My Personal RP Guidelines
If you feel the need to remind me about an RP, do it politely or I will block you.
I will not permanently pair my characters without extensive roleplay. I like relationships to progress organically. I think instant love is unrealistic, and I like my characters to form friendships and bond.
I value roleplay, character interaction, and developing my existing characters more than breeding/getting babies. Don't ask me out of the blue to soul bind. Don't expect just one or two RPs to be enough for a soul binding.
I am comfortable with any romantic combination when considering pairings. Character chemistry and interaction are the most important factors in my decision to pair.
If your character manages to get into a relationship with one of mine and you leave Gaia or the shop, I will not hesitate to break the pairing if (a) I can't contact you, or (b) you don't want to rp them anymore. I will not leave characters together out of sentimentality - I would not expect anyone else to do the same if I left.
My soulbound characters will have a small heart icon next to their lifemate in the relationships section to delineate their status. (♥)
I don't like clothing designs on quadrupedal pets, so I will likely not be willing to soul bind my characters to b'alam with those types of designs. Sorry!

Everything about Eli'di is speed and quickness, and this mindset often works for and against him in equal parts. He talks fast, moves fast, and loves to race anyone and everyone who will take the challenge. He loves to run and stretch his legs, but can become competitive over just about any task. This can often lead to problems, of course, and his attention to detail tends to be severely lacking. But at least it got finished quickly, right?
Eli is quick to boast over his various 'skills' and can be very grating, but around those he admires (or in situations in which he's gotten himself into trouble) he can have quite the silver tongue. While he is a quick thinker and quick on his feet, this doesn't always save him from the fact that he almost never looks before he leaps. He's got a lot of learning to do!

Despite the fact that he belongs to the Ice Tribe, Deb's demeanor is anything but frosty, unless he's given a reason to be so. He greets the world with a quiet, amiable warmth that makes him easy to get along with. He often seems wise beyond his years, and is usually willing to lend an ear or a paw to anyone who needs either. He has a soft spot for youngsters, as well as a knack for keeping an even temper amongst the most obnoxious of cubs.
Aldebaran has a deep fascination with stars, and can spend hours stargazing and meditating on his own. When he enters this pensive state he becomes aloof and distant, but it doesn't take much to pull his head from the sky. He can also be very scatterbrained at times, and to his embarrassment, it takes him a good while to remember other B'alam's names. Despite his occasional childishness, he is no coward and can become quite bold if the situation calls for it, harboring little fear when it comes to protecting those important to him.

A timid, jumpy creature, Itzal shies away from contact with other b'alam quite frequently, for reasons not even he understands half the time. He is a quiet tahtll, with a hesitant, stumbling speech pattern and a penchant for introspection. This unsureness seems to follow him around like a shadow, always causing him to second guess things, and to think further on any given idea or decision.
While he can be annoyingly bumbling and bad at expressing his thoughts, the ones he does manage to share are sometimes surprisingly insightful (depending on the subject matter). He has an eye for detail, and a speculative outlook on life, always pondering, always asking questions, and always willing to carry out experiments to satiate his curiosity. Though he has not yet had enough contact with other B'alam to harbor feelings of loyalty to his tribe, his knowledge of the caverns in which he was born grow by the day.
Itzal awoke deep within the caverns of the Dark Tribe, enveloped in the subterranean darkness that has always provided him with a great sense of comfort and well-being. These feelings were a contributor to the fact that it took days for him to make his way to the surface for the first time, at which point he was half-starved and eager to feed. For many weeks, he slaked his thirst quietly and carefully on unsuspecting surface dwellers, before returning to the tribal territory every day at dusk. It didn't take long for Itzal to become aware of other Dark Tribe B'alam, but he carefully avoided contact, using small side passages to the surface in order to seek out hosts.
If given the choice, Itzal would gladly forgo the troublesome need to seek out blood. The caves are his love, and his passion lies in the exploration and investigation of the earth they dwell within. His attempts to learn have gained him much knowledge, and an extensive collection of rocks and minerals, but not everything received from the earth is a blessing. His expeditions have cost him; an accident has left him with a crippled left wing, rendering him nearly incapable of flight. While he is now only able to take short, awkward glides, he has not allowed this to hamper his feelings towards geological exploration.

An eccentric B'alam with a love for the theatre and carving puppets and toys, Raz is the Toymaker's Assistant of the Dark Tribe, and it's easy to see why. He is always brimming with playful energy, and is not afraid to engage anyone who shows creative promise. Singing, playing, and dancing are all among the types of things he enjoys doing, but it is his crafting that commands his deepest love and attention.
That said, he is always looking for like-minded individuals with which to spread knowledge and joy. Unfortunately he often gets carried away with his work; it is the main focus of his life, and he is not easily turned away from it.

History:
Born alone in the icy wastes some distance outside the Ice Tribe's capital, Sten was forced to fend for himself in the beginning. There's no doubt that this contributed to his cruel disposition in life. He worked hard to keep alive, suffering predators and the elements before finally being discovered by the Ice General, Sigurd himself. After being struck down, Sten agreed to join the tribe and began a life of rigorous training.
Half of his scars were earned in his early days, but his favorites were given to him by the General.
