Happily prancing about Skaal barely noticed that he was moving farther and farther away from his mother and sisters, but he was 'exploring' and needed some time to figure out this big world he was suddenly a part of. Not even realizing he was giving his mother fits he moved past a large tree and then finally figured it out. "Where am I?" Looking about himself he blinked, once, twice, three times, then yelled out his mothers name. Pricking his ears forward he listened hoping for an answering call, beckoning him home, but none came.

Kade had been having a rather boring normal day, spending his time simply enjoying the warm sun on his back and the breezes through his feathers. He was lost in his thoughts when he heard a small voice shouting. At first he thought nothing of it but when he looked about and he noticed the small white creature standing at the edge of the woods looking about. Kade was very unsure what he was looking at. It reminded him of a foal but the odd wings were confusing him. It didn't help that he hadn't been around any foals since he and his brother were colts themselves. The little one didn't seem to notice he was there so he warily began walking towards the little one.

Skaal almost started to panic at the thought that he was lost, but snapped himself out of it. Young though he was he knew two things. The sun was still very high so dark was a ways off, and if he followed his own trail back he was bound to find home. He looked down and tried to find his own hoof prints only to realize that there were none. The grass was too high and the ground too firm to make a good enough impression. Panic started to cloud the edges of his mind once again until he heard the grass shift behind him. He turned around as fast as he could, wings open wide in a threatening display, hoping that if it was a predator he could scare it off, but what he saw instead was a giant. A brown coated, winged giant. His eyes went wide and his wings fell to his sides forgotten as he stared up at the beast in front of him. 'No.. Not a beast, another soquili?' He thought to himself. It was at least four times his height and had lots of solid looking muscle. Maybe this person could help him.

Kade came to an abrupt halt and snorted in surprise as the foal whipped about. He was about to scold the little one but instead his heart melted when he saw the fear filled expression that followed the outburst of bravado. He quickly dropped his head closer to eye level with the foal and held his wings close to his body so he wouldn't seem so imposing. "Whoa little man. I'm not gonna hurt ya." He stood still as a rock for a moment his green eyes watching the colts moves.

Skaalbjorn believed the giant when he said he wouldn't hurt him. He folded his over large wings and moved closer to the green eyed male. Someone of his size could easily protect him and maybe help him find his mother, but still he had to be wary as he didn't know the giant. In fact the giant was the first other he'd met outside of his mother's herd. "Jeez mister you sure are big. I don't think I've ever seen someone as big as you!" Skaal bore a slight accent that his mother told him was from his father's side of the family. She called it Nor... Nor... Nordic! That was it. Skaal was pleased that he remembered the word for it was an odd one.

Kade was relieved that the colt seemed more curious than afraid of him after he realized that he wasn't a threat. He began to relax a bit though he kept his head lowered so he wouldn't be towering over the boy quite as badly. Kade was unsure how he should act around the young one. Kade chuckled at the colt's remark. "Well o'course. All draft horses are bigger than normal soquili. I'm Kade. How bout you little man, you gotta name?"

Skaal started to prowl around the draft Soquili as he'd called himself. He really was the biggest Soquili that Skaal had ever seen. About halfway around the other side of Kade he heard the question, "My mother named me Skaalbjorn but that's a little long so just call me Skaal mister Kade!" If anything Skaal was polite. He'd been taught by his mother to always have manners when speaking to someone. At times he found them tedious but he adhered to his mother's wishes. Unsurprisingly after his tour of Kade's form, Skaal's stomach started to growl. He looked this way and that and then finally up at the lowered head, "I'm hungry!" Tactful, yup, that was Skaal all right.
Master Wild Mage Kade is going to be dragged all over on Skaal's little adventure. It might scare the poor boy away from having his own. Lol.

Kade attempted to watch the youngster as he circled his body. He tried to watch over his back but since his own wings got in the way so he ended up looking between his own legs to get a better view of the colt. It kinda got him dizzy and a bit light headed so he raised his head back to it's normal height once again. "Alright, Skaal it is then." Kade was a bit perplexed how to respond at the little one's complaint of being hungry. "Ummm.... well, where's your momma? I've never actually been around the younger foals since I was one so I wouldn't even know what you could eat." Kade shifted on his hooves in uncertainty.
Wasteland Wyvern lol I doubt it'll rattle him that much but he'll get a few sooner or later either way cause I say so. I'm hoping sometime soon. Mwahaha!

"Um, well I'm kinda, lost..." He almost deflated with those words. His over large wings hanging limply at his sides. He missed his mother already but his stomach was distracting with its incessant gurgles. "Well I think maybe, could you? Um will you help me find my momma, Mister Kade?" Though he wasn't really sure where his mother was or how to find her. He just hoped that the big draft would help him. Kade was big and strong and would be able to help scare off anyone who wanted to prey on him, due to his age. Hopefully the young colt looked up at Kade. Skaal was pulling his puppy eyes routine. No one could resist it!
Master Wild Mage I hope he has some of his own soon, but Skaal will put the fear of the gods into him about how easily distracted they are and how they tend to wander off. Lol.
