Basic Information


Name: Mana Seijitsu

Age: 1800's [30]
Race: Shinigami
Appearance: Average build, sandy brown tussles, blue-green eyes.
Affiliation: Gotei 13
Position/Rank: 10th Division Captain
Personality: Despite his position as the warden of the Maggot's Nest and all other prison types within soul society and his division Mana is mainly noted as being immeasurably kind to those around him. He's normally quiet and calm in most cases, occasionally showcasing his generosity to those around him, his rank as Warden is well known and his caring treatment towards those in his charge is also a general fact. However there is a side to him few have seen save for some of the more unlucky prisoners, he can be a terrible man and fearsome, proficient in torture if necessary and incredibly cold towards those who break the rules. Law is important to him, following orders is definite, anyone he catches breaking the law or abusing it will meet his wrath for the proclaimed Mountain of a man waves an iron fist and does not allow anyone to stray from the path of righteousness, as is his job as a keeper of justice and a judge of the damned.
History: Being one of the eldest in soul society there is much to cover in Mana, he has been a captain longer than any other exclude for the Captain Commander himself, approximately eleven-hundred years of his life he's been the captain of the tenth division. It's never been questioned as to why he was awarded captaincy due to his age however there are no records of his bankai ever being achieved or used in combat, in fact the only one to ever see his second release and live to tell the tale was the Captain Commander himself due to it being a requirement in order to achieve his rank. Throughout his many years within the Gotei Thirteen this particular captain has managed to make many names for himself and has been told of in many stories, being the warden of all prisoners in soul society makes you a rather notorious man and the star of many rumors. Despite how kind and caring of a captain he can be Mana is known for being by the book and very strict to his underlings, making sure they are always following the rules unless they wish to invoke his wrath. Out of all the other captain's he's lost the most friends, being closer to the previous generation of captains than this one save for a few of the elder captains in their eight to nine hundreds. His closest friend now being his very zanpakuto Jishinmusume whom he is able to materialize and speak with freely, the two of them have one, if not the strongest bond between spirit and master out of all of soul society and he strongly believes that ones power reflects how they treat their zanpakuto. His track record in the past thousand years has been flawless, he has never let anybody escape and has been granted many titles thanks to his unbelievable loyalty, including the grand executioner of soul society, now carrying an executioner's mask fashioned from a hollow mask which he completely tore from the face of a powerful hollow to taunt it. Outside of soul society this captain has had no notable feats, he's never fought in the public eye, taking most battles away from the fray to conceal his abilities, a very secretive man in all aspects. His overall strengths and weaknesses remain a mystery to his brethren and he wishes to keep it this way as long as possible, feeling his age alone is enough to prove his power as captain.


Zanpakuto Information

Release Command: "Teach what it means to be unshakable, bring the world crumbling to your feet, cry out in rage and power, leave no traces behind Jishinmusume."
Shikai Appearance: When shikai is active the blade doesn't have any notable changes about it however as a passive ability the zanpakuto as well as the body of its user emit heavy vibrations at a constant rate, enough to crack any surface the user or the blade come into contact with. The blade itself is able to send vibration based shock waves through contact with other objects, such as clashing with another blade and sending vibrations through it to the arm of the user in question. The body of the user holds the same properties and is able to use touch to momentarily disable an opponents limb or at least forcibly knock them back.
Shikai Techniques/Abilities
Kanakirigoe - Mana is able to concentrate the vibrations coursing through his body into a single high pitched sound, this note carries the shock waves with it and is able to create a devastating area of effect attack that is able to both deafen an opponent and break bones if they are caught within the visible sound vibrations being sent forward. The attack itself spans 100ft wide and 300ft long making it a very difficult attack to dodge, especially in a close range combat situation, the fact that it does not directly use the blade can make it even more deceptive and hard to read. The effects of the soundwaves weaken the further away one is, the closer the opponent the more damage to be expected from the attack, point blank being able to quite possibly break a multitude of bones in the enemies body. Shibire - Mana increases the power of the constant vibrations coursing through him for one attack, once his zanpakuto strikes the enemy, or the enemy zanpakuto all the welled up power will be transferred through his blade and into the affected area instantly rendering the limb unusable for a set limit of time. If somewhere other than a limb is struck they will be unable to feel the afflicted area for the same set limit of time and they will find their movement to be sluggish and slightly slower than normal as well. Hakushu - By focusing all his bodies vibrations into the palm of his hands he is able to clap together and create a giant shock wave in a 360° around himself pushing away incoming attacks and opponents with such force it would take an attack of equal or more power to break through it. The power of the ability itself is enough to completely crumble the ground around it compacting it into nothing but a crater at Mana's feet. The attack itself consumes a 50ft radius in a sphere around Mana when cast, anything closer than 50ft will be thrown back and suffer severe pain from the blunt force of the attack, possibly resulting in broken bones depending on how close the enemy was. Bankai Name: Jishinmusume Gokei Shoten
Bankai Appearance: Once Mana activates his full connection with his zanpakuto he is granted the gauntlets of Jishinmusume, two large mechanical arms which emit incredibly powerful vibrations at an timeless level, even the air around the fists for 2ft are distorted from the sheer power of the shock waves being delivered, they add an area of effect blunt force to attacks. Mana is also granted the skewer of Jishinmusume, a mechanical tail which holds the same properties as the gauntlets, except the vibrations are not focused on blunt force and instead are able to slice anything within the 2ft vibrations.
Bankai Techniques/Abilities
Hashira - Using the skewer mechanic Mana is able to break the tail into five different parts, all slimmer and the vibrations less intense when they are connected it adds for more versatility and maneuverability. The end of each tail sharp as a dagger, meaning five new ways to attack have been created for Mana, despite the power of the tail being cut into five. The tail can be pieced back together to create the whole once again whenever the user chooses however it'll be forcibly reconnected after a time limit has been reached. Doriru - Using the skewer mechanic Mana is able to spin the skewer rapidly making it seem more like a drill, with the added vibrations it becomes a deadly spire of attack, able to break through any surface with relative ease, as well as destroy human bodies like fodder if one lets it get close enough. The drilling motion is tough to control meaning it cannot remain active for a very long period of time, usually only working in a quick stabbing motion or to destroy oncoming debris. [6 Post Cooldown]
Noroshi - Using the gauntlet mechanic Mana is able to use an enhancement placed in the large fists which allows for them to be fired outward like a cannon, attached to a long cord emitting the same vibrations as the fists making them virtually untouchable as well. The fire rate is quick, they shoot and retract in the blink of an eye and give an impact able to break bones on a large scale, however they take some time before they can be prepared to launch again. They can also be manipulated easily and swung like flails in a fashion before being retracted back to the user giving them many different uses in battle. [4 Post Cooldown]
Bimu - By concentrating all the vibrations throughout both the mechanics and his body Mana is able to fire off two lasers streaming from both gauntlet palms, these lasers are 5ft by 5ft and can reach up to 400ft in length. The laser itself is a concentrated shockwave of vibrations with the ability to literally crush anything it comes into contact with, enough so to flatten a human body against any surface with its pushing strength. The beam can steadily stream for a total of 10sec before it begins to lose strength and dissipate. The attack is very taxing and takes some time to be able to store enough energy to use for a second blast. [6 Post Cooldown]

Known Techniques/Skills
Zanjutsu - Mana is an unmatched swordsman in the defensive style, a unique way of fighting he donned claiming it to be the Turtle Technique, a type of blade work which involves almost only using a parry, his shikai doing the rest of the work for him, the vibrations being sent through both blades eventually rendering the opponents arm unusable to the point where they must withdraw from battle. By only ever using parrying he takes a very pacifistic outlook on battle, never aiming for fatal blows and instead forcing the opponent to submit and surrender, although it lacks true power it has been shown through his many milestones to be extremely effective in use.
Hakuda - Hand to hand combat is another area Mana excells in greatly due to the uniqueness of his zanpakuto's abilities, thanks to his shikai granting his blade and body constant vibrato his fist fighting holds the same merits as his swordsmanship except at a more efficient level as he is the true source of the shock waves being emitted and not his blade. Depending on the amount of vibration being sent through his body his open palm fighting style can go from numbing limbs and areas on the body to breaking bones, although he rarely escalates to such a level unless his opponent is able to overpower and possibly kill him, then he may be forced to send out his maximum strength.
Hohō - Being a mountain means speed is not exactly a strong suit for the Captain, he is possibly the slowest of all the other Gotei Elite when it comes to Hoho and the likes, he has never been a speedy individual although this does very little to deter him as he is like a human fortress, a structure of great strength and mass that can take its fair share of punishment on the field of battle. His Hoho is still apparent, however he is not quick, more of an adept in the field of speed, he has different priorities than the ability to be anywhere at once.
Durability - Durability is where Mana shines, although his zanpakuto does not truly focus on the body and its ability to take punishment he still has tough skin, although it feels and looks soft as a babes it's truly as rough as rocks, he is able to take a considerable amount of punishment thanks to this, of course a cut still bleeds, but a bruise might be harder to make happen, and broken bones can be a very difficult achievement against this man. His standard build for a man is deceiving as he is almost all muscle, and when he tenses his body he can take a blow, or three or four, with great ease.
Reiryoku - Being Captain of a division Mana has possibly one of the highest Reiryoku levels in all of soul society. Being renowned as the man who speaks to spirits, it was given to him for a reason. Being able to both manifest and fully communicate with his own zanpakuto, and even enter and speak with the zanpakuto of his own inside its very realm, these are some special perks he has found himself with due to all his training and his high individual spiritual pressure.
Kido - Surprisingly Mana has literally given himself no time in learning Kido, he was given captaincy solely on the fact that his individual strength was immense and his offensive capabilities in both swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat. Some see this as a weakness however there have been none to best Mana in combat to date although he does not exactly seek confrontation, preferring speech and peaceful relations.

For Reiatsu level, I believe jighthigh wanted to make it based on literacy of profile. Your character would be among the strongest captains, but not second strongest as those ranks are still unclear.


I sort of goofed up. Majestic Sugar already has Seireitei Security, but your division could specifically be about prison? ;w;

I have no problems with that I've been thinking of bumping up the age of the head captain to 2000 or 1900 anyways though I don't care if there are more then one Second generations left.

Alright. I planned to only be in charge of the imprisonment and fate of those in my charge. I didn't really want the full defense of seireitei anyway. As for reiatsu level I'm fine with not being the strongest, or second strongest. ^^;
