Medical Ninjutsu (医療忍術, Iryō Ninjutsu) is a branch of ninjutsu associated with healing, as well as the manipulation of their own, or another's body, practiced by shinobi categorized as "medical-nin". The use of medical ninjutsu requires very advanced chakra control, as well as extensive knowledge on such things as herbs, medicines, the human body and even poisons.The knowledge of medical ninjutsu can be used for a variety of purposes apart from simply healing, such as creating and treating poisons.

• First Aid
User treats a target using items from their medical pouch applying a small amount of chakra to the healing process.

• Lesser Healing Jutsu
User treats a target using items from their medical pouch, applying a minor amount of chakra to the healing process.

• Poison Cleansing Jutsu
User creates an incision on the target, then filters anti-bacterial liquid into the cut to draw out the poison while at the same time healing the damage.

• Wound Extension
User extends their hands out at an injured target focusing their chakra to expose their wounds.


• Hōtai seisei [Bandage Creation]
In case you are unable to heal a wound fully, this technique allows you to take anything from a blade of grass to the bark of a tree and turn it into a bandage by infusing chakra into it. However, the size of the bandage will take longer to create.

• Kihon chiyu no pāmu [Basic Healing Palm]
This is one of the first healing techniques that a medic nin will learn throughout the course of their training. At this stage, the only thing that can be fully healed is wounds that do not breach too far into the second layer of skin or to decrease the pain suffered by a much deeper wound. This also works to remove a very simple infection, but no poison. However, it will take some time for the user to adjust to such a focused usage of chakra.

• Piasushīrudo [Pierce Shield]
This technique works hand in hand with that of Kihon chiyu no pāmu depending on the user's situation. Using this technique causes the user's chakra to mold around the weapon embedded in the body of the user or teammate. It's a basic technique taught to young medics to prevent them from further harming themselves or others by unsteadily removing the foreign object.

• Shindan [Diagnosis]
The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this skill a shinobi uses their hands to carefully probe a patient for problems. This technique is preformed by kneeling over a patient and slowly running both hands over their body, looking for signs of injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as internal injury, improper heart rate, non-apparent bone fractures, poisoning, and disease. A ninja of higher rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a body to determine cause and time of death. A Genin using this skill takes several minutes of work to determine the nature of a problem, a Chuunin takes less than a minute and a Jounin requires only a few seconds.

• Basic Setting Jutsu
User treats a target using items from their medical pouch, applying an average amount of chakra to the healing process.

• Pressure Point Strike
User funnels chakra into their hands and aims to hit a major artery on the opponents body.

• Prepared Needle Shot
User secretes body oils out of their finger's pores and applies it onto a weapon or shuriken, then motions to strike swiftly.

• Mystical Palm Technique
User concentrates chakra into the center of the palm, releasing the energy over a target's wound or injecting it into their nervous system to place them in a state of slumber.

• Pain Reliever
User would attain firm control over their electrical signals in preparation for an attack, that would numb the pain.

• Chakura no Mesu [Chakra Scalpel]
This medical technique forms one's chakra into a small, sharp blade. This can then be used for highly accurate incisions necessary for surgeries and anatomical dissections. Unlike regular scalpels, the chakra scalpel can make cuts inside the body without actually creating an open wound, limiting the risks of an infection.

The chakra scalpel can also be used offensively, although it requires great precision to be effective. Because of this requirement, using the chakra scalpel offensively is highly unusual. In heated combat, even the greatest medical-nin won't be able to exert the precision needed to make fatal cuts, but it can still effectively cut muscle tissues and tendons, rendering the target immobile.

Adding to the technique's blade like quality, it also appears to give the user an increased level of durability over their chakra clad hands.

• Shuhō hīringu [Healing Technique]
This is the next step to learning how to properly and more effectively heal someone. The user creates an orb of chakra and moves it over the injured areas to heal them. However, this does not effect extensive internal wounds.

• Doku no chūshutsu [Poison Removal]
The user places their palms over the injection sight and seeps their chakra into the area. With careful movements and chakra control, the poison is pulled out and completely removed. This technique will take longer depending on how long the poison has been in and it does not work well on more sever poisons that cause instant death.

• Shōdoku [Disinfection]
The user covers their hands in a thin layer of chakra that removes any bacteria and virus to prevent infecting the receiver of the healing process.

• Bone Mending Jutsu
User treats a target using items from their medical pouch, applying a large amount of chakra focusing on producing enhanced calcium to grow bone.

• Chakra Scalpel Jutsu
User channels chakra into their hand thinning it into a blade that does not create external incisions but internal ones instead. Perfect for Surgery.

• Dark Anesthesia (Forbidden)
User soothes a target by staring into their eyes, while applying chakra on a pressure point along the arm placing them in a restful state of slumber.

• Dead Soul Technique (Forbidden)
User writes along a corpses forehead using their own blood similar to a summoning technique, then channels chakra into their brain to jump start the corpse as a zombie.

• Oxygen Transfer
User performs CPR on a target and molds the chakra in their lungs to take in more oxygen while transferring it to the other.

• Cherry Blossom Impact
User channels chakra into their arms and legs molding it to stimulate their muscles at incredible limits. They then release this charged energy on impact with destructive results.

• Shadow Wound Preparation
User surrounds their body with chakra aimed at producing enough cells to sustain damage and numbing the pain as the wounds seal immediately after.

• Chakra Virus
User would concentrate chakra along their fingers, lengthening chakra like claws with a parasitic fungus in the nails capable of eating away a target's chakra once caught in their blood-stream. Visible symptoms would be that of a cold or flu.

• Sakuran no pāmu [Derangement Palm]
The user charges chakra in her/his fist and palm thrusts the opponent, damaging their central nervous system. This causes the opponent to have a brief disruption of information to throughout the system leaving them open for another attack.

• Hone shūfuku [Bone Repair]
This technique helps a user reconstruct basic fractures and some more extensive breakage amongst bones. However, this technique does not regrow bones or make the healing process comfortable for the receiver.

• Poison Mist
User inhales a moderate amount of oxygen then corrupts their cells in the lungs into a dark-purple gas before releasing it at a target.

• Important Body Points Disturbance
User channels chakra into their fingers and aim to send an invisible shockwave of electricity at a target's brain stem. This alters their nervous receptors making one body part move in place of the intended one.

• Cerebral Shock Technique
User concentrates a highly focused amount of chakra into their palm and strikes from behind at a target's spine causing them to fall incapacitated.

• Vestibular Disruption
User concentrates a highly focused amount of chakra into their palm and strikes at the side of the target's head with an open palm. Releasing the energy into the target's inner ear thusly upsetting their Vestibular System, causing their head to feel heavy and balance hindered.

• Regeneration Enhancement
User channels chakra along their body healing their wounds and quickly begins to recycle this energy each time until it is gone.

• Ranshinshō [Body Pathway Derangement]
An extremely high-level technique, used as a medical ninjutsu. The human body is controlled with electrical signals from the brain, but a person who had those electrical signals cut off with this technique will become unable to make their body move as they want. By transforming the chakra within one's body and giving it the properties of electricity, one creates an electric field. As soon as a strike of the hand lands, electricity is poured into the enemy's nervous system, severing the signals and deranging their body control. The target's body moves in any way, except how they want it to move. For the common shinobi, battle, not to mention even just walking, will become impossible.

However, the victim can partially overcome the technique if they manage to relearn the connection between their brain and their limbs. This feat however is not an easy one and takes a high amount of concentration and intelligence.

• In'yu Shōmetsu [Yin Healing Wound Destruction]
A medical ninjutsu where one anticipates the spot the enemy will attack and pre-emptively applies medical treatment to it, reducing damage to a minimum. The user concentrates chakra to that area and begins the cell recreation process even before the targeted area becomes damaged. Using opponent's facial expression and movements, the technique's speed and power, the user analyses everything in an instant and accurately deduces where the attack will land. Even more than accurately predicting the attack or instantly gauging the situation, a great resilience is necessary.

• Greater Healing Jutsu
User treats a target using items from their medical pouch, applying a large amount of chakra into their heart massaging it with their chakra to produce a vast amount of new bloodcells as it is pumping - but if done incorrectly it can damage their heart instead.

• Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique
User uses their mastery over the human body's anatomy and channels chakra into their fingers striking 4 artery points along the human body and the final one a thrust of the palm at the heart. Simple taps are enough to inject a strong amount of chakra into these arteries causing them to pump extra blood into the heart as it closes. Once the effect ends, the target suffers from a heart attack as the heart valves open with a rush of blood enough to seep from their pores.

• Saibō no Kasseijutsu [Cell Activation Technique]
Used only in the most dire of surgical procedures to increase the patient's survival rate if even by a single percentage, this technique employs a great level of refined chakra control to simultaneously activate all the cells in a person's body. This is done in order to cause the body to be able to repair itself even while the medical-nin is operating, restoring damaged tissues, and bone structures while healing the target during more invasive and delicate procedures.
