Jason had come to the conclusion that, at this moment he was woefully under prepared when it came to using runic items. Sure he had his bandages, but when it came to items that could possible protect himself and others, he only had Zanthvos. Perhaps it was time he tried to do another training course? The idea thought made him shudder, as he had vivid memories of his time in the battle arena. And waking up multiple times in the life labs hoping H hadn't messed with his internal organs. But still, maybe the other training courses weren't so bad? Ha, he wished. As he stared at the list of training courses avaiable, he found that he wasn't sure which one he should pick. With no idea, he decided to ask someone else, which ended up being the lovely sun trainee known as Chel. "H-hey!" He called out to her. "Have you done any of the training courses? W-would you know a good one to pick?"

Chel jumped as a familiar voice joined her, but smiled to see it was just Jason. She was quickly getting well acquainted with this guy, and that definitely wasn't a bad thing. In fact, she quite liked Jason. He was funny to Chel, in his own quirky way.
"What, you get a choice?" Chel asked. She waved her own phone at him and said, "They're making me do death's training course. I don't ********' know why, I a'int gettin' anywhere near death division, ever. Caelius creeps me out too much." She looked around, wondering if he could hear her, even now.
She jabbed Jason and said, "Well if you getta choose, why don't you come with me? Teamwork!"

"I'm..pretty sure you could choose?" Jason had never been contacted to do a training course himself (maybe because they all knew he'd suck at it or something), so he had assumed it was a volunteer sort of thing. Do in your own time and all that. Apparently though Chel had no such option. "You're doing deaths?" The mere mention of Caelius made his face pale, as he had no desire to be anywhere near the death lead. "T-that is a little weird. I would of thought you'd do the Sun training course."
...Now that he thought about it he probably should have, but Chel was offering to let him tag along. "S-sure, I'd be happy to" He replied.

"Nah, I already done the sun training course a few times. They want me to expand my skillset or what the ******** ever." She looped her arm around Jason's and began walking towards the training chamber. "You done this one before? It can be kind of doozy if you havent'."
She shuddered, remembering her last time in the course. Golem explosions, lots of shark pits and lava pits, and tons, tons, tons of blood.
Gross.

Linking his arm with hers, Jason shook his head. "No...I've only done the life training....H-how bad is it?" Did he even want to know? The requirements for the training meant they needed to use a golem, which made him feel a little better. His body wouldn't be hurt this time, at least.

Chel sighed. "Pretty bad. It's Caelius' course, you know? Lots of dying. Just 'cause it's in a golem doesn't mean it don't shake you a little."
She groaned staring at the tiles. "So there's a bunch of tiles and they're all going to kill you." She tossed a little flag onto a square, which promptly exploded. "See?"Status Step: 1 HP: 50/50 Flags: 1 - 1 = 0 Instinctive moves: 0

Jason hadn't realize exactly what he was stepping into, until he realized that this course was designed by CaeliusDesigned. By Caelius He wanted to go back to his room now, but instead he swallowed his now very dry throat, and watched as Chel threw a flag and it exploded. Unable to suppress a whimper, Jason jumped ahead onto one of the tiles, flinched. And sighed. He was safe. For now. Status Step: 1 HP: 50/50 Flags: 1 Instinctive moves: 0

That..look like it hurt. "Are you okay??" Jason shouted at Chel, moving to another square and promptly screaming when he burst into flames. This was not a fun place to be. Status Step: 2 HP: 25/50 Flags: 1 Instinctive moves: 0

Chel took ONE MORE STEP and opened her mouth to respond to Jason, but then her tile was smashed by a giant rock hand that came down from the ceiling and smooshed her golem.
Luckily, Chel was not in it. She just waited outside the minesweeper for Jason to inevitably die, and then they could go back in together.

Jason panicked when he saw Chel get smushed by a rock, then remembered that she was in a golem and not herself. Cue a sigh of relief. Considering that they had been stepping on one deadly tile after the other, he could almost guarantee the next one would be dangerous. So he threw a flag on it much like chel had. Of course, it was quickly blown up. Status Step: 3 HP: 25/50 Flags: 1 - 1 = 0 Instinctive moves: 0

He then stepped onto the fifth tile, and stood still awaiting to be blown up. He was not. "......" Jason was amazed at the fact he had just passed the deathsweeper. on his first attempt. This wasn't supposed to happen, you just did not pass the deathsweeper on your first attempt. "...Uhh...Chel...." He said, looking back at the observation window. "I uhh..."
