The air was clear, at least now. For several months Hunahpu had felt tense... had felt as though the world around him was filled with some form of thick fog. As though he had cast his world into the depths of darkness and forced himself into a world with no light. But, Hunahpu always tried to find a light. He liked to look at the stars, to stare up at the twinkling lights, and watch as they shifted along the black sky. But it wasn't until one night, when the moon was full and bright, that he found himself drawn from the temple. Something deep in his claws and his bones drove him to get up from his little chamber, and move from the temple to look around.

The stallion paused as he exited, his claws digging into the grass and dirt. His large wings folded against his back, feathers spanning out in intricate ways along his sides and flank. Large ears flicked up and then outward, as though searching for sounds that didn't fit into the jungle he called his home. He frowned deeply, his fur kind of on end, before laying flat, cat like tail swishing behind him. When Hunahpu was certain it was all clear, he moved forward and into the jungles. He weaved the trees as though he had done it several times before; which he honestly had. He could probably do this in his sleep. He paused for a moment, frowning again, before his ears flicked back, and then flicked back up. He sighed, lowering his head to sniff at the ground. There was something on the ground... some smell he didn't recognize. His eyes narrowed some, claws flashing under him as he prepared for a fight. His mother had already sent a few creatures into his jungle to try and take out him and his brother; he wasn't going to let another get close.

The Angeni'Suti moved forward stealthily; his movements very cat like. He paused only when he got near a clearing, his eyes flickering from one side to another. his ears flicked, tail lashing behind him, before he paused, frowning deeper. His ears flicked up, and his eyes lingered on the creature not far from him. He tilted his head, wings shifting against his back as he took a few cautious steps forward watching from the shadows and trees at the creature. What was it... who was it?
