Reading- Laura is more of an internet reader than a book reader. She reads fan fiction from time to time, but her real passion lies in visual novels, especially ones where the reader's choices have a real effect on the ending. She also has a fondness for dating sims, and she has some rather racy ones hidden on her computer... don't tell anyone!
Writing- Laura writes stories from time to time, though she doesn't often show them off. She does, however, want to write her own visual novel(s) someday, and she already has some notes and story path flowcharts on her computer (some of which are definitely for some kind of dating sim). She is an avid roleplayer, mostly sticking to 1x1 scenarios but occasionally joining others for a group affair. She tells people that she mostly roleplays "general" scenarios, but secretly... that folder with the gibberish name is full of dramatic, romance novel-grade smut logs! Don't tell anyone!
Drawing- Laura always has a pencil and a sketchpad of some sort with her. She is a remarkably fast artist; to the untrained eye, it looks like she can produce a full body outline with just a few swipes and scribbles. As much as she enjoys standard people drawings, she has a particular fondness for drawing scenes and landscapes (drawings of Destiny City's streets where she plays with perspective are a favorite), along with the occasional fashion design. She also draws reaction images that she flips to to "caption" herself. If she meets you and finds you to be an interesting subject, she's definitely going to sketch out at least a portrait of you. Beware, though: she gets very odd ideas for what to draw people doing. Whether it's getting caught drawing someone in lingerie because she thought it would look good on them or involving them in something completely abstract and bizarre that she deems fitting (surprise! You are now riding a rocket-powered strawberry through the cosmos), her sketchbook can be baffling for those who dare to delve too deep. As a side note, she takes requests!
Virtues:
Friendly - Growing up in a family of sociable people has given Laura a share of their charm as well. She comes off as pleasant in interactions where she actually speaks up; she compensates for being less wordy than some with open body language. As she sees it, a nod and a smile will do the job just as well as explicitly saying "yes." Generally, her demeanor makes her seem rather agreeable to most.
Attentive - Laura is an excellent listener with great skill at multitasking. Even if she seems to be busy, she'll let you talk about whatever's on your mind that day, and she can give perfectly cogent responses that indicate that yes, even through the sketchbook, she's paying attention.
Imaginative - Just one look at Laura's sketchbook should clue you in to her vast imaginative powers. The rocket-powered strawberry sailing through the cosmos is but a tiny piece of her ability to put unusual concepts together and somehow make them work. She has a very powerful mind's eye and a talent for imagining what people look like from just description. She is constantly drumming up new ideas she can use or draw somewhere, and it seems that it would take a lot to stop her.
Flaws:
Doormat - Laura hates conflict, so often she'll just let people steamroll over her and she'll do what they want her to. Put enough force or unpleasant implications on her and she'll crumble. She fears reprisal frequently and will often be the one who bows down to allow something to pass. Whether it's letting someone else do something or someone making her do something, she will often yield to the other person's will if they're forceful enough.
Quiet - Laura prefers to be seen and not heard a lot of the time. She has a tendency towards shyness, so it takes a little prodding to get her to talk at length about herself. Naturally, that tendency may be taken as her being aloof or rude, since she may try to just sneak past a person if she doesn't feel like talking. While she is sociable when she opens up, she can be a bit slow to start talking.
Inappropriate Creeping - Laura has a problem. She's a Shipper On Deck. If she sees two people with strong chemistry, her drawing fingers start to itch, and she will probably stalk the "couple" (whether they're actually an item or not- if they're not a couple, she'll start dropping hints that they should be) to get a better look at them for drawing fodder. She has a remarkably saucy inner world full of romantic fantasies, and if she has a fondness for you (or if someone makes a request for it and she finds the person attractive too) she's almost definitely going to draw you in either a sexy pinup pose... male or female. ("It's an anatomy study," she says. Those come hither eyes she drew on the subject say otherwise.)
The problem with all of this is that she doesn't stop, even when it's clear that her subjects are uncomfortable. She'll creep and creep and creep, and even when an objection is voiced, she'll keep going. She seems to think that continuing to draw two people in a passionate embrace even after they've told her to stop is fine as long as no one finds it. She really is something of an obsessive fangirl, and when she wants her shippy fix, she'll go out and get it.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Grey and narrow.
Hair: Long (slightly past shoulder-length) and black, with straight bangs (her hair in general is super straight... I think the style is called a hime cut or something like that?). Two strands of hair hang in front of her shoulders. Sometimes she wears the occasional hair ornament... a purple flower in her hair, perhaps?
Face: Like her brother's face, it starts out a bit square and then becomes angled towards the chin.

Senshi: Sailor Porrima, Senshi of Laws. Challenge: In justice we trust! Template is F16. Neutral expression?Fuku Colour: (Bodice is white.) Main Color: #66023C (Tyrian purple) Secondary Color: #7000A8 (Just purple.) Fuku: ELEMENTS TO THINK ABOUT FOR SENSHI, FEMALE AND MALE -- YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE THESE, JUST THINK ABOUT THEM Collar -- A collar that retains the decolletage neckline. Let's say tyrian. Bow -- Something like a tyrian sash going from the upper-right (her right when she's facing us) to the upper-left part of the bodice (so, across the bodice), with a bow on top of it. Bodice -- White, toga-like bodice with a decolletage ( according to this diagram) neckline, sort of low but not too much so. Sleeves -- No sleeves, but there are gloves; see below. Brooch -- A round, purple, pearly-looking brooch with the scales of justice engraved in it. Bottoms -- A shortish, white, sort of full skirt. Possible tyrian and/or purple stripes/"sashes" on it? Tiara -- The tiara itself is thin and metallic (a grey metal); in the center, a single justice scale should hang down. Choker -- A simple choker with a small purple gem on it. Shoes -- Thigh-high tyrian boots. Gloves -- Tyrian upper-arm length gloves. Accessories -- Justice scale earrings (one scale basket per ear)! Also, on those strands of hair that she likes in front, I'd like alternating tyrian and purple ribbons (plain ribbons, not bows). Your MAIN COLOUR should dominate. Your SECOND COLOUR should be used for trimming. Attacks: These are your senshi's abilities, which will be used in battle. These abilities correspond to your senshi's element. Think of it as a "summary" of what your senshi can do in one word. Sailor Scout Attack: Court Objection! Porrima points at an enemy and calls out the name of the attack. She gains the power to change a "rule" of the battlefield (in an area within 6 feet max) for one person for 20 seconds. What this means is that she can "ban" magic or direct physical attacks from that person for that period of time (ie. magic fails to take effect or direct fist-to-flesh attacks are deflected). She does not need to say out loud what attack type is being banned, but it will be clearly marked OOCly. This attack can be used twice per battle. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Court Verdict! Porrima brings down her fist like she's banging a gavel and calls out the name of the attack. She gains the power to change a "rule" of the battlefield (in an area within 12 feet max; everyone in the area will be affected and people leaving it will stay affected, but new people entering the area will not be) for everyone (enemy or ally) within the radius of her magic for 30 seconds. What this means is that she can "ban" magic or direct physical attacks in the area of the magic for that period of time (ie. magic fails to take effect or direct fist-to-flesh attacks are deflected). Again, she can consciously choose which attack type to ban, and while the ban will be secret ICly, it will be clearly marked OOCly. This attack can be used two times per battle. Eternal Sailor Attack: Turnabout Court! Porrima brings down both hands as though slamming on an invisible desk and calls out the name of the attack. This attack allows her to create a "rule" of the battlefield that everyone (enemy or ally) must follow, or they will be punished by a rain of gavels falling upon them (the gavels disappear upon contact with the ground or their target). For this attack, the possible "rules" that can be created are broader; more than having a certain attack type banned, she can also make certain actions punishable by gavel (talking, for example; movement restriction-type bans will be simple, like "no scratching your head" or "no looking to the left"- big nasty bans like "no breathing" straight-up wouldn't work if they were even usable). Porrima does not need to announce what the rule is, but it will be clearly marked OOCly. The effective area of the attack is 15 feet maximum, and it lasts for 45 seconds. This attack can only be used once.

Hey Sami! I come bearing some crit! So, you were trying to work out her shippy obsession into a flaw -- I could see it bending into an "Inappropriate" sort of flaw; like, does she continue to creep artistically if her subject has expressed discomfort? Does she tend to comment inappropriately on the perceived "chemistry" between people? Stuff like that would be very flaw-y! Also, for her Eternal attack, besides the visual/auditory effect of the gavel, I'm not really seeing the connection to "law" per se? Like, I know, judges/gavel, but it feels a little distant to me, if that makes sense? I dunno, I would like to see a more direct connection, is all! Quote me once you've made changes or if you have questions and I will return~

Hey there Sami! So, the Civ side of your profile reads just fine to me, Laura seems like a well rounded person, and I have to admit, I love her creeper flaw…it kind of almost reminds me of myself XD I do have one concern about her basic and super attacks, there is so much going on in them, that at the moment they seem a bit too over powered. For the basic, if you could either shorten the time for the attacks, or cut the uses, that would resolve the issue, and for the super, if you made the attack only effect one person, since a 24 foot diameter is quite a lot of space to be effecting everyone, especially when the space moves with Porrima. If you could just tweak these two attacks, I will be more than happy to drop your stamp! Please quote me when you have made any changes~ 8D

500 years later, I finally came back around to fix stuff =w=;; For the basic attack, I cut the time and a use because... uh, it made sense to me to nerf both? @w@ Also axed the mobile radius because it only affects one person. For the super attack, I chopped the time a bit and removed the mobile radius. It now only affects everyone who was initially in the radius, not new people entering it. For both, I made it clearer that the area maximum is 6/12 feet, not a radius. For the Eternal attack, I did a mild time chop. I also included some clarifying words to address possible concerns I thought would arise. How is it now?
