a question, would it be alright if I make some ice cream? I mean maybe a flavor or two since I heard freshly made ice cream brings in the customers.? I know how to make three different ice creams so far. They are vanilla, chocolate, and mint. I wanted to try making up a dark chocolate one though my adoptive parents thought three ice creams was good enough." He blushes then goes on, "Seeing as I made the ice cream everyday they thought it would be best not to make another. Since I made it even on the days when the ice cream parlor was closed. So we would end of eating the ice cream. I'm sure their children loved when I did that, though they probably thought I was giving them too much sweet." He tentatively paws at the floor not sure why he told her all of that.

Melonie smiled "Wow that's kool, so what do you need to make ice cream??" She asked cheerfully "You should learn to make strawberry ice cream" she giggled "Yum"

Mint: The blush fades as he smiles up at her, "Oh thank you so very much for saying that. I think it's kool as well! Oh yes, I will need sugar, milk, heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract for the Vanilla ice cream. For the Chocolate I'll need chocolate milk, whipped topping, sweetened condensed milk. For the Mint I'll need heavy whipped topping, sweetened condensed milk, milk, mint extract, and vanilla extract. It will take two hours and thirty five minutes for me to properly make the vanilla. Take two hours and 5 minutes to properly make the chocolate. And two hours and forty minutes to properly make the Mint ice cream. If you want mint chip then I'll need a bag of semisweet chocolate chips." Deeply thinking to himself a recipe starts to come to mind then starts speaking without realizing it, "Alright, if I do try making strawberry I'll need fresh strawberries, sugar, heavy whipping cream, milk, vanilla extract, some salt, and red food coloring. It'll take two hours and fifty-five minutes." He nods to himself forgetting Melonie standing there while he remembers everything else he has to do to make said ice creams.

Mel picked up the phone and ordered the ingredients Mint needed, she smiled and thanks the various people she spoke to and nodded at the normal payments since she ordered from these places for candy ingredients as well. "Alright the ingredients should be here soon, and I think I have an ice cream maker sitting in the ice cream section, I just have no idea how to use it" she shrugged, Mel knew what she could do and what she couldn't, making ice cream was not her thing.
