Noemi wasn't sure where she found the training instructions for Mist hunters on top of their usual training excersises. It seemed a full hunter by the name of Candace Rainstar had left them for mist trainee's like herself to practice by!
Some of them seemed really hard, and some of them seemed really easy! She had confidence in her sneaking skills...a bit. okay not a lot so she chose the course that would probably be the best to practice with.
The problem was finding a hunter to just...follow around. It wasn't like she really wanted to do that but..Mist training called.
Luckily she noticed a blonde moon hunter not too far off and decided to test out the training on him. She casually stuck to the wall, following him from a good distance while playing with her fingers.
She was praying not to be caught, oh lord do not let her be caught.

Chris walked down the hall, eye glued to his phone as he went. Chel had texted him at some ungodly hour this morning, waking him far earlier than he'd meant to be up. Worse yet, the text had been mostly incoherent babble, leaving him confused and disgruntled, unable to go back to bed. It had left him rather groggy and dragging today.
The perfect victim.
He didn't have so much as a feeling he was being watched. He just grumbled something angrily and his send on his phone, shoving it in his back pocket.

Noemi string along, moving closer to Chris in attempt to hear what he was saying. As far as she knew, he was talking to his cell phone and she wasn't sure if that was really...important to know.
She kept to the wall, keeping her ear perked at the moon hunter.
Just what would she learn from him?

He had extra time today. That was particularly exciting for him, at least. He patrolled the halls only for a few minutes, determining that the dorm building was mostly clear. Good, that meant no interruptions.
He headed back towards his own room, calling out for Lydia as he entered just to make sure she had left too. His only mistake was not closing his door all the way.
Free time was the best, because it meant he could get undressed...

...
And put on his Captain America cosplay. He squeezed into the tights and shoved a very accurate helmet on his head. When he faced himself in the full length mirror, he gave a little salute.
He looked awesome.

Noemi had to double back, wait in a closet that she left barely cracked as Chris did a double take around and then went back to what she assumed was his room.
He called out for someone, by the name of Lydia. A roommate? But since no one answered, the mist huntress assumed that Miss Lydia was not in fact around. She peeked into the room and was surprised to see that....
Instead of Chris, There was Captain America! SHE HAD TO COVER HER MOUTH FROM GASPING. She loved Captain America! her Mami did too! He was what her mami would call a studmuffin with a nice shield. Noemi didn't know what that meant but...Was Chris Captain America!!? Did they have the avengers on the Island!?! That would be amazing!

Chris's shoulders slumped the longer he looked at himself in the mirror. He may look cool, but he was no Cap. "Man, if only I'd been as good as you in the army, Cap," he said sadly. "But I ******** up and got my a** sent here instead." He tugged off the helmet, but then he thought he heard something. He froze for a second and then whipped his head towards the door.

Noemi had two blessed minutes to learn that Chris was not in fact Captain America, was highly disappointed when she realized the she was standing outside his door and he could probably SEE or HEAR her. As quickly as she could, she moved down the hallway, around the corner and away from his eye sight.
A hand over her chest, a calming mantra to ease the over beating heart and peek over the corner revealed the Chris returned to his normal clothing.
She would resume her tracking of him, with her dodged bullet.

With the resuming of following the moon hunter, Noemi followed him all the way to the bathrooms.
Would he dare go in the females? or would he go into the males like he was supposed too.
This was also important to watch. She paid close attention.

Chris was comfortable in his identity, and thus went into the men's room. However, he did hold out until he got to the one at the very end of the hall, cause it was less used and smelled better.
Generally.
Sometimes it was just as bad as the others.
He was still feeling freaked out and anxious as he exited the restroom, and peered suspiciously around. He swore he felt like someone was nearby.

Noemi ducked into the women's restroom as Chris went in the mens.
Once she heard the door creak open on his side, and that he moved away, she peered out. As quietly as she could, she slipped out, slipping against the wall and returned to following him.
This was actually fun....

Noemi's paced slowed, to give herself and Chris good distance in case the moon hunter decided to really come after her. She could tell he was getting paranoid by now, but she couldn't give up the training.
She lost him though, in her attempts to give him distance, and when she did catch up...he looked...worser for the wear?

Empty halls meant that Chris wasn't ashamed to slip away to some privacy again. He didn't go back to his dorm, but he slipped into an unmarked room and hid away.
What were you doing, Chris? We just don't know.
When he reemerged his clothes were rumpled, his hair was mussed, and he looked less paranoid than he had before. Or at least less anxious about it. He still glanced down the hall as he emerged, but he mostly seemed to just be on the look out for people that might catch him being very unproductive today.

Noemi had been too close to Chris, so when he looked down the hallway, just as she started jogging over to him.
When her eyes met his, she froze and then looked around.
Only spot to hide was behind a randomly placed fern!
So SHE HID BEHIND THE FERN.

Chris squinted when his eyes met with some other hunter's, and for a second he was just confused as to when she got there. But then she hid, and he became highly suspicious. She didn't even hide well!
He sidestepped around the fern and raised a brow at her. He kicked at the fern's pot gently to be sure he had her full attention. "Sorry to tell you, sweetheart, but you're not very well hidden. Care to explain?"
